Y/n POV:

Jungkook didn't talk to me after that incident but I knew something was wrong with him.

I was determinated to find out what happened between them.

Jungkook went to the guest room while I went to my room wondering whether I should leave him alone or not.

Changing into comfortable clothes, I laid on my bed worrying about him.

The door creaked open, revealing Jungkook.

He was holding a pair of the pillow and a blanket on his other hand.

"Can I sleep here? I don't want to be alone tonight."

Blankly, I just stared at him without answering.

Innocently, he blinked a few times, "I promise I won't talk or disturb you. I won't make a sound."

I nodded, sitting on the bed.

Closing the door behind, he came inside and placed the pillow on the floor. I watched him in awe.

"What are you doing? The floor is cold."

He smiled sheepishly before coming towards the bed, jumping lightly on his feet.

I furrowed my brows when he plopped on the bed lying next to me.

He settled on the bed, making himself comfortable.

Crossing my arms, I stood up from the bed, "Who arms you the permission to sleep on the bed?"

"You said the floor is cold." Innocently he explained himself.

I shook my head, observing his confused expression.

This kid is just clueless.

"You can sleep on the couch," Pointing towards the couch, I told him.

"But... I'm not feeling good." He lowered his head, fiddling with the hem of the blanket.

I recalled how devastated, he was a while ago. Feeling pity, I allowed him to stay.

I took a pillow heading to the couch.

His expression turned sour.

"I'm going to sleep on the couch, you can sleep on the bed," I clarified, walking away.

"Can't we sleep together?" He asked and I turned around to throw a death glare.

"Um, never mind." Darting his eyes, he hid under the blanket.

I rolled my eyes and went to sleep on the couch.

My eyes flickered into darkness due to exhaustion.

During lunch break

I was on my way to the cafeteria when I heard the familiar voice.

"Y/N!"

I stopped in my tracks.

At first, I thought it was just my imagination but I turned around when the voice called my name twice.

"TAE!" I exclaimed, seeing him holding a suitcase.

Taking off his sunglasses, widely he spread his arms. I sprinted to him and gave a hug.

"What are you doing here?" Pulling away from the hug, I asked.

"I missed you. So here I am." With a grin, he replied.

Again, he pulled me into a hug.

Someone cleared their throat.

I whirled my head to see Jungkook, fuming in anger.

Quickly, I moved away from Taehyung and faced Jungkook.

He passed an intense glare to Taehyung and then stared at me.

"Aren't you supposed to work, Mrs. Jeon." He emphasized the word 'Mrs. Jeon'.

Noticing the smirk on his face, I frowned.

Is he trying to humiliate me in front of my friend?

Taehyung stared at both of us in confusion.

"It's Ms. Kang, Mr. Jeon. I guess you were too occupied in work to realize that it's the time for lunch."

I smiled in victory when his smirk got wiped away with my response.

"Let's go, Tae." Holding Taehyung's arm, I dragged him to the cafeteria.

I turned around to see Jungkook loosening his tie, poking out his tongue in jealousy.

Our eyes met, I sticked out my tongue before leaving his sight.

We were sitting at a table in the corner of the cafeteria, enjoying our lunch.

"How did you end up here?" I asked Taehyung.

"I asked my friend to find the place you work and came straight here from the airport."

"What about your work?"

"I moved my business here. Do you want to join my company?" He took a big bite of his sandwich.

I raised my brows, "I'm already working here."

"At your ex-husband's company..." Stuffing up his mouth with food, he said.

"He is still my husband. We didn't get a divorce...yet." Giving a half shrug, I told him.

He stopped eating and looked at me with a blank expression.

There goes the blank Tae Tae.

"Why didn't you tell me before?" He yelled, spraying food out his mouth.

A piece of bread landed on my cheek. Scrunching my nose in disgust, I removed it.

"Oh oh... Sorry about that." Cheekily, he smiled, wiping his mouth.

I got startled by a loud 'thud' noise.

It was Jungkook who slammed his tray on the table, sitting beside me.

He passed a glare at Taehyung before taking his seat.

Taehyung gulped seeing the furious, Jungkook.

The place went silent with his arrival.

Jungkook kept sending threatening looks at Taehyung who was eating heartily a while ago before he got here.

Taehyung squirmed in his seat, lowering his head getting uncomfortable with his stares.

Releasing a sigh, I faced Jungkook in order to save my friend from the awkwardness.

"Meet my friend, Taehyung," I introduced him and Taehyung lifted his chin.

"Hi, I'm Kim Taehyung, the owner of Gucci Enterprises. It's a pleasure to meet you, sir." Along with a warm smile, he pulled his hand forward for a handshake.

Jungkook giving an intense gaze, took a bite from his sandwich, ignoring him.

Feeling awkward, Taehyung pulled back his hand, rubbing his hand on his thigh.

"Why didn't you introduce me?" Jungkook turned to me.

"He already knows you," I whispered.

Jungkook slowly nodded after hearing my reply and pulled out his hand for a handshake.

"I'm Jeon Jungkook, her husband." He motioned to me by jerking his head to my side.

Taehyung shook hands, delightfully while Jungkook nodded giving a small smile.

"By the way, you look familiar. Have we met before?" Jungkook leaned forward, narrowing his eyes.

I panicked looking at Taehyung, who was terrified as if he has seen a ghost.

Does he still remember that day?

Taehyung looked at me with fear in his eyes.

"We met on Jejudo Island. The thugs?"

"I'm sorry for being rude that day-" Taehyung muttered, lowering his head.

"I knew it!" Clapping his hands, Jungkook yelled with a smirk.

"I didn't get to thank you for that day, properly. Thank you for saving my wife." Wrapping his hands around me, he pulled me closer to him.

"Jagi~ Why didn't you tell me about him?" Gritting his teeth, Jungkook whispered near my ear.

I chuckled looking at Taehyung, who was passing glances at me and Jungkook.

Probably thinking, why both of us were grinning like a bunch of idiots.

"You never asked," I mumbled, still plastering a fake smile on my face.

I got rid of his arms from my shoulder.

Jungkook turned his attention to Taehyung, starting a conversation with him.

"Excuse me, both of you. I need to go back to work." I excused myself, feeling left out.

They didn't pay attention to me and continued talking.

I texted Namjoon, asking for the address of Jimin. I wanted to talk to him, to find out the truth behind their fight.

I parked my car near the house and walked to the doorway.

Ringing the doorbell of the house, I waited until someone opened the door.

I jolted upright in shock.

"You?!"
