Y/n POV:

"Do you know me?"

Puzzled by my reaction, Park Chanyeol asked.

"You look familiar. Have we met before?" A mischievous smirk spread across his face as he asked in a flirty manner.

He got up on his feet and pulled out his hand, offering help.

"No thanks!" Neatly, I brushed off the wrinkles on my Khaki pants.

"I'm Park Chanyeol and you?" He asked, holding out his hand for a handshake.

I was about to say something when someone interrupted.

"Y/n," I whirled my head to see Jungkook standing behind me.

"Y/n?!" Chanyeol mumbled with a blank expression.

"I need to tell you something," Jungkook took a glance at his brother before turning to look at me.

"Sorry but I'm busy." Before he could say anything else, I hurried to leave.

Jungkook POV:

I sighed and turned towards the elevator.

"You know her?" Chanyeol asked, surprised.

"Why do you want to know?" Ignoring him, I continued to walk.

He stood in front of me, blocking my way.

"Who is she?" Again, he asked in a serious tone.

Why is even talking to me?

For the past five years, he has been treating as if I didn't exist.

He stopped on getting on nerves like he used to do before.

Now what does he wants?

"You already know her." Shoving my hands in my pocket, I stopped by the elevator and pressed the button.

He followed after me.

"I don't think we met before but she seems familiar and her name-"

"She is my wife, Y/n!" Before he could complete his sentence, I confessed.

He froze when he heard me.

"You're lying, right?" He couldn't believe his ears.

"She is Y/n. She... She just changed into a completely different person." Hanging my head low, I whispered the last sentence.

It was true. She changed a lot, because of the pain I caused her.

Just then, the elevator door opened and I left him in a shocking state.

I came home earlier than other days. Relaxing on the couch, I closed my eyes.

The doorbell rang, I opened my eyes and dragged myself to the door.

Unknotting my tie, I opened the door to see my friends.

What will I do now?

I didn't get a chance to tell Y/n that they are visiting us.

Namjoon hyung patted my shoulder, coming inside the house.

"Argh! You said you'll come tonight." I groaned.

"We couldn't wait to see Y/n." Jin hyung said, stepping inside.

"Where is she?!" I rolled my eyes at Hoseok hyung who came out of nowhere, excitedly asking about her.

"She doesn't want to meet you," I told him honestly, recalling her words.

He frowned.

I sighed and pushed him inside the house before closing the door.

"Let's have a welcoming party for Y/n." Jin hyung suggested.

"You guys didn't even celebrate my birthday." Namjoon hyung complained in a low voice.

"You said celebrating birthdays is childish." Hoseok hyung threw himself on the couch.

"I never thought you guys would take it seriously." He nervously smiled.

"Okay then let's celebrate his birthday along with the welcoming party." Jin hyung recommended and we all agreed with it.

We started the preparation in the backyard.

Everyone was busy decorating and arranging everything for the party and there was Yoongi hyung who was lying on the sunbath bench trying to get some sleep.

"Hey, Yoongi. I need your help." Jin hyung struggled to open the lid of a bottle.

He opened one of his eyes to look and lazily walked to us.

He passed by Jin hyung and took a cup of iced tea before leaving.

"Hey! You won't get food if you don't work." Jin hyung scolded.

Y/n POV:

I finished all the works, so I get to leave early. Stepping out of the car, I made my way towards the gate of the house.

Noticing the presence of someone in the garden, I approached him.

"Yoongi?!"

He was sucking the straw in his mouth and playing with his phone.

"Hyung! Jin hyung was looking for you." Jungkook stood behind Yoongi, tapping on his shoulder.

Jungkook turned his gaze towards me when he noticed Yoongi's eyes fixed on me. He tensed, seeing me.

"Oh, babe~ You came back earlier than I expected." Stealing a glance at Yoongi, he bit his nails in nervousness.

I rolled my eyes, clearly aware of him putting on show.

"Babe?" Yoongi whispered, the straw still in his mouth.

Hoseok was running towards us.

"Where is my babe- I mean where is Y/n?" He tried to catch his breath, looking around.

He came to me and I held up my hand waving him but he passed by me without sparing a glance.

He checked outside, opening the gate.

"Where is Y/n?" Noticing no presence outside, he came to us scratching the back of his head.

Jungkook stood next to me and placed his hands on my shoulders.

"Are you cheating on your wife?" Hoseok stared in shock, hanging down his jaw.

"It's Y/n!" His grip tightened around my shoulder.

"What?!" Everyone yelped in sync which made me flinch.

I didn't notice when and how Jin and Namjoon got here.

"What happened to my little cute chubby Y/n?" Hoseok grabbed my cheeks, pulling them.

I removed his hands, giving a small distanced smile.

"I'm tired." I headed to the entrance.

My eyelids were feeling heavy so I decided to take some rest.

3 hours later.

My sleep was disturbed by whispers and murmuring.

Rubbing my eyes, I sat on the bed.

"Welcome back to home!" Exclaimed the five figures in my room.

Jin was holding a cake in his hand while Hoseok was throwing confetti.

Everyone was excited except Jungkook.

He was standing at the corner of the room, looking at his feet.

"We prepared a welcome party for you. Let's celebrate our little reunion."

Hoseok bounced on his feet, expressing his overflowing excitement.

"I'm sorry but... I'm not feeling too well." I lied, giving an apologetic look.

"But it's my birthday celebration party," Namjoon mumbled.

Jin elbowed him and he shyly smiled, rubbing the side of his neck.

"Uh, you can rest. Let's go, guys!" I sensed the disappointment in their voices.

Jungkook shook his head, and turned to.

There's no harm in joining them, I guess.

"Um, I'll join you guys."

Flipping the blanket, I got up from the bed.

Their faces lit up when they heard me.

Hoseok came to me and holding my hands, he dragged me to the backyard of the house.

The picnic table in the backyard was occupied with the food plates.

Gulping hard, I looked away from the food to resist the urge of eating them.

"Let's dig in." Jin passed the bowl of meat to me.

"So Y/n, why did you left abroad without telling us?" Jin asked before taking a bite.

"Uh, she went to complete her study. She wanted to help me in managing the business. Didn't I tell you that before?"

Jin nodded in understanding when Jungkook replied to him for me.

I raised my brows at Jungkook and he mouthed the word 'please.'

I just ignored him and took a piece of lettuce, eating it.

It has nothing but a plain taste.

The whole time Jungkook was reading my face, Whenever my eyes fell on him, he will look away.

Hoseok and Yoongi went inside the house and came back with the birthday cake and a guitar.

He placed the cake on the table, lighting up the candles while Yoongi played the instrument and everyone started singing the birthday.

I clapped my hands along with them. Namjoon cut the cake and gave each of us a bite.

Yoongi handed the guitar to Jungkook after we settled on our seats.

"For the old time's sake." He urged him to play the instrument.

Effortlessly, strumming the guitar Jungkook started singing.

We were so beautiful
We were so tragic
No other magic could ever compare

Lost myself, seventeen
Then you came, found me
No other magic could ever compare

There's a room
In my heart with the memories we made
Took 'em down but they're still in their frames
There's no way I could ever forget, mmm

For as long as I live and as long as I love
I will never not think about you
You, mmm
I will never not think about you

From the moment I loved, I knew you were the one
And no matter what have I do, ooh, mmm
I will never not think about you

I didn't realize we both were having a staring competition until he stopped singing.

When he sang the first verse of the song, I was startled by his mesmerising voice.

Somehow, I felt he was trying to deliver his feelings through the song.

Clearing my throat, I looked away, avoiding to meet his gaze.

They were busy singing and celebrating while I was sitting there like an invisible person.

Like a shot, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I tried to act like it was nothing but my face was showing a pained look.

Not wanting to ruin the party, I went back to the house without telling them.

Arriving my room, I searched for the pain killer.

My hands and face were getting sweaty. Clutiching my stomach, I reached my hand to the drawer.

My head started spinning and I could hardly breathe because of the intense pain.

The image in front of me turned blurry.

I fell on the floor near the bed losing consciousness.
