Y/n POV:
We came to the location where the reunion party was held.

The hotel was situated in a quiet town.

We were sitting in the car. Jungkook was sitting in the driver's seat, looking out of the side window, tapping on the steering wheel.

His expression hardened, seeing a group of people entering the hotel. They were my seniors who studied with him.

He ran a hand through his hair, getting tense.

I tapped on his shoulder trying to gain his attention, but he didn't respond.

He was lost in his own thoughts. I shook his arm slowly.

He looked at me like a person who just woke up from his sleep.

"Let's go!" Giving a faint smile, I tried to remove the seat belt.

"You can go first. I will go after a while." Nervously, with a smile, he answered.

I stopped unbuckling the seat belt.

My smile disappeared hearing his reply, "But why?"

"Look, no one in our school knows about our marriage except my friends. I think it would be better if we don't let them know about it... for now."

Scratching the back of his neck, nervously, he chuckled after explaining his reason.

I lowered my head, hiding my sadness.

"Are you embarrassed to introduce me to them as your wife?"

He panicked, noticing my eyes, which were flooded with tears.

"No! I don't want you to get bullied because of me. It's just for one day. We can invite all of them to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I promise." Quickly, he explained himself.

He was right. If anyone knows that the school's well known ugly fat nerd married to the most popular boy in our school then they will definitely throw a fit.

I don't care, me getting bullied, but I won't let Jungkook bear all the insults.

He brushed away my tears and I nodded, agreeing with him.

"Y/n!" I heard Hoseok's voice. I turned around to see Jungkook's friends in a corner.

Hoseok jumped to his feet, waving his hands.

Namjoon raised his wine glass, greeting me while Yoongi looked at me with a bored look and raised his hand for a while just to lower it within a second.

Jimin and Jin simply smiled at me.

I saw some of my classmates, giving me weird stares when Hoseok called my name.

Giving a cold shoulder to them, I turned around. I heard Hoseok calling my name again, but I ignored him. I didn't want them to get in trouble because of me.

I sat on a table which was near the corner.

After a few moments, I saw Yuna, giving her entrance like a model.

I was kind of annoyed by her since our last encounter. After all the things she said about Jungkook, how can I forgive her so easily?

I glared at her, but luckily she didn't notice it since her eyes were fixed on somewhere else.

I followed my gaze to hers and noticed her looking at Jimin.

Both of them were stealing glances and secretly smiling at each other.

Is something going between them?

I shrugged it off and I looked around searching for Jungkook.

Where is he?

I turned around and saw Jungkook coming. A smile formed on my face when I saw him. I was hoping for him to look at my direction, but he was glancing at one place.

He seemed tense.

Yuna and Jungkook were staring at each other.

I felt a stab of jealousy when I saw them staring at each other, but shoved it down brutally.

Standing up from the chair, I walked towards him. Before I could reach him, some seniors went to greet him.

Just then I remembered Jungkook's words and went back to my seat. I sipped some orange juice served by the waiter.

Out of nowhere, two girls came and sat beside me.

"You're fatty, right?" Slapping the back of her head, she thought aloud, "Oh, what was your name?"

"Anyways, is that true that you got married to Jeon Jungkook, the heir of Jeon Enterprises?" I almost spat out my drink.

Do they already know about our marriage?

"...How did you know?" Widening my eyes, I asked them, getting worried about Jungkook.

He wanted to hide it, but they already know everything.

"I heard some of our seniors talking about it. Words spread faster than you think." The girl laughed.

I turned my gaze to Jungkook, not caring about what the girl said next.

Seeing the seniors take him with them, made me panic.

I decided to go after them.

I heard the girls calling me by different types of nicknames, but I ignored them, following him.

Jungkook POV:

Some of my seniors brought me up to the terrace of the hotel to talk about something important related to my father's company.

There I saw a man standing back facing me. Slowly he turned around.

Lee Taeyong, my biggest enemy.

Was this the important thing they wanted to talk about?

I turned around to leave, not wanting to stay in one place with that bastard.

"Jeon Jungkook, the heir of Jeon Enterprises. Are you running away in fear?"

I faced him, hearing his annoying voice.

"I don't want to see your disgusting face."

"...what?" Annoyance was clearly shown on his face.

"Should I repeat it once more?" Giving a glare, I asked.

He laughed hilariously.

Stopping his laugh, his expression hardened, "You're still the same arrogant rascal."

"I could tell the same thing to you. I have many important things to do apart from talking to pigs." I scoffed before leaving.

"Says the one who married a pig." Lifting an eyebrow, he smirked.

"What did you say?" Widening my eyes, I asked.

"You think you can hide it from everyone that you're married to the ugliest trash in our school?" His lips curled upward.

Rage overtook me but I couldn't say anything.

The seniors beside me started to laugh; they were mocking me. I felt humiliated.

I swallowed down my frustration lowering my head and stood without saying a word.

"Why? Are you embarrassed because of her? Were you afraid that others will make fun of you for marrying her?" Slowly, he walked towards me wearing a smug face.

"You know what? If I was in your place, I would feel the same. But I wouldn't do such a stupid thing as you did. I would have divorced her a long time ago." He leaned to me, bending to my eye level.

Anger flooded my veins.

My hands squeezed into fists. My knuckles turned white from clenching my fist too hard and I gritted teeth to remain silent.

"I don't know how you even got such a stupid idea of marrying her. I'm really disappointed in you." He patted my left shoulder, wearing his evil smirk on his face.

"Couldn't you find anyone better than that pig?" He laughed while his gang laughed with him.

Every word from him stung only fueling the fire that burned inside of me. Every violated phrase was like gasoline to it, my fists began to clench harder and my jaw rooted.

That's it.

Unclenching my fist, I gave a death glare.

Y/n POV:

Squeezing my eyes shut, I listened to their conversation with tears filling my eyes. Once the first tear broke free, the rest followed in an unbroken stream.

I knew I would get insulted in one way or another.

Still, I came here for the sake of Jungkook. I thought he wouldn't come alone.

I was disappointed in Jungkook. I wanted him to defend me. But he didn't utter a word.

He must be really embarrassed to admit that in front of everyone that we both are married to each other.

I shouldn't have come here in the first place. I don't belong here. I don't belong with these people.

I walked towards the exit. Before I could step out of that place, a group of girls blocked my way.
