Y/n POV:
"Because I love you, god damn it!" His voice was louder than intended.

Jungkook lowered his gaze, noticing the stares of the people around us. He headed towards the car, fastening his walking pace.

My mind was unable to respond to the situation.

Once I got hold of myself, I followed him.

Taking my seat in the front row, I took a glance at him.

No emotion on his face.

The whole journey we didn't talk.

Just as, we entered the house, he went inside the room, locking the door. I rushed to our room and banged on the door until he opened.

"What?!" Carelessly, he asked, placing his hand on the door, not letting me enter the room.

"We need to talk," With a serious tone, I told him.

"Not now," His answer was short.

Not being satisfied with his response, I blocked the door with my feet when he was about to close the door.

"I want to talk...now!" I insisted.

He sighed and let me enter the room.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked, going straight to the point.

"What do you mean?" He mumbled, sitting on the bed, massaging his temples. He seemed irritated with me.

"You said, you love me and now, you're avoiding me." I inched forward, standing right in front of him.

"Just pretend you didn't hear what I said." His voice came out as a whisper.

A huge lump formed in my throat, which resisted me from speaking for a minute.

"... Does that mean you don't love me?"

He stood up from the bed, widening his eyes, "No!"

"Then, do you love me?" I gulped, getting nervous.

I got my answer when his head lowered.

Slowly, he turned around and back faced me, ignoring the question.

I heaved a sigh, getting frustrated, "You don't know your own feelings, Jungkook. I'm tired... I'm tired of waiting for you. I don't think I can do this anymore."

I stared down at my feet and continued, "I think it would be better if we stayed away from each other for a while."

He turned around; his brows drew together.

"What do you mean?" His eyes squinted, studying my face.

Without answering him, I opened the wardrobe to get my clothes. I was putting the clothes into a suitcase but he stopped me by holding my hand.

"What are you doing?" He seemed confused.

Removing his hands from mine, I continued packing, "I'm leaving. I'm tired of you. I can't handle your continuous mood swings."

"Look, don't do this. Give me some time." He stared blankly at my suitcase, hanging his head low.

I shook my head, continuing my work, "I gave you enough time, Jungkook. It has been almost one year since our marriage. I have been waiting for months. But you..."

I choked on my words, feeling a strange pain in my chest.

"... I don't know what's going on in your mind. I need some space. From you and from our relationship. So, please... let me go."

He stepped aside without saying anything. Zipping up the suitcase, I headed to the door.

Before walking out, I turned around and saw Jungkook looking at me with sadness in his eyes, but he didn't try to stop me.

With a sigh, I left him without a word.

3 weeks later.

"Y/n-ah."

I hummed as I was focusing on reading a storybook.

"When will you go back to your house?" I frowned hearing my mother's question.

Adjusting my spectacles, I flipped the pages of the book, taking my frustration on it.

She snatched the book from my hand and I groaned, turning to her, "Mom, why are you trying to chase me away from here?"

"You should go back to your house. Your husband must be waiting for you to return home." I rolled my eyes at what she said.

"As if, he really cares," I mumbled.

"What?" She asked, not hearing what I said.

"Nothing," I chuckled nervously, shaking my head.

If he really cared about me, he would have called me at least once after I left him.

"Did you two have a fight?" Suddenly, my mother asked, to which I panicked.

"What?! No!"

"You're lying, aren't you?" Giving a suspicious look, she asked.

I shook my head, lowering my gaze.

After releasing a deep breath, she continued, "I'm worried about you. You haven't been eating properly. Look, how much weight you lost the past few weeks." She grabbed my cheeks squeezing it.

"I don't know what happened between you two. But both of you're not kids anymore. You should talk and try to sort it out." She sighed before standing up from the couch, leaving me in deep thought.

Maybe he doesn't want me in his life anymore.

I sighed and went to the backyard of the house. I was watering the flowers in the garden area when I heard a horn sound. I went to the front door and saw someone getting out of a car.

Widening my eyes, I stared at the person who was standing in front of me.

Am I dreaming?
