Mike POV

I am standing in Kelly bathroom waiting for her to get the things out for her hair. "You'd already changed in some dry clothes, right?" She looks from under her sink, "No need to answer I can see."

"Where do you want me to wash your hair at?" She bites her lip and do the thinking face, "How about the tub? I lean over the tub and you scrub." She pass all the items to me and knee down by the tub.

"Get to scrubbing boy!!" I roll my eyes and start washing her hair. After a couple minutes of shampooing and conditioning I start to get irritated, "You need to cut your hair! This is ridiculous!" She lets out a loud gasp, "I will not cut my hair! You cut your hair!"

I roll my eyes and continue to wash her hair, "Can you blow dry it?" She looks up at me with puppy dog eyes, "What?! No! You said to only wash it!" She starts pouting even more, "Please?! I don't feel like doing it for myself."

I roll my eyes and let out a long sigh, "Okay fine. Get the blow dryer." She squeals and runs to get the blow dryer. She comes back and sits on the toilet and I plug it in and start blow drying her hair.

She starts humming and I hum along with her. It takes me thirty whole minutes to dry her hair. "I'm never doing that again! I'm going to bed."

"Night Mikey." She jumps in the bed and I close her door and go to my room.

Next Morning

I wake up and head to the bathroom without throwing up. "Michael!! Are you throwing up?!" Kelly is outside my door knocking, I open the door and she has on her work clothes. "No, I'm not throwing up, now get ready." I stick my tongue out at her and close my door.

"That was mean Michael Gavis! I'm going to get you back for that!" She bangs on my door and then leaves.

I go downstairs after ten minutes, Kelly is already down here putting on her shoes. She smiles at me, "I actually miss work and don't forget that you promised we get to look for buildings." We head to the garage and I grab my keys, "I know, I didn't forget."

We head to work and Kelly runs in and gives Brandi a hug, "I missed you, although we saw each other yesterday!!" I walk up to Brandi and she smiles at me, before she could say anything I hold my hand up. "Do not bring yesterday up, if so you can forget about your promotion."

She bites her lip and gives me a smile, "Let's go Kelly. Brandi you can come up and talk to her in an hour or two." She nods her head and Kelly is trying to hold her laughter in.

We make it to the elevator and as soon as we get in and the doors closes, Kelly starts laughing, "Oh My God! You're embarrassed!" I roll my eyes and head to my office, "Can you stop laughing and get some work done? Can you do that at least?"

She laughs and nod her head. She walks towards her office and disappears inside. I go inside my office and get straight to work.

My phones starts ringing after a while, "Hey Michael. Did your mom give you that ruby necklace?" My eyes widen and I look over at Kelly office, "How the hell do you know that Ethan?! Let's not talk about this over the phone. Get over here as soon as possible!"

I hang up and rub my face, "I don't even know how Kelly will react if she finds out." I say to myself. Knock Knock Knock. "Who is it? You know what, just come in."

Stacy comes in and gives me a small smile, "Mr.Gavis, I brought you some papers from the filing office." She sits the papers on my desk and stands in front of my desk and looks at me.

I look up and sigh, "What do you want Stacy?" She starts shifting her on feet and then she looks at me, "Can I get my position back? I promise I won't mess with Kelly anymore." She ask with desperation in her eyes, "No Stacy, you cannot. Brandi is ten times better in that position than you were."

She glares at me, "Sir, not to be rude, but Brandi is unprofessional at the desk." I arch my eyebrow at her and sit back in my seat, "What do you mean unprofessional?" She looks at me as if I'm crazy and scoffs, "Every time your best friend steps foot in this building she attacks him. She throws things at him or she just hits him. And she leaves her desk to come up here to talk to Kelly at random times."

I stand up and walk around my desk, "Since you think you know so much, how about you let me enlighten you? I tell her to not allow my best friend in this building sometimes and I tell her to do whatever she need to do to get rid of him. And I also tell her that she can come up and talk to Kelly at certain times, because me and Kelly are never here for our lunch break." By the end of my talk I am at the door holding it open, she looks at me and tries to talk, but she ends up stuttering.

"I hear no words coming out of your mouth. And Stacy here's a new rule for you, leave Brandi and Kelly both alone. If Brandi comes up to me and tells me that you did something to her or Kelly you won't just be fire, you will also not be able to get another job like this. Do you understand?"

She slowly nods her head and I arch my eyebrow. "Yes sir, I'm sorry." I point to the hallway, "You may leave now." She walks out quickly and I close my door.

Lunch Break

It is now my lunch break and Ethan hasn't showed up yet. "Kelly, come here I want to show you something." She is looking out the window, she comes over and look at the computer, "Do you like this building?"

She looks at it and then smiles, "I love it! Do you know where it is?!" I pull out some papers and hold them out in front of her face, "I already brought the building. I took some pictures of it too." I take out my phone and go to my gallery to show her the building.

She starts smiling from ear to ear, "How much can I buy it off of you?" I roll my eyes and take my phone, "You can have it. I was going to use it for a new business, but I don't have one in mind." She looks at me with wide eyes and then she jumps in my lap and hug me.

"Ah! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much! You are definitely getting a free meal when I open up." I laugh and hug her back, I let out a long sigh, "Kelly, how will you feel when we end our little deal?"

She looks up at me and then back at her hands, "I will feel guilty for a little while, but I'm already preparing myself for when it comes to that day." I give her a tight smile and spin in the chair.

I stop spinning and she looks at me, "What was Stacy doing up here?" I roll my eyes, "She came up here to beg for her position back and to snitch on Brandi." She gets up off my lap and laughs, "She doesn't know when to give up, do she?"

I shake my head no, she looks at me and give me a soft smile, "Don't forget when I get my restaurant open, you get a free meal. And your future family gets one." She walks in her office and close the door.

I look at my watch and suck my teeth, "Where the hell is Ethan?!" My door bust open, "I'm right here! I was downstairs talking to Brandi." I roll my eyes and signal him to close the door.

He close the door and sit in front of me. "How did you know that my mom gave me a necklace to give to Kelly?" He sits back in his chair and shrug his shoulders, "Kimmy told me. I asked her about the bracelet she had on and she told me she got it from your grandmother and then she went on and told me about the necklace."

I sit back and sigh in frustration, "Kelly, will have a fit if she finds out that my mom gave her a ruby necklace. What am I supposed to do?" He looks at me and smile, "Make it real. Y'all already act like a real couple, just ask her to be your girlfriend for real."

I stare at him for a whole minute, "I do not have any feelings for her. How many times do I have to tell you that? I don't even know why I even bother with you." He rolls his eyes, "Well, you're going to have to tell her one way or another."

I rub my face and sit back in my seat. "I'll do whatever comes up. Anyway, how is it living with Brandi?" I smirk and he gives me the finger, "It's good, for some reason she reminds me of Kelly sometimes. Always smiling and laughing. She hates spending a lot of money, I had to tease her to get all the things she wants and needs."

I snap my fingers, "Yep! That's Kelly best friend for you."

He lets out a soft laugh, "I really care about both of them. I don't know what I would do if something bad happen to either one of them." All seriousness is in his voice and eyes, "We will both be in prison for killing the people that hurt them."

He laughs and stands up and stretch, "You're not lying about that."

Kelly office door busts open and she runs out and jumps in Ethan arms, "Hey Ethan!" He catches her with ease and smile, "Hey Sunshine! Still working for this bum of a man?"

I arch my eyebrow and she looks at me, "Yes, I'm still working with him and he is not a bum, he's adorable." He looks at her confusingly and then he laughs, "Brandi showed me the video as soon as she came home yesterday. Dude, you were acting like a kid!"

I give him the finger and him and Kelly starts laughing louder, Brandi comes in out of nowhere, "I want to laugh! What's so funny?! Don't leave me out!" I give her a playfull glare and she gives me a smile, "The video you showed me yesterday."

She looks at Ethan and then at me to see if I was upset. She starts laughing, "You won't supposed to say anything." She hits him and tries to hold in her laughter, Ethan raises his hands in surrender, "Kelly brought it up by calling him adorable."

Brandi mouth drops open and seconds later she starts laughing. I clear my throat, "I'm glad you all think it's funny, but me and Kelly are leaving and you and Ethan are leaving." They all look at me confused, I roll my eyes, "Go home! Y'all really have your slow moments!"

Brandi and Ethan runs out without a second word. Kelly go to grab her things.

"I'm not the adorable one! Kelly and Brandi are the adorable ones! Ethan is the ugly one and I'm the handsome and good looking one!" I yell out to them as they all leave, they all start laughing and I wait for Kelly at my office door.

She looks at me and smile, "At least I'm adorable."
