"SO... YOUR PARTNER FOR THE PROJECT is Todoroki? Your own boyfriend?" Mina asked as the both of you walked to the cafeteria, strawberry milk in your hand as you sipped before you replied to her.

"Correct." You said as a matter-of-fact, and she made a disgusted face at your reply, making you furrow your brows at her reaction. "What?"

"Ew. The photographs better not include you in the picture or some corny shit."

This time, it was your turn for your face to express disgust as you cringed at the thought.

"No way! Besides, I don't think Todoroki is that thoughtful when it comes to romantic stuffs..." Lie.

Even though he was way too innocent for your liking, he did his best even as your "fake boyfriend." He was very observant about the things that you liked, and he was cautious with his actions and always asked for your consent first.

It was the bare minimum, but to you, he was way too lovely for a fake boyfriend in a fake relationship. It's no wonder why a lot of people were head over heels for him.

And you were lucky enough to even be this close with Todoroki.

Once you and Mina had food in hand, the two of you sat at Midoriya's table, as he invited the both of you to take a seat at their table.

You sat in front of Todoroki and Mina was beside you as you started to eat.

"Where do you plan on going for the project given, Iida?" Midoriya started a conversation.

"Well... my partner and I had been planning to just go somewhere near, so that it wouldn't be that troublesome." Iida replied, chewing on his food.

"Oh! Then, how about you, Todoroki?" Midoriya suddenly asked Todoroki, which made everyone, including you, stare at him.

He eyed you before he looked at Midoriya again, before his gaze turned to you again as he replied. "Well... it depends on what my partner has in mind..."

The sentence was simple and purely innocent, so why was your heart beating so fast? Were you just overthinking, or does it actually mean something else?

It was most probably the former.

"Ah, right! Your partner for this project is (Name), right?"

"Mhm," He said, still keeping eye contact with you.

At this point you had to bow your head, acting like you were busy eating but all you wanted to do was avoid his intense gaze on you. Even though you weren't staring back anymore, you could still feel him looking at you.

"Then, since (Name)'s your partner and lover, isn't it like a date already, too?" Midoriya innocently asked.

"Ohhh, you're onto something, Midoriya! They might actually go on a date while doing the project! Right, Todoroki?" Mina went along with him, but you knew that she was teasing you as you mentally facepalmed.

You closed your eyes in disappointment, not wanting to hear what Todoroki has to say out of embarrassment.

"Ah, you're right. Thanks for the suggestion, Mina..."

Your eyes shut open at what Todoroki replied, making sure if what you heard was actually right.

"What...?" You spoke, hesitant.

"Oh, sorry. I should have asked for your permission first. Do you not want that?" He apologized, looking at you.

That was not what you meant at all!

"No! I mean, I don't mind. I was just surprised, that's all... I don't mind going on a date with you at the same time." You heard Mina laugh at what you said.

"Ah, is that so?" He continued. "That's good to hear." He gave you a small smile at what you said.
