A pained scream pierced through the thickened tension in the basement as Bogum fell to his knees, his wounded leg not being able to support his weight.

All eyes fell on the intruder who was standing at the Main entrance of the basement with a smug look etched out on his face, Min Yoongi has always been the one to have Jungkook's back and he never disappoints, Never.

The sound of the gunshot and smell were overwhelming as Taehyung's legs were rooted to the ground, His eyes watching Bogum as he the latter squirmed In pain.

Jungkook's hands gripped an Obviously Dazed Taehyung's arm as he pulled the younger into his embrace.
Jungkook's inhaled Taehyung's heavenly scent as Taehyung buried his face into Jungkook's chest, His hands clutching Jungkook's Black shirt tightly.

Jungkook felt like Home and Taehyung never wants to be Taken away from Jungkook ever again, Tears pooled Taehyung's eyes and made their way down his cheeks as Jungkook cupped His face and pressed their lips together in a short, sweet kiss.

Taehyung was ecstatic to see Jungkook's face again and I thanked his lucky stars  that he fell in love with someone who'll rip the world apart just to reunite with him, Jungkook was everything Taehyung has ever wanted and more.

While the two lovers were reuniting and embracing each other, Yoongi and Kai held Bogum captive.
Yoongi's fist met The side of Bogum's face as the latter groaned but still couldn't believe the game fate played on him.

He couldn't believe how Starcrossed his plans were, How could Jungkook find out about his secret hideout so effortlessly?

❝How did you-❞

❝-Find this place?❞
Yoongi completed the sentence for Bogum as a Mocking laugh escaped his lips.

❝Betrayal, You have a Traitor.❞
Jungkook rasped, eyes raking over Bogum's defeated figure.

Bogum felt his insides Crumble, Jungkook won because someone he held close failed him, Betrayal pains more than the Triumphant smirk gracing Jungkook's face.

Frantic steps boomed throughout the Basement as a Silhouette of a man came into view, The Tall man's handsome face was etched with panic and worry as his eyes darted across the room and pooled with relief once they fell upon Park Bogum.

Taehyung's eyes widened in recognition as his eyes fell upon the intruder,
A beautiful smile broke out on the tall man's face as he took hesitant steps towards Taehyung.

Jungkook didn't allow the tha man come any closer to his boyfriend, A wave of protectiveness washing over the the his alert self, He couldn't allow someone else to harm Taehyung.

❝Chanyeol?❞
Taehyung questioned, tilting his head out of confusion.

❝Taehyung!❞
Chanyeol's voice was devoid of confusion or suprise but was rather filled with adoration and respect for the younger boy.

❝Great, Another Half-Baked Muffin!❞
Yoongi snarled making everyone else look at him weirdly.

❝Who the Fuck are you?❞
Jungkook asked, not really interested in the answer.

❝I'm Bogum's brother.❞
Chanyeol said making Taehyung gasp but everybody else was indifferent.

❝Chan, One of those Bastards betrayed us, I'll fucking massacre their fam-❞
Bogum proclaimed but was cut off by a astonishing revelation.

❝I did, I gave them the tip.❞
Chanyeol said making the tense environment shift into one of suprise and confusion.

❝W-what?❞
Bogum's heart sunk to his stomach as An amused smile ghosted Jungkook's lips.

❝Life's full of surprises, isn't it?❞
Yoongi mumbled, feeling pity for Bogum as the pain of Betrayal isn't something he wished upon anyone.

Sensing the obvious question bubbling inside all the people present in the estranged basement, Bogum decided to break the ice and get to the point.

❝Taehyung saved my life.❞
Gasps flooded the room as Everyone except the Taehyung was taken aback by Chanyeol's words.

The pain in Bogum's leg subsided as pure shock surged through his veins.
Jungkook was intrigued and Yoongi and Kai were flabbergasted upon hearing Chanyeol's straightforward statement.

❝He..Stopped me from committing S-Suicide.❞
Chanyeol's voice was uncertain as it was hard for him to unlock memories he wanted to bury deep under and forget.

The basement was eerily silent, The sounds of intake of ragged breaths was echoing throughout the room as Nobody knew how to react to such a personal declaration.

❝It was a warm afternoon, somewhere in the month of July, Two years ago.
I was standing on the city bridge, eager to jump and leave all the pain and miseries that were eating me up behind, as I stepped upon the steel railing and was about to loose my footing, Somebody back hugged me, pulling me towards the road adorning the bridge.❞
Chanyeol began to explain, trying not to relieve the heart breaking moment.

❝At first I was livid, I had finally mustered up the courage to Jump and was obstructed but then I noticed the tears in Taehyung's eyes and was astounded.
A mere stranger was crying for me, somebody took the initiative to stop me from ending my life, Eventhough that wouldn't have affected their's in anyway.❞
Chanyeol continued and nobody dared to interrupt.

❝I still remember what you told me Tae, Pain never ceases to exist, It just passes from one person to another, Sucide never ends pain.
This mere stranger sat with me the whole night till the time I promised him that I would fight for myself and not give in to pain.❞
Chanyeol gulped, that day was both the best and worst of his life.

❝He urged me to fight me for my own Happiness, to save myself.
You deserve An happy Ending, Chanyeol.
You're a fighter.
I got the term 'fighter' tattooed on my body, the day I finally achieved happiness and I remember praying to the heavens for Taehyung's health and safety, He's truely an Angel.❞

❝How could I look away when the one who saved my life is in grave danger?❞
Chanyeol's question boomed throughout the basement but not one soul knew the answer.

❝Eventhough, I aided Jungkook in his search for you, I'll never be able to repay your dept, I'm standing in front you all because of Taehyung and I'll never be able to Express my gratitude through words.❞
Chanyeol said, voice dripping with utter honesty and eyes pooling with gratitude.

❝We're family.❞
Bogum rasped out not having any other argument.

❝We might share the same Bloodline but Taehyung gave me a reason to live, He restored my faith in humanity and myself, I owe Kim Taehyung my life.❞
Chanyeol finished voice determined and eyes bloodshot, trying not to cry.

Bogum looked utterly defeated as his head hung low, Jungkook gave Chanyeol a nod of acknowledgment but his dark eyes conveyed his gratitude to the other tall man.

Jungkook took powerful strides towards the wounded Bogum, His combat boots colliding with the worn out pavement in a unintended rhythm.
He stood right in front of Bogum before pressing his metallic gun against the defeated man's temple.

❝One day, I will win from you.❞
Bogum rasped out, predicting his end, he was helpless and hopeless.

❝Maybe in another Lifetime, huh?❞
Jungkook whispered, his fingers pulling the trigger as Bogum closed his eyes tightly, Awaiting death.

-But the sound of Gunshot was never heard.

Everybody was rooted to the ground, A perplexed expression gracing their faces as A bullet never left Jungkook's gun and Bogum was still very much breathing.

Bogum was stunned to the core and frantically met Jungkook's eyes, Confused but relieved.
He couldn't fathom why he was still breathing and not rotting away in the pits of hell.

❝Why so serious?❞
Jungkook's voice rang through the pin drop silent room making everybody drown deeper in the pool of confusion.

Bogum couldn't decipher the meaning behind Jungkook's random sentence,
Jungkook was never the one to show mercy and specially to Bogum.

❝Change of Heart?❞
Bogum asked, trying not to let his gratitude sweep through because he might be scared shitless but he wouldn't die prideless.

❝Don't make me regret this, Park.❞
Jungkook snarled, his voice strong and determined before walking towards Taehyung.

Taehyung intertwined his hands with Jungkook's and they both walked out of the basement hand in hand,
Jungkook's men had already overpowered the rival gang but that wasn't a suprise to anyone.

Bogum's plan was balanced merely on Jungkook's inability to find the secret hideout and give in to the ransom,
He underestimated his enemy and overestimated his luck and that led to his obvious downfall.

Somewhere along the way, Taehyung taught Jungkook the art of Forgiveness.
Taehyung and Jungkook complete each other and they wouldn't have it any other way.

❝You've gone soft, Jeon.❞
Taehyung teased but Jungkook didn't want to engage in his playful banter.

Jungkook pressed Taehyung against his car and smashed their lips together, wanting to feel that rush and desire again, Jungkook craved Taehyung like a drug and even a few hours without him felt like long, mundane years.

They kissed each other passionately, wanting to spend their whole life in this mere moment of love and Desire.
It's rare to encounter the love of your life amidst this toxic society but Jungkook and Taehyung have definitely been blessed by the heavens.

❝I love you soo fucking much.❞
Jungkook breathed out, littering Taehyung's golden skin with a bouquet of red hickeys.

❝You're Mine, Petal.❞
Jungkook growled, sinking his teeth into Taehyung's soft flesh inciting  whimpers and moans from the younger.

❝Forever?❞
Taehyung whispered, placing his forehead on Jungkook's temple.

Jungkook stared at Taehyung's outstretched pinky with adoration, Love pooled his eyes as his heart swelled with happiness.

❝Forever.❞
Jungkook intertwined their fingers together just like their fates.

Fireworks erupted inside their hearts as their lips moved in a synchronized rhythm and molded against each other, perfectly.

❝I love you, I love you, I love you.❞
Taehyung chanted in reply to Jungkook's earlier confession.

Destiny works in mysterious ways,
Who would have though that these polar opposite souls would be so compatible and similar?

Jungkook and Taehyung's souls are made up of the same stardust and their story is written somewhere amongst the twinkling stars.

Everybody beautiful heart deserves love and healing, Jungkook found his cure in Taehyung, They are puzzle pieces that fit just perfectly with each other.

Come what may but Love always reigns superior, So many wars can be conquered with a little bit of love.
Jungkook and Taehyung found solace in each and other and would fight for their forver, always.

It'll always be Jungkook and Taehyung till the very End.

The chapters remaing are numbered and I'll have a really hard time parting with his book, the emotional connect I have with this story is insane and I'll really miss writing this but this one isn't the last chapter :)
