Taehyung flinched as he saw Hoseok inching closer to Jungkook's body.
He forced his eyes to stay open and pushed the idea of crying to the back of his head when he witnessed Hoseok pushing his lips against Jungkook.

Jungkook had two alternatives, he could either push Hoseok away and break his heart or pull Hoseok closer and break Taehyung's heart.

The second Jungkook felt Hoseok's lips on his own, his blood boiled out of repulsion and disgust.
He grabbed Hoseok's shoulders and pushed him away from his body, eyes seething.

-And in that millisecond, Taehyung won.

Jungkook and Taehyung's love won.

A proud smile erupted across Taehyung's lips, if Jungkook pushed an extremely attractive man away, knowing that nobody is watching means that he really does love Taehyung to the moon and back.

Not that Taehyung wasn't sure of the outcome from the very start, he knew that his Jungkook wouldn't cheat on him for the world.

Jungkook pushed Hoseok forcefully, making the latter loose his balance and fall to the ground.

❝What the fuck was that? Why'd you kiss me? Are you Crazy?❞
Jungkook shouted, hands running through his Raven locks, frustratedly.

❝I kissed you because I love you, I'm crazy because I love you!❞
Hoseok yelled, pulling at his own honey brown hair.

Jungkook was at a loss of words but he still had a whole lot to say.

❝No! You don't love me, you love the idea of me.❞
Jungkook stated, making Hoseok eyes snap upwards out of sheer anger.

❝You don't get to dictate what I feel towards you.❞
Hoseok growled out, livid.

❝You're not in love with me, you're in love with the idea of the Vulnerable teenager who longed for your comfort and security but the version of Jungkook you're in love with isn't alive anymore.
He's long dead.❞

❝Shutup! After all the things I've done for you, this is how you repay me?❞
Hoseok shouted, involuntary tears falling from his brown eyes.

❝You shouldn't have wasted so many years waiting for me to come back.
Were you living your life waiting for me to realize, I can't live mine without your presence?
What kind of fuckery is that?❞
Jungkook shouted, irritated.

❝You're still just as Naive, you don't understand how love works.❞
Hoseok mocked, a humorless chuckle escaping his lips.

❝Trust me, I've understood and experienced love very well.❞
Jungkook said, mind filling with the thoughts of Taehyung.

❝Love is supposed to build up not tear down, Love isn't supposed to hurt and look at yourself, you're suffering badly.
Is it really love or a mere want?❞
Jungkook questioned.

❝I'll never be able to repay you for the kindness you've shown me, the security and memories you've provided me with but you're not the one I love.❞
Jungkook stated, gaze apologetic.

Tears ran down Hoseok's eyes as his heart broke into countless pieces, each one stabbing his body repeatedly.

Taehyung felt his heart ache for Hoseok, unrequited love is one hell of a poison.

Taehyung came out of his ambush and made his presence known to Hoseok and Jungkook.
As soon as Jungkook's eyes fell upon Taehyung's emerging figure they widened.

❝Baby, I'm sorr-❞
Jungkook started, cupping Taehyung's face in his big hands.

❝It's not your fault, I saw and head everything, I'm proud of you.❞
Taehyung stated before Turning his attention back to Hoseok's heartbroken figure.

❝Love is sacrifice.❞
Taehyung stated, smiling gently at Hoseok.

❝I wouldn't question your love for Jungkook, it's not my place but if you love Jungkook, then Let him go.❞
Taehyung wiped Hoseok's tears away, hoping to provide the latter some comfort.

❝It's not that easy. ❞
Hoseok stated, a humorless chuckle escaping his lips.

❝it's slowly killing you, you don't deserve to die at the hands of love.❞
Taehyung said, lifting Hoseok off the ground.

❝There is somebody out there who's waiting for you, who's searching for you, someone who's made for you. ❞
Jungkook said, offering Hoseok a gentle smile.

❝-But that someone isn't me.❞

Heart wrenching sobs escaped Hoseok's lips as the pain of the heartbreak kicked in, he always knew that he didn't stand a chance with Jungkook, that Jungkook was a distant dream but Love drives you to the edge of cliff and doesn't let you jump even if you beg for release.

❝I've lived theses past years thinking of you and only you, I don't have anything left to live for!❞
Hoseok yelled, sobbing louder.

❝That's a lie that you're telling yourself, there Is so much more left to live for.
If you allow your heart to move on, it'll find another light to live.❞
Taehyung said, trying to console Hoseok's broken heart.

❝-And even if you don't find someone new, you'll find yourself and that's all that matters.❞
Taehyung finished, offering Hoseok one of the most genuine smile the latter had ever witnessed.

The epiphany crashed down on Hoseok, that in the chase of having Jungkook for himself, he turned into a selfish, obsessive person who doesn't know how to separate rational needs from irrational wants.

He's now thinking unbiasedly and realizing that all his attempts were fruitless and futile and he didn't gain Jungkook's love rather lost his childhood bestfriend in the way.

-And even if he would have managed to make Taehyung break up with Jungkook, would he himself be satisfied with somebody who only has half a heart to offer to him?

Blinded by love and want Hoseok did and said many things that do not reflect his inherit nature and doesn't define who he is from within, maybe be someday all his sins would be forgiven and this sudden regret and guilt he's feeling would evaporate.

❝You really are an Angel.❞
Hoseok mumbled, absentmindedly.

❝Now, I understand why he loves you.
Such a pure soul is definitely impossible to hate.❞
Hoseok said, tears drying.

❝Why are you being so Kind despite the crude and offensive things I said and did to you and your relationship?❞
Hoseok asked, genuinely confused by the empathetic behavior.

❝I feel like you're loosing faith in humanity, I just want to be the reason someone believes in good people.❞
Taehyung said, eyes gleaming with Honesty.

Hoseok was at a loss of words, never had he encountered somebody so unbelievably kind and pure and to think he wanted to ruin this Angel's life.

Hoseok would live with this guilt for quite a while but maybe someday he'll learn to forgive others and more importantly learn to forgive himself.

❝I wish you the very best.❞
Hoseok said, walking towards the exit of the secluded room.

❝Hoseok! Love will find you!❞
Taehyung yelled at Hoseok's retreating
Figure making Hoseok stop dead in his tracks.

Hoseok looked over his shoulders and passed Taehyung a playful wink before exiting both the club and Jungkook's life for better.

Forgetting love isn't a simple task but someday Hoseok will Listen to Jungkook's name and not smile, someday Hoseok would look at Jungkook's face at not feel the urge to kiss him, Hoseok quite frankly isn't searching for somebody new but rather going on a quest to discover his purpose.

He genuinely wishes Jungkook and Taehyung everything beautiful the world has to offer.

❝I think we put somebody on the path of redemption today.❞
Taehyung commented, pecking Jungkook's cheek.

Jungkook back hugged Taehyung, resting his chin on Taehyung's shoulder.

❝I really hope he finds genuine reasons to smile, he forces too many of them.❞
Jungkook stated, scrunching his nose up.

❝A little bit of Love heals everybody.❞

I think Hoseok's fictional Character has a lot of room for self growth and character development and I'm sure he'll achieve both love and self acceptance.
