You stand there on the same shed you first met the guy you ever so cherish. His eyes not leaving your face as the wind blows some strand of your hair.

"Aren't you going home?" You ask as you grow awkward with the silence.

The silence between you stretched and the red headed boy was never awkward before but right now, you don't know what changed inside you as you now became more conscious of your being.

"I need to make sure you go home first." He says.

You smile. You always appreciate Taehyung's sweet gestures towards you that sometimes you feel your insides tingle and melt.

"My father is running a bit late today." You rub your palm on your pants.

"I can see." Taehyung nods and tucks a bit of your hair behind your ear and you almost retreat from his touch when you felt tingling sensation on the spot his finger touched.

And soon, you hear an engine park just near where you are. The familiar roaring made you turn your head to the direction it came from.

"Dad." You mumbled and you felt Taehyung's hand crept into yours.

You hear running footsteps and the both of you stood up from your seat, patiently waiting for your father.

Your father rushes to you, his eyes not leaving the face of his beautiful daughter that he didn't notice the red headed boy beside you. The time he only did was when he notice a hand linked to yours. His eyes trailing it to see the owner and he sees a beautiful man standing next to you.

No doubt, your father was a bit intimidated by Kim Taehyung. As Taehyung's eyes doesn't show anything, just a stoic facade and your father didn't want to judge but he doesn't really like the red dye in Taehyung's hair.

But he was your father and you are his daughter. He needs to protect you from anyone, specially with your condition. So without hesitation, he comes near you and kisses your head, eyes meeting with Taehyung's.

"I'm sorry you had to wait that long, princess." He apologized.

You smiled. Happy because of the warmth you feel everytime your father was right next to you. "Its okay. Kim Taehyung is here to keep me company anyways."

"Kim Taehyung?" Your father's eyes strained on Kim Taehyung's as the red headed boy smiled respectfully and for the first time, your father saw an emotion on Taehyung's face.

"Yes, I told you about him before." You say.

Your father gazes at you as he nod. A teasing smile creep into his face. "Ah, Jungkook's friend?"

"Yeah." You nod innocently.

"Which is now your friend?" Your father continues.

And a blush slowly rises on your cheeks as you sense your father teasing you. "Yes." You answer.

Your father nods. "Mhm." He hums.

"He's also the one who told me that I shouldn't be ashamed of my condition." You remembered your conversation with your dad a long time ago when he said he would want to meet Kim Taehyung.

Now, it's their chance to know each other and to let your father know how Kim Taehyung was so special to you.

"Oh, you're that guy!" He turned to the red headed boy, a bright smile plastered to his face.

"Yes, sir." Kim Taehyung replied respectfully with a shy smile.

"Thank you for telling my daughter that, otherwise I wouldn't see her eyes that I love so much." Your father says as he throw you a glance and you smile.

"I love her eyes too and I would do anything just to see it." Kim Taehyung blurted out that made you and your father silenced.

Your cheeks slowly flaming as you try to take away your hand from Taehyung's grasp but he only tightens his grip, not shying away from your father's presence.

And your father sees it, his eyes watch how the boy held your hands tightly, how the boy doesn't want to let your hand go. How Kim Taehyung held you like you were his world. And your father smiled knowingly.

Kim Taehyung wasn't just a friend and he wasn't one to put barriers between you and the red headed boy.

He saw how the boy next to you changed your life. He knew how Taehyung made you happy and bloom like a normal girl should have. He saw how hope slowly peek out your heart when you started to believe the red headed boy.

He wanted you to be always like this so he accepted the red headed boy into both of your lives even though he disliked the red dye, he'll only have to tell the red headed boy to dye it brown anyways.

Your father scoff as he smile warmly to the boy. "Why don't you invite your friend for dinner?" He tells you not leaving the boy's gaze.
