Mikaela: One of my favorite people has agreed to do an interview for you.

Colton: It was more like coerced.

M: Colton, everybody... *Whispers* I'm serious, Colton. Behave.

C: And if I don't?

M: *Glares* First question; do you still love Vienna even after finding out she's a rebel? (@Brownyflower)

C: Straight to the point, huh?

M *shrugs*

C: Unfortunately, I do. Love just doesn't vanish in a second. Falling for her was one of the weakest things I've ever allowed myself to succumb to. I became weak because of her.

M: Was it love then at first sight? (@syedtalha99)

C: Almost. From the night we met, I knew I was probably in love with her. Her personality, her shyness but yet straightforwardness when she spoke, everything about her entranced me.

M: Switching gears here...Iris. What are your feelings toward her? Is it hate? (@Vivi_nerd)

C: We have to talk about her? Don't you have better things to do with your life? Like updating your werewolf book?

M: How do you know about that book?

C: *Stares up at the ceiling*

M: Do you read it?

C: Perhaps.

M: Colton Blackwood reads my book? I think I'm Expired.

C: If you ask me, Addy should have dumped Hanna in a ditch a long time ago. I couldn't handle her constant optimism.

M: Stop avoiding the question.

C: *sighs* I don't know. Iris annoys the hell out of me. The whole Society would be better off without her. But bickering with her takes my mind off other stuff.

M: So how do you feel about people shipping you two together?

C: Pardon you? Is Iris at the head of this?

M: I think she's the captain of the anti-ship, though if there was something for friend "ships" she'd be the captain of your two's ship.

C: And hers and Erik's...

M: Well did you ever think you liked her? (@xx_Victoriav_xx)

C: No.

M: Okay then...What was your childhood like? (@SyennaMashmasarmi)

C: Strict. There was a lot of studying. If we were to take over around our twentieth birthdays', we had to be ready. Once Jonas turned twenty-one, we started to take our spots. As I grew older I was allowed to travel over the world with my father and Jonas to attend meetings with him. It was almost like an apprenticeship.

M: Were you, Erik, and Jonas close? (@SyennaMashmasarmi)

C: With Erik, closer than we are now, but we were hardly ever close. Erik was similar to the rest of us until he got older. I used to be really close with Jonas, but that was only for a few years and we were both young.

M: When did you find out about the Amoris? (@SyennaMashmasarmi)

C: I've kind of always known about them. I grew up with them. Some of them are even friends of mine that are my age. I guess I haven't always known they were different. I didn't think there was anything abnormal about them. My mother explained it all to me when I was six.

M: "Do you consider yourself to be a good person?" (@undoubtful)

C: No, but I don't see myself as a bad one either. Is it bad to protect your family from something that could destroy it? My goal is to keep the Society together. It's my duty. My father was the former Preeminence. There's a lot of weight dropped onto my shoulders. And yet, what can I do, when my brother is my superior, and the person he loves could be who breaks my family?

M: Let's say hypothetically speaking, Jonas was Expired or even became Expired but lived, so like Iris. What would you do? (@moonlight0o)

C: I—I don't know.

M: Why can't you just understand that Vienna loves you? (@claarisseea)

C: Because try finding out that the love of your life is trying to destroy your family. It seems like she's just overflowing with love for me.

M: Will you be falling for another girl? (@cwatnip)

C: No, never again. I'd rather be in a loveless marriage than be betrayed like that again.

M: "How long will you wait before going after Vienna?" Would you choose her over the Society? (@IReadWattYouWatt)

C: I'm going to try to meet her, but it's to properly end things. I wouldn't choose her over the Society. I am bound to them. When I became Beta, I vowed to put them before all else.

M: "What made you such a cold and brutal person?" (@WhippedandBound)

C: One thing was seeing my mother bleeding from a bullet given to her by a rebel. My mother is the opposite of cold and brutal, so to see someone that kind and caring, hurt by the people who want to take the country away from their oppressive leaders, I realized how much of hypocrites they were, and I would make them pay for the pain they caused my mother and my family for years.

M: "Describe the night you and Vienna met: how did you feel? What was happening? What did she look like?" (@werdette)

C: Mikaela has completely invaded my privacy and wrote a short story about that night and my emotions. It's called Before Colton Met Iris. I'm not sure I approve of the title. If you're interested it's located between Expiration Date and Expired. You can also find the short story about my mother being shot...on Mother's Day. And Mikaela just keeps on invading my family's privacy...

M: Stop talking bad about me. I thought we were best friends.

C: Careful, Iris might use her ninja moves on you for saying that.

M: Why do you dislike her? (@Lamchopisawsome)

C: She annoys me. She's Expired. Her secret being revealed would make us look weak to the rest of the world if they know we aren't always right even though it was just this one time. There would be wars, more rebels, chaos, revolts. Because of her the country could fall apart. And she annoys me.

M: @Annagamergirl9 asked if you can be her brother.

C: As deeply flattered as I am, I am even more disturbed by your offer. Jonas and Gwen are enough.

M: "What would you do if the person you love is Expired?" (@Aims_TheAwesome)

C: I supposed I'd have to kill them.

M: "When will you get a heart?" (@Pushing_People)

C: I have a heart, I just decide when to use it or not.

M: @TheDepressedWave asked you if you know you're amazing.

C: Well thank you, but I assure you, I am not.

M: So humble. She also asked why you hated Iris so much. Didn't you want your brother to be happy?

C: I want him to be happy, but I want him to put the Society first. Him running after a girl whose existence defies the Society isn't very admirable.

M: "What did you think of Iris when you first saw her?" (@Crispy_Chan)

C: Is this considered a spoiler?

M: Yes, and if you say anything you won't get a happy ending.
