EVELINE KNIGHT

It has been three years now since I gave birth to my beautiful angel. Everything has been so perfect. Our lives are going great. Rose too gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Her name is Catherine and she is really pretty. If you guys are wondering about Cass. Then let me tell you, she too got married to Evan. But baby, it's a hell no from Cass. She loves to play with Damien. Anna and Aiden got settled in Italy. And talking about Scott, well he has found a girlfriend for himself. I don't know how long it will last? I haven't seen Maddison since that day and I am really happy for that.

Speaking about Damien, he is really smart and intelligent, more than what a three year child should be. And one more thing he hates Scott. Once when I had taken him to my office. Scott came to talk to me and Xander was glaring at Scott while talking to Blake. I think  my little baby saw his Daddy'd reaction and what he did after that shocked everyone. He was playing with a bottle in his hand I don't know how it opened but he threw, like literally threw the whole water on Scott. Cass burst out in laughter and Xander too joined her. I looked at them in disbelief.

When we came back home I scolded both of them but my scolding does not affect them at all. Xander kept laughing and with him Damien too.

Coming to Xander, he takes care of us so well. Damien loves his father but he loves me more. Xander always gets irritated when I spend all my time with Damien and does not give him anytime. He starts whining like a kid and starts ignoring me. He very well know that I will go to him to convince him. So here I am handling two kids. I won't say that I don't act like kid. I too do sometimes, it's fun to cause Xander trouble. Me and Damien, we both get angry at him then Xander gets all irritated and gives us our favourite thing.

Any guesses?

Chocolates!!

Yep! Damien is just like me. He too loves to eat chocolates and Xander hates that habit of his. He always scolds Damien for this then Damien starts crying and comes to me signalling me from his hands to scold Daddy and I start scolding Daddy and Damien starts clapping his hands laughing.

I was now standing near the balcony thinking about the change in my life that has occurred in the past few years. Xander was sleeping and Cass took Damien early in the morning. She said she will drop him back in the evening. I felt hands wrapping around my waist. Xander's chin rested on my shoulder.

"What are you thinking love?" he asked.

I shook my head "Nothing. The wind feels so good."

"It does."

"These all feels like a dream Xander. Everything happening is just so amazing. The life that I have always wished for."

"I won't say that I don't feel the same way. To me also this all feels like a dream. The life I have never imagined."

"I hope everything remains like this. If this is a dream I don't want to wake up ever."

"You can't even imagine Ev, how much you and Damien mean to me. You know I thought in this whole world there is just one smile that can make me do anything and that was yours but now I have two smiles to die for."

I rested my head on his shoulder. "Where is Damien?" Xander asked.

"Cass took him with her, she told she'll bring him back by the evening."

Within seconds he turned me around and crashed his lips against mine. I was at first shocked by his sudden action then wrapped my arms around his neck and started kissing him back. The kiss started getting more steamy. Finally when I was out of breath I pulled away.

We both were breathing heavily. "I can't control anymore Ev." Xander said and picked me up in his arms and carried me to the bed. He laid me down and got on top of me. His eyes were filled with desire. I bit my lips. He again started kissing me hungrily. Like he was kissing me after years then he pulled away from the kiss and removed some strands of the hair from my face and kissed my forehead then his lips came down to my nose, he kissed my nose then my cheek, then he bit my earlobe making me moan. I could feel him smirk. He then whispered in my ears "God! It has been so freakin' long since we last had sex. I am craving for you Eveline." That was all in a snap of a moment he made me sit up, taking off my dress he threw in somewhere on the floor leaving me naked. I too started unbuttoning his shirt with our lips connected with each other.

Finally when he was shirtless I pulled away to see the sight in front of me. It's nothing I have never seen before but whenever I look at those abs, shoulders, chest it makes me lure upon them more and more. I licked my lips looking at him. He smirked and pulled me to him. Now he was the one lying down and I was on top of him. Then he said "They are all yours baby." I smiled then traced my fingers over his chest, then to his abs. he closed his eyes enjoying my touches. I bent down and started leaving kisses on his jaw then my lips moved to his neck I sucked there making him groan in pleasure. I further went down sucking on his chest then on his abs. When my mouth was moving further down he held my hair and pulled me up "Not so soon baby." I bit my lip.

In seconds our position changed now again he was on top of me he looked at my naked body and licked his lips "I am not letting you get up until the evening."

In the evening, I finally managed to open my eyes. I saw beside me to see Xander sleeping peacefully. I feel sore, I don't even remember for how many rounds we went. Everytime I fell asleep he used to wake me up and we used to go for another round. We both were lying on the bed naked, with just the blanket covering both of us. I looked at the time to see it was already 6:30. Cass should be bringing Damien any time now. I must get ready. I shook Xander.

"Xander. Wake up." But he didn't respond. So I shook him again.

"Xander, Damien will be coming any time now. Wake up. We need to get dressed." Again no response.

I know how to wake him up. I moved my face closer to him and was about to peck his lips when he rolled over and I was now lying under him. "Taking advantage of a sleeping man. Are we Ev?"

"I wasn't taking advantage. I was trying to wake you up."

He looked at me suspiciously.

"What? I was really trying to wake you up. Damien will be coming any time now. We should get cleaned up."

"I don't have any problem if he sees us like this. He will understand how much mommy and daddy love each other."

My eyes widened "Hell No! Are you mad?" I quickly got up and he kept laughing on the bed. "I am going to take a shower." I said and ran to the washroom.

"I'll join you. Wait."

Around 7pm me and Xander, we were in the kitchen. I was making pancakes and Xander was busy typing in his phone sitting on the stool.

"Mommy." I turned around to see a very happy Damien running towards me. Cass following him from behind. I picked him up in my arms.

Cass said "Ev I really need to go, Evan is waiting outside." She then came towards me and whispered in my ears "He is taking me out for dinner actually Damie gave me an amazing plan and guess what it worked. This guy is hella smart."

I saw Damien smirking.

"And what was the plan."

"Well you know for a month now Evan gives his work more time than me which was really pissing me off. I shared my problem with my one and only Damie and he then gave me this idea to give cold shoulders to Evan a whole day. So since morning I was doing that. Then Evan got irritated and said he'll take me out for dinner and now I am going there. So bye."

"Okay..... umm... bye. Enjoy your dinner!" she left running.

I turned to Damien and glared at him playfully. He just giggled and hid his face in the crook of my neck.

"Poor Evan." Xander commented. I made Damien sit on the counter he then crawled to Xander and snatched the phone from his hand keeping it aside. He looked at Xander angrily and said "Daddy, no phone."

He hates it when Xander uses his phone when he is with us.

"Okay okay." Xander said taking his phone and slipping it on his pocket.

Finally! My pancakes were ready. I served the pancakes in two plates and went to them. I kept it on the counter. Damien took a deep breath as if smelling the pancakes, he loves my pancakes then he said "Ha! Pancakes. Mommy, you made this?"

"Yes baby. Mommy made this." I replied.

Then he frowned and sighed in disappointment. "What happened baby? You like mommy's pancakes, then why are you sad?"

He then held his stomach, pouted and said "I am full. I ate burger."

"Aww.. my baby."

"Mmm... it's so good!" Xander moaned beside me taking a bite of the pancake.

Damien glared at him. "Unlucky people." Xander said looking at Damien.

"Mommy, Daddy!" Damien said in an angry tone asking me to scold Xander. I hit Xander's arm.

"Shut up. Why are you teasing him?" I then turned to Damien his face held a satisfied look. "Baby, what did you do today with Cass."

"Cassy took me to the park and told me about all her sadness, her boring problems I gave her an idea. She jumped in excitement and shouted saying that I am amazing." He then paused for some time and said with his hand closing his ears "Mommyyyyy please from the next time ask Cassy to be a little quiet. I could've gone deaf because of her."

Ya! he calls her Cassy because Cass always says that aunt sounds like an oldie.

"Oh baby! Daddy has tried a lot but unfortunately failed." Xander said.

Damien giggled then again held an angry expression as if he again remembered he was angry with Xander.

"Then mommy she gave me burger and coke to eat. Then we watched movie together."

"Seems like my baby had a lot of fun today." I said.

"Yep." Damien then again glared at Xander.

"I was thinking the surprise that I was planning to give Damien I should probably give that to Catherine." Xander said.

Damien looked at Xander curiously. "What surprise Daddy?"

"I brought something for you but now since you are angry I'll just give it to her."

"What did you bring?"

"Umm... not telling you."

"Please Daddy. I want to know."

"For that you have to stop with that angry attitude of yours."

He thought for a while and said "Okay."

"Promise?"

"Mmm... promise."

"Okay then. Come with me." Xander said getting down from the stool picking up Damien in his arms. He started making his way out of the house.

"Wait for me too." I shouted from the kitchen. Stuffing the last piece of pancake in my mouth I ran to them.

Finally when we reached the garden area. I saw a bike kept there.

Not any bike but the one that Damien wanted. Xander always told him that he will fall and get hurt so he won't buy him any. But now....

"Ha! Bike!" Damien exclaimed in Xander's arm then he hugged Xander tightly "Thank you so much Daddy. My favourite bike."

"I know it's your favourite. You have it now. But be careful. Don't hurt yourself."

"Yes Daddy." Xander then put him down. Damien ran towards his bike and started fidgeting with the helmet trying to wear it. Xander sighed and went to him. He helped him with the helmet then Damien quickly got on the bike but was about to fall down with the bike when Xander caught the bike. "I said be careful."

"Sorry Daddy."

Then Xander held the bike while helping Damien to drive it.

Damien looked so happy. I sat on a chair staring at both of them. I don't want anything more from my life. My life is completed with both of them in it.

After Damien was done with his driving we had our dinner then I took Damien to sleep while Xander said that he had some work so he'll be in the office.

Damien loves to listen to stories. So everyday either me or Xander has to tell him a bedtime story. When I saw he was asleep. I kissed him and made my way to the kitchen. I made a cup of coffee for Xander and then went to his office. Opening the door I saw Xander working.

I leaned against the door and smiled thinking about our journey. Our first meeting, my nervousness when I first saw him. My journey from Eveline Carter to Eveline Knight. From his hatred to winning his trust and now being the love of his life. My journey from being a simple Daddy's girl to finally become a wife then a mother. Never did I thought that my life would take such a turn and give me a life which was just a dream.

When he first rejected me I was broken but there was a part of me that was still expecting something to happen. Something that was unexpected, and it did happen. Xander started trusting me, he started loving me, he gave our marriage a chance. And now here we are together forever.

So expecting something unexpected to happen in your life is not wrong maybe it might really happen.

Xander then looked up at me and smiled. I went to him and kept the cup on the table.

"I thought you would need it." I said.

"Thank you. I really did need a coffee." He said with a smile.

When I turned around and was about to leave he held my hand and pulled me to him. I ended up on his lap. He removed some strands of my hair from my face and said "Thank you for coming in my life Ev. Thank you for making it special. Thank you for giving me Damien."

I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. "It's always you who thank me. I should also thank you for coming in my life. For making my life special. For all the things that you have given me. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for opening your heart to me. And thank you for loving me."

I kissed him and said "I love you Xander."

"I love you Ev."
