All right, here I am standing in front of his company.

I went in and headed straight to the reception. "Good morning ma'am this is Olivia. How can I help you?" the receptionist said.

"I am here to meet Mr. Alexander Knight."

"I doubt you'll be able to meet him ma'am. Sir does not allow anyone in his office. But if you have an appointment you can meet him." She said.

"Sorry but I don't have it. But you can ask him, he knows me."

"I can't do that ma'am I am really sorry."

"Just tell him about me."

"I ca-" She was cut off by someone.

"Eveline" I turned around to find a guy standing there with his hands in his pockets. He comes near me and says "You are Eveline Carter?"

"Yes and you?" I asked.

"Evan...Evan Black. I am Alexander's best friend."

"You are The Evan Black, like the billionaire of-" he cut me off by saying.

"Yes I am that Evan Black. You are here to meet Alex aren't you?" he said with a smile on his face.

"Yes. Its really urgent. Can you please help me Mr. Black?"

"Of course Miss Carter. And please call me Evan. Mr. Black sounds like you are addressing an old man." I laughed a little and said-

"You can call me Ev then."

"Cool. Ev." he said with a smile in his face.

He looks cute when he smiles and thinking about the name he said earlier 'Alex' I chuckled a bit. So Mr. Arrogant also has a nick name to address with. That's really funny when I compare his face with the name. Like he is always so serious it doesn't suit him. We were in the elevator then Evan took me to his office. We went in and I saw him sitting in his chair with a laptop in front of him on the table. He looked from the screen to our direction. And OH MY GOD!

If looks could kill I would be dead by now.

Ev get a grip of yourself. You are here to have a fight with him.

I mean look at him he looks so hot with the top two button of his shirt open, with his tie off. I wonder how would he look like when he would be shirtless.

"Hey Alex, look who is here to see you?" Evan said moving forward to his table.

If I didn't tell you yet then let me tell you his office is amazing. He really has a great taste. I doubt Blake Simon could beat him in this. Thinking about it I chuckled a little.

"By the way I came here to meet the clients. I hope they are in the meeting room?"

"Ya they are waiting for you. You can continue with the clients." He then stood up from his seat closing the first two buttons of his coat. "And tell them I apologize for my absence." He said that looking into my eyes.

"Okay. I'll tell them and just a suggestion don't do any kinky stuffs in the office." Evan said winking in my direction. I just rolled my eyes. Then Evan left the office I turned around to face Alexander, who hadn't stopped looking at me.

"So Miss Carter, what is it?" he asked with a smirk in his face.

I move forward from where I was standing. And now I am right in front of him. He is so tall.

Of course bitch, he is 6'1''. By the way you are also not short you are 5'7'' what more do you expect.

"I wanted to talk to you about the marriage" He raised his eyebrows and I continued "I don't want to marry you. I don't want to stay in a marriage without love. I can go and tell Dad that I don't want to marry you."

He shook his head smiling, "Eveline do you know the reason why I hate you?"

I am not going to cry again. Control Ev. "Yes because you don't want to marry me."

He chuckled and said "No. I hate you because the moment you said yes for the marriage all excited without even thinking for once, that moment you seized all my reasons or should I say my plans of getting rid of the marriage. Dad knows you have a longtime crush on me and you won't back out of the marriage until I force you to. You have left me with no options Eveline."

" I'll tell my Dad that you have nothing to do with it."

"I wonder you are really that stupid or you just pretend to be one. You'll tell him that 'I' don't have anything to do with it and he will accept it? The girl who was jumping to marry me now wants to back out of the marriage. Isn't that strange? Let me make one thing clear to you Eveline. We will be getting married be it anyway."

"But you don't even like me. Forget about liking, you hate me."

"So for a marriage to take place is it important to like each other? Well I don't think so.

I stared at him with disbelief.

"I AM NOT MARRYING YOU MR. KNIGHT AND THAT'S IT" I said.

From where did you got this much courage that too in front of him? My my someone is trying to be savage today.

I was heading for the door but he held my wrist and within seconds I was sitting on the table with him standing between my legs. Oh God this is so awkward. He glared at me. This doesn't feel good he looks really angry.

"Eveline don't you dare raise your voice at me. This was the first and the last time you did it. IS IT CLEAR?" I nodded.

"Words Eveline Carter. Is it clear?"

"Y-yes."

"And as for the marriage it will take place whether you like it or not. And if you say no once again then trust me Eveline your best friend, what was her name...., yes Cassandra Diaz right? Won't be the IT departments head anymore and I'll make sure she won't get any job anywhere. As for your family, your father wouldn't like to his companies share to be taken away from him, would he? So what do say, Are you still gonna turn the marriage down?" he said, correction it wasn't saying it was threatening.

"You won't do that." I said not believing whatever he said.

"Try me baby." He said smirking.

He moved back and stood adjusting his suit. I looked at him in disbelief. I can't control anymore. Oh Cass please give me the courage to say this.

He turned to look at me and I continued.

"You are a freakin' rude billionaire with no heart, who doesn't care about anyone's feeling but his own. How can you be so mean and heartless? You know what you are an arrogant ass and you don't deserve me. You know why because I am just too good for you."

And I left his office saying that.
