ALEXANDER KNIGHT

After Evan forcefully shared with me everything about his date, we went to sleep. Well I am used to his snoring now since we had a lot of party in the past when he used to get drunk and I was the one to take him home. Well not only him but Blake too.

God! Why am I even thinking about him now. Bloody liar.

I was so pissed when I lost my moment with my beautiful wife. I needed her so badly at that time but because of those idiots I couldn't.

I was trying to sleep for the past one hour but I couldn't. It's getting my habit to sleep with her in my arms. And I wouldn't call it a bad habit, it's a good one. I can't sleep like this anymore.

I got up from the bed and was about to go to her room but then I thought she might be asleep. I don't think like me she is suffering to sleep. She was happy when her friends decided to stay here. Maybe I am the one who is getting mad in love. I went to the living room and sat on the couch with my phone. I started checking my mails when I heard some noises from the kitchen.

It's so late who could it be? Maybe it's Rose, maybe she wants something. I should go and check.

I went to the kitchen but the lights were off.

She didn't even switched on the lights.

I sighed and switched on the light. I looked in front of me to see my wife standing there with wide eyes with a fork in her mouth. I looked down at her hand to see packets of chips and chocolates. Not expecting me here the fork from her mouth fell down. She looked at me as if I have caught her stealing. Well yes I have caught her stealing stuffs and those stuffs are a bottle, packets of chips and chocolates, and yes a chocolate mousse too.

"So now I have a thief in my house."

"I am not a thief. Stealing chips and chocolates is not a crime." She said with a pout.

Does she knows how cute she is looking right now? I want to kiss those lips now.

"I was not able to sleep." She said.

Oh! So she was also not able to sleep because of my absence.

I don't know why but it felt good to hear that.

"I thought if I eat chocolates then I could sleep."

What? She was not awake because of me but because she was craving for chocolates. Great!

I was right then it's just me who can't sleep without her.

"Ya right so you were craving for chocolates. Good. Have them and go sleep peacefully." I said in an angry tone and left the kitchen.

I came back to the living room and sat on the couch.

It's just me who can't sleep.

She doesn't even feel bad that I am not with her.

Instead she is craving for those stupid chocolates and chips.

Great Alexander Knight! Stay here awake all night.

After sometime Ev came out of the kitchen keeping her packets on the table she sat beside me.

Now why is she here. Can't she just have her chocolates and go to her 'besties'.

"Xander." She called me.

I didn't reply.

Then she poked my arms with her finger "Xander."

"What?" I asked.

"Umm... will you get mad if I ask you to sleep with me?"

"Yes I-"

Wait. What? Did she just say that she wants to sleep with me.

"What did you say?" I asked her to confirm if I am hearing the right thing or not.

"Umm... I can't sleep there. I don't know why? I was trying to sleep for an hour but I couldn't. I thought that if I eat chocolates maybe I could fall asleep. But after eating one whole bar I didn't feel like sleeping. I also thought to call you because I wanted to sleep with you but then I thought you might have already fallen asleep. So I didn't call you."

She said so many things fidgeting with her fingers. And I thought it was just me who was dying to sleep with her.

"Let's sleep here only then." I said her eyes instantly shot up to look at me. I smirked.

I laid on the couch and pulled her close to me. Her hands were resting on my chest and my hands were wrapped around her waist. I pecked her lips then kissed the top of her head.

"Goodnight Ev."

She moved more closer to me and said "Goodnight Xander."

The next morning I woke up listening to some noises. I opened my eyes to meet with three pairs of eyes staring at me in 'awe'. I looked down to see Ev still sleeping in my arms.

"You both are so cute." Rose said.

"You could have told us man that you wanted to sleep with your wife we would have understood." Evan said.

I glared at them.

"You both are so in love." Cassandra said. "How did you get so lucky to have her?"

Wow! I just woke up from my sleep just to meet with those irritating questions. Just then Ev moved in my arms I looked at her. She opened her eyes.

She is so beautiful.

She smiled looking at me and said "Good morning."

I could die for that smile of yours Ev.

Before I could reply those three irritating people said in unison "Good morning."

Ev finally realized that there were more people she turned her head and her eyes widened.

"W-what are you all doing here?"

"Staring at the cute couple." Rose replied.

Ev got up and said "I think I should go and get changed I have to go to work." With that she ran to upstairs. Embarrassed.

Why is she embarrassed she is my wife we can sleep together.

I then again turned my attention to see all of them staring at me again in 'awe'. God! This is so fucking irritating.

I took a deep breath and got up from the couch.

"I have to go for work too. So can you guys leave now." I said in irritation.

They were still staring at me with the same expression.

"You know what keep staring like that I am going."

I groaned in frustration and went upstairs.

It's been a month now and everything is just perfect. I didn't know that life would be this amazing with Ev. Because of her I have started doing things I have never done in my life. Now I am forced to take Saturday off. We argued a lot about it. She didn't talk to me for a whole day when I said 'no' and of course it was driving me crazy. So I had to agree to it. Also she forced me to eat chocolates with her. Chocolates and Me we never had any connection.

I love spending time with her. I love to listen to all her talks, her complaints. She even scolds me now if I do something wrong or if I don't listen to her. But after everything that smile which I get is worth everything in this world. I can't imagine my life without her. I don't want to lose her ever.

Today we have dinner at my parent's house. I don't know why so suddenly they called us.

When we entered Mom-Dad greeted us. When I asked them about Rose they said she is out with some friend.

Ya of course some friend. I know there is something that everyone is hiding from me. I think it's the date thing. They think that I don't know that Rose is dating someone. I mean like seriously how can they even think that. I know Rose better than anyone. I know when she hides something from me but I don't want to force her. I want her to come to me and tell everything herself.

I was on my phone talking when my eyes landed on Ev, who was talking with Mom in the kitchen. Mom was saying something which made Ev blush. Her face was red as tomato. I wonder what did Mom say to make her like this.

After the call I went to the dinner table. I was talking to Dad when Ev and Mom joined us. Ev sat beside me. I bent a little and whispered in her ears "Why were you blushing in the kitchen? What did Mom say?" She blushed again.

"Alex I got to know one thing today. You never told me." Mom said moving my attention from Ev to her.

Listening to her I furrowed my eyebrows she continued "Ev calls you Xander." she said with a grin on her face.

God! What problem does everyone has if she calls me that? Why can't they understand she is my wife she can call me whatever she wants. "Ya she does and I like that name."

"Oh Ev I am so grateful to you. You have changed my son so much. You have made me the happiest person on the earth." Mom said and I rolled my eyes.

"So how was your honeymoon?" Dad asked. I looked at Ev who was looking down and blushing again. She looks cute when she blushes. A smile appeared on my face.

"It was nice." I replied.

"Oh Andrew! Look at their faces everything is visible that we are going to get a grandchild soon."

Oh God! A grandchild? I am not even ready for that yet. Why are they in a hurry?

"I am not sure that will happen anytime soon." I said.

Mom looked at me with a frown "Why? You both love each other then where is the problem."

I looked at Ev who was looking down lost in her thoughts but I can tell she is listening to everything we are talking about.

"Mom it's just that I am not ready for a child now. We'll think about it later."

"But Alex have you asked Ev. It's just you who is denying maybe she wants a kid."

What? No! Ev is too young for that.

"I know Mom that we both don't want a kid. Not now atleast."

"It's their life let them decide. Alex is not a baby anymore." Dad said to Mom.

Thank God atleast Dad understands me.

"But he alone can't take the decision for both of them. In the kitchen when I was talking to Ev about it she was blushing that is enough for me to know that Ev wants a child."

So this is why she was blushing.

I looked at Ev she was still looking down fidgeting with her food.

I need to talk to her.

"Mom we'll talk later about it please."

Is Mom right? Is it only me who doesn't want a kid?
