"Yo' the fuck they lock us up for?"Tristan asked, as he winced from his swollen eye.

Whoever these cops are that got us in here, they brought us in here and beat our asses.

"Man I don't know, but them damn pigs tryin' to say that I killed Abrianna, and Austyn retarted ass,"James scolded, still trying to break out of the handcuffs.

"What they arrest you for?"Tristan looked over at me.

"Their pinnin' everything on me. The shoot outs, Abrianna's death, and Gunna's death,"I shook my head, "They goin' to pin everything on me."

"So somebody ratted us out, it's a snake somewhere,"James stated, getting angrier.

"They don't even have evidence, that leads us back to all of that, and especially back to Abrianna's death,"I told him, "I bet these aren't even real cops.."

"Finally,"James hopped out of his seat, me and Tristan looked at him with shocked expressions.

"Nigga! Get us out of these handcuffs,"Tristan looked at him.

"Shh! Nigga, you want them fat ass white men to hear you?"James snapped, going and undoing Tristan handcuffs.

He came and did the same for me.

"How did you even figure out how to do that shit?"I asked, as I rolled my wrist around.

"When I was in high school, I used to always run away from the police. Now it's just a easy thing now,"He shrugged.

We saw the door knob turn, and in came a lady. The same lady that was at my door, telling me about Gunna.

"Oh, you guys got out of your handcuffs,"She smiled all cheery like, James walked up and grabbed her by the neck and pinned her up against the wall.

"You think this some sick ass joke bitch!"He snapped, "Tell us why we're here!"He tightened his grip on her neck, and her face was turning a purple color.

"Ight, let her go so she can explain herself,"Tristan told him, and he hesitantly let her go.

She dropped to the floor, trying to catch her breathe.

"Look,"She gasped still trying to catch her breathe, "I'm on your side, those cops in there are trying to take all three of you down. Especially you,"She pointed at me.

"The fuck? Why me?"I crossed my arms.

"They've been watching you ever since your dad went away, they have enough evidence to lock you up for life Christopher."

I rubbed my hands down my face, and sighed deeply. "So what do we have to do? To get out of this bullshit,"I asked her, and she walked over to her brief case.

"This is all of the files they have on each and everyone of you, I snatched it from my boss's office,"She told us, "I need you guys to do a job for me, and this all goes away along with the evidence."

"How can we trust you?"Tristan eyed her.

"Because..."She trailed off, "I have the power to lock you all up right now, but as you see I haven't,"She shrugged.

"This seems sketchy..."James nudged me, "This bitch could be lying."

"What type of job is it?"I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.

"My husband... he's been cheating on me, and he's very abusive,"She looked at all of us.

"Man hell no, you want us to kill your damn husband? Just go to the damn police, or leave his ass,"James snapped, shaking his head.

"It's not that simple! My husband is a police officer, he won't go to jail for this. I tried to leave, and he broke my arm,"She explained to us, "Just please do this for me, and all of this will go away,"She looked at us, with worried eyes.

"Look can you at least give us a couple of days to think about it? We all have kids and a family man, just let us think about it,"I looked at her.

"You have three days, then I need an answer,"She eyes all of us before closing up her brief case, "I will tell the officers to let you guys go now,"She nodded and walked out of the room.

"You really thinkin' about doing this shit? She could be setting us up!"James snapped.

"Man will you please just shut the hell up!"I snapped back, "Like I said I will think on it,"He eyed me before shaking his head.

"Oh my God, thank God,"Jayda came up and hugged me tightly.

"Hey baby,"I chuckled squeezing her.

"What happened? Why did they arrest you?"She asked, and I sighed.

"Let's not talk about that right now, where is the kids?"

"Their upstairs asleep, Cj what's wrong?"She furrowed her eyebrows.

"Nothin' baby, let's go out tonight. As a family, just me you Cam and the kid's,"I kissed her forehead, she stared me down before walking towards the stairs.

I sighed, and put my face in my hands.

"Dadddyyy!"Princess ran up to me, and my face held a shocked expression.

"Hey baby,"I scooped her up in my arms, "When did you start sayin' daddy?"I smiled at her, and she shrugged.

"She's been sayin' it ever since they took you,"Jayda shrugged, "Those were her first words,"She smiled.

"Aw, my baby talkin',"I smiled, and princess reached over and gave me a wet kiss on the cheek.

"Daddyy!"She clapped, laughing.

Jahlan came running up to me, tugging on my shirt, "You must want to get up here too lil man?"I chuckled, and picked him up.

"Cj! You back!"Cam ran up, and hugged me.

"Damn,"I chuckled, "Everybody just miss little ole me huh?"

"Yes we do,"Jayda came up and pecked my lips, "Please don't leave us like that again,"She looked at me, and I nodded.

"I got y'all baby,"I smiled, pecking her lips, "Now let me go change, so we can go eat."

I put princess, and Jahlan down and walked upstairs.

I quickly changed into my Nike tracksuit, and I put on my white Air Force 1's.

I grabbed everything I needed, and walked back downstairs. I grabbed my keys, and we all walked out of the house.

"Wow, why the fancy restaurant?"Jayda looked over at me, and I shrugged.

"Just wanted to do it big,"I shrugged, getting out of the car.

We all walked inside the restaurant, and the waiter seated us.

"So Cam, how travel ball doin'?"I asked him, as the waiter passed us our drinks that we ordered.

"It's straight or whatever, coach been playin' though,"He shrugged.

"What you mean?"

"He's not gettin' any play time for real,"Jayda answered me, "He needs this playing time, because scouts be at these tournaments and everything,"She continued.

"Look.. I can talk to bru, and see what I can do,"I told him, and he nodded.

"So we never really talked about baby names yet,"Jayda smiled at me, "Do you have any names in mind?"

"Uh... how about Tracy or Samantha,"

"Ha, so funny,"She gave me a serious look, "Them ugly white ass names."

"Okay my bad dang,"I laughed at her, "How about Royalty?"

"Ouu,"She smiled, "That's so pretty, and her middle name could be Kalise."

"I'm rockin' with that,"I nodded.

"Cj..."She trailed off.

"Yes baby?"

"If we ended up keepin' the boy, what would you have named him?"

"Prolly Roger or Frank,"I shrugged, and hit hit my arm.

"Shut up, for real,"She laughed.

"Ight ight,"I settled down, "How about Khalil?"

"That's cute, Khalil Christopher,"I looked up and smiled at her.

"Yea I like it."

The waiter brought back our food, and we all start chowing down on it.

For the rest of the night, we laughed and just spent time as a family.

Tristan.

"Daddy, can you come play princess with me?"Serenity smiled, coming into the living room where me and Jaden was watching a movie at.

"Do I have to baby?"I groaned, and a pout went across her face, "ight ight, I'll come play princess with you,"I got up and scooped her up in my arms and spun her around.

"Okay okay daddy I can't take no more!"She laughed, and I stop tickling her, I put her back on the ground and she grabbed my hand and ran to her room.

"So who am I being this time?"I asked, and she put her finger on her chin, thinking about it.

"Your going to be Mr.Kipples, and he has magical thinkin' powers!"She cheered, and I chuckled.

"Who am I going to be?"Jaden asked from the doorway, and we both smiled at her.

"You can be Mr.Kipples wife, mommy Jay,"Serenity smiled, and I looked at her.

We were playing the game with Serenity, when all of a sudden a big frown came across her face, and she threw her doll down and stormed out of the room.

Me and Jaden held a confused look, and followed her out of the room.

"Ree, what's wrong baby?"I asked, and a tear escaped her eye.

"Daddy, your supposed to be Mr.Kipples and you can't even read my mind,"She frowned up, and I furrowed my eyebrow.

"What you talkin' about baby?"

"I miss my mommy, I want my mommy back,"She cried out, and I sighed pinching the bridge of my nose.

"Look baby..."I trailed off, pulling her into my arms, "your mommy did somethin' bad and she had to pay for it,"I explained to her.

"She's like in a time-out?"

"Yes, but look Jaden is your new mommy. She loves you just like your old mommy loved you,"I wiped her tears.

"Really?"She looked up at me, with her big sparkly eyes.

"Yes,"Jaden came up and hugged her, "I'm going to always love you Serenity,"She kissed her little cheek.

"I love you too mommy Jay, and I love you too daddy,"She smiled, and kissed the both of us on the cheek.

James.

"Okay, so nothing is wrong with the baby,"The obgyn told us, "Just make sure, you try to keep your stress levels low,"She looked at Hayley.

"Okay,"Hayley nodded.

"Do you guys have anymore questions?"She smiled at us, and we both shook our heads, "Okay, well the girl in the front will have all of your vitamins,"She walked out of the room.

Hayley pulled her shirt back down, and hopped off of the bed, "Baby I'm hungry, can we go get somethin' to eat?"She asked, and I nodded.

I grabbed her hand, and we walked to the front, Hayley got what she needed and we both walked out of the clinic.

"Where you tryin' to eat?"I looked over at her.

"The soul spot,"She answered, I nodded and put my hand on her belly.

We pulled up to the place, and I hiked my pants up before walking over to her side, I opened her door and grabbed her waist.

"So...What do you want to have first?"She smiled, and I thought about it.

"To be honest it doesn't matter to me, but preferably I would like to have a son,"I shrugged.

"Me too, I would like to have two boys and a girl,"She told me.

"You want three kids?"I asked, and she nodded.

"Why? You don't?"

"Nah, I want at least five or six,"I shrugged, and her eyes bucked.

"That's never goin' to happen, that's way to many kids,"She shook her head, "Try again,"

"Who said they all had to be by you?"I joked, and she mugged me.

"Don't play with me, you know I'm not goin' nowhere,"She looked at me, "Them other putas can't compete with me,"She flicked her hair, and I chuckled at her.

"Girl you is hell,"I laughed, and she cracked a smile.

"What? It's true,"She shrugged, "You ain't go through all of that chasin' just to let me go,"

"That is true, you had a nigga actually chasin' and stalkin' yo ass,"I chuckled, "But you changed me, I don't even look in another girl direction, because I got you,"I reached over and pecked her lips.

"...With yo' mean ass,"I teased her, and she rolled her eyes, "I love you Hayley."

"I love you too baby,"She smiled.

I'm surprised she said it back, it was my first time ever saying it to her.

Two days later...

Cj.

"So what we goin' to do?"Tristan asked.

We were all at James house, talking in his man cave.

For the past two days, I've been up under Jayda and the kids. I've been spending quality time with them.

"Ain't no we, I'm goin' to do this alone,"I told them, and they looked at me like I was crazy.

"Nigga, the fuck you mean you doin' this all by yourself?"James, looked at me.

"I didn't stutter, I'm goin' to tell her that I'm doin' the job. Y'all got kids man, just stay out of it,"I waved them off.

"Man,"Tristan sucked his teeth, "You got a fiancée and baby on the way, have you lost yo' damn everlastin' mind?"

"Look, This is really a one person job. I'll be in and out, I got this,"I got up, "And you niggas ain't comin', or talkin' me out of it,"I walked out of the man cave.

"Ight Hayley,"I nodded, and walked out of the house.

I pulled my phone out, and called Tonya, "Look I'll do it, but just keep James and Tristan out of it,"I told her as she answered the phone.

"Very well then..."She trailed off, "Let's talk business then,"

"Hey baby,"I kissed Jayda on her forehead, "You cooked dinner for me?"I smiled, and she nodded.

"Yea, you know I'm due any minute now,"She rubbed her big swollen belly.

"I know baby, and I can't wait until my Royalty gets here,"I bent down and kissed her stomacg, and I felt a few little kicks.

"Aw, Cj she's already a daddy's girl,"She teared up, and I looked up at her.

"What's wrong baby?"

"I just don't want to ever lose you like that again,"A tear escaped her eye, and I sighed.

"You got me baby, I'm not goin' anywhere,"I hugged her, "I got us,"I kissed the top of her head.

She nodded, and I wiped her tears, "Let me go get everybody for dinner,"She pulled away, and walked upstairs.

I walked towards my office, and just sat there with my head in my hands, I opened the drawer, and pulled out my pistol.

I pulled out a pen and a piece of paper, and just start writing until Jayda came in.

"Hey baby, come in,"She peeked her head in, and I nodded.

"Alright I'll be out in a second,"I told her, and she closed the door back.

After I was finished, I sealed the paper in an envelope, and wrote Jayda at the top of it. I put it in the drawer, and left out of my office.

I walked into the dining room, and everybody was sitting down and eating, I walked around the table and kissed Jayda.

"Smells good baby,"I smiled, and she giggled lime a little school girl.

"Love you lil bru,"I gave Cam dap, and then I walked over to where Princess and Jahlan were.

"And you two, better start being good,"I told them, and they both tried to feed me their food.

I sat down, and start eating my food.

Me and Jayda were laying down in our bed, watching Love and Basketball on Netflix.

Halfway through the movie, I heard light snores come from Jayda, it was going on two in the mornin, I looked over at her and smiled to myself.

Damn she's beautiful.

I carefully slid from our bed, and walked downstairs. I pulled the envelope out, and walked back to our room.

I placed it on her side table, and then I gently kissed her forehead. "I love you so much, in Every Kind Of Way."I whispered in her ear and she shuffled in her sleep a little bit.

I got dressed, and got everything ready, I text Tonya and told her I was ready.

I silently walked outside, and hopped in my car and drove off.

When I got to my destination, another car pulled up next to mine and James and Tristan hopped out.

"What y'all doin' here!"I whisper yelled.

"We not lettin' you go out like that, we all gone go down together,Tristan told me.

"This a brotherhood, we do this shit together forever and always,"James put on his hoodie.

I grinned to myself and nodded, "Let's get this done with."

Jayda.
I popped out of my sleep, as I heard my phone ring. I saw it was from Hayley and I picked the phone up.

"Hello?"

"Get up Jayda! Cj is about to go do somethin' stupid and he's going to get arrested!"She panicked in the phone, and I was now fully awake.

"What?"I hopped out of the bed, "What you mean?"

"Cj is doing some deal with this lady, so Tristan and James won't go to jail! I heard them talking today, you need to get to him quick before he does somethin' stupid,"

I hung the phone up, and slipped on my slides. I grabbed my car keys and hopped in my Range Rover.

I pulled my phone out, and clicked on his contact and it went straight to voicemail, I called again, and then again, and then again, still no answer.

"Fuck!"I yelled out in frustration, I then went to our messages.

He was still sharing his location with me, I pressed on the gas pedal some more trying to get to him quickly.

Tears start escaping my eyes, as I drove some more.

It was a red light, and I tried stopping the car but my car wouldn't stop.

Somebody cut my brakes, I start turning the wheel trying not to hit anybody.

As I was avoiding cars, I saw headlights coming at me full speed and then everything went black.

Cj.

We finished the job, and was just walking out the house when Tonya was standing there.

"Very well then,"She clapped, "Tristan and James you can go,"She looked at me and I nodded.

"What? Cj what did you do?"Tristan snapped, I looked at them.

"They was goin' to arrest me anyways, I had to do what I had to do,"I shrugged, I could hear the police sirens from down the street, "Yo' y'all need to get out of here, now!"I snapped.

"...Tell Jayda I love her, and to hold it down,"I gave both of them a hug, and they ran off.

"You know, your brave Christopher,"Tonya patted my shoulder, "I'll be more than happy, to be your lawyer,"She smiled and then ran off.

The police sirens got closer, and before I knew it I was in the back of a cop car.

I did all of this for my family, but trust and believe I'll be back.
