7 Months Later...

"You did so good!"I cheered hugging Cam.

"Thanks sis, I'm glad you came"He said pulling away. "At least you came, mom and dad been to busy"

"You know I couldn't miss your games for nothing, I'm your biggest fan boy"I said and he chuckled.

"Yea you is"

"So how are they?"I asked and he furrowed his eyebrows.

"You talking about mom and dad?"

"Yes Cam, who else?"

"Okay okay my bad, anyways they boujie now...They don't even bring you up anymore"

I felt a little hurt at what he said , because how could they just forget about me like that.

"Anyways, wanna come over? You still haven't seen my new apartment"I told him.

"Yea"He answered.

He ran over and grabbed his gym bag and I put my Chanel purse on my shoulder and walked out with him right behind me.

We both got into my car and drove off towards my apartment. When we got there Cam helped me out of the car and we walked upstairs to where I live.

I ended up just working at the club with Havana, but I was a bottle girl... I made good enough money and after just four months I moved out of Havana's place and got my own apartment.

It was very spacious with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a good looking kitchen and a big living room and a little dining room area.

It was a thousand dollar a month rent,but it was worth it.

"Damn sis you living good...Wish I could come stay with you"Cam said putting his gym bag down.

"You can always spend the night, but you know mama and daddy will never let you come live with me"I said.

"Yea you right about that one"He chuckled.

"What are you going to do with all of this?"I asked touching his hair.

"Girl what you talking about? I'm growing my shit out"

"You need to do something with this. It's about nappy as hell"I said playing in it.

He smacked his teeth "Whatever I know my hair ain't nappy"

"Yea whatever, anyways..."I trailed off walking over and sitting on the couch.

"Have you found out what you are having yet?"He asked coming and sitting next to me.

"Um my next appointment is in a few days so I should know by then"I told him "You can come if you want to"I suggested to him and he nodded.

"Yea that's cool, I'm down"He said.

His phone start ringing and he picked it up "Aight ma I'm on the way"He said and then hung the phone up. "Damn she irritating"He mumbled shaking his head.

"Boy mama is gone get you for hanging up on her"I chuckled.

"Man she be on that fuck shit"He shook his head.

"Well c'mon let me take you home before she lose her damn mind"I said getting up and walking over and grabbing my purse and keys.

We both left out of the apartment and got into my car. I drove off towards my parent's house.

"Aight I'll talk to you later Jay"Cam said getting out of the car.

"Bye, be good Cam"I said and he nodded and closed the door.

I pulled off out of the driveway and made my way to Walmart. I had to get some stuff for the house and the baby.

I haven't spoken to Pierce in seven months, he haven't tried to reach out or anything after I told him I was pregnant with his child. It was really sad that my kid was going to grow up without a father,but it really wasn't nothing I could do about it.

I have been reading a lot of parenting books and sometimes I'll watchin Pumpkin baby when Havana and Austyn couldn't. It gives me better practice with a baby.

I parked my car and walked into Walmart. I grabbed a shopping cart and start walking towards the baby aisle.

"Okay what do I need"I said to myself rubbing belly.

I found the right carseat that I needed and tried to reach up and get it.

"Here I got it"A deep voice said from behind me.

I turned around and came face to face with this fine ass man. He was darskin with pretty white teeth and a built up body and he had  earrings and tattoos on both of his arms,and a full healthy looking beard.

"Thank you"I said looking down at my feet which was a little swollen.

"No problem lil ma"He smiled showing all of his teeth. He grabbed the carseat and put it into the cart for me. "Shouldn't the dad be helping you with this?"

"Uh well the dad isn't around, I'm all by myself in this"I chuckled pushing some of my hair behind my ear.

"Damn that's tuff"

"Yea, but thank you I should be going"I said pushing the cart away from him.

I picked up everything else I needed and then I paid for my things and walked outside. I put everything in my car and then sped off to my house.

Tonight I had to go work at the club with Havana.

I walked into my bathroom and hopped into the shower,after my shower I moisturized my body. I put on my undergarments,and did the rest of my hygiene things.

I put on this sparkly black tight dress that showed off my bump really good,and I put on my sparkly Christian Louboutin heels.

I walked over to my vanity and put my curly hair into a slick back ponytail,and I put on light makeup.

After I was done gettin ready I grabbed my bag and keys and left out. Once I made it to the club I placed my bag in the back and got straight to work.

"Hey Jayda Lynn can I talk to you real quick?"My boss Nick asked me.

"Hey Nick wassup?"I asked him.

"Come with me to my office real quick"He yelled over the loud music.

I nodded and followed him upstairs to where his office was. Once we made it in there I sat down and crossed my legs since my dress was a little bit short.

I felt myself getting a littke nervous like I did something wrong since Nick never has even really talked to me since I've been working here. 

"So I been watching you.."He trailed off pouring him something to drink "And I like the way you work, out of all of my bottle girl's you make the most money.That's what I like Jayda Lynn your handling your shit"He smirked.

"Thank you"I smiled feeling accomplished.

"I need you to work a party for me tomorrow night, you will be getting paid at about five thousand"He said.

"Wow that's a lot , whose party is it?"

"My homeboy Cj...He just made it back in town and him and his boy's are coming here. So I'm hosting a Welcome Back party for him"He told me.

"Oh okay"I nodded.

"So you in or not?"He asked taking a sip of his drink.

"Yes I will do it"I assured him.

"That's what I like to hear, you a good worker for somebody that's pregnant"He sat back in his chair and stared me down.

"Um thank you I guess"I chuckled a little and getting up "But thank you for this opportunity, I won't mess it up"I said and walked out of his office.

I walked back downstairs and Havana was at the bar so I walked over to her. "Hey girl"She said fanning herself off.

"Hey, Kiesha can I get a water please"I told the girl that works the bar. She nodded and start fixing my water.

"So what did Nick want with you? I saw you two go to his office"Havana asked sipping something in a cup.

"He wants me to work some welcome back party tomorrow night"

"Damn girl you gone be making big bucks, you know them parties be thumping. Who's party he hosting it for?"

"Some dude named Cj"I shrugged.

"Oh snap Cj fine ass"She smiled and I looked at her funny.

"Um you have a man Havana"

"Yea girl I know, but Cj is fine just wait until you see him. I'm proud of you my bitch doing her boss shit and making her money"I just laughed at her.

"Anyways I have to go do two more tables before I can leave, when you off?"I asked her.

"Not for another two hours girl. So I best get my ass up and work this pole for these thirsty cheating ass niggas"She sighed and me and Kiesha busted out laughing at her.

"That girl right there is a fool"Kiesha laughed wiping off the counter.

"Tell me about"I chuckled.

After I was finished with my tables I clocked out and got into my car and went home.

I locked the door and placed my keys on the counter. I walked in my room and stripped out of my clothes and put on some sleeping clothes.

I placed my phone on the charger and got into my bed and laid down and soon drifted off into a deep sleep.

I was woken up out of my sleep by my phone ringing constantly. I picked it up without even looking at the caller id.

"Hell-"

"Yo Jay, Can I come stay with you?"Cam asked immediately.

"Um sure Cam, what's wrong?"I asked sitting up in the bed.

"I'll tell you when I get there, my homeboy gone drop me off around there"He said and then hung the phone up.

I looked at my phone weirdly before texting him and telling hin the spare key was under the mat.

I hopped out of the bed and got into the shower, I decided to wash my hair. After my shower I did everything else I needed to do and I just wrapped my wet hair into a T-Shirt to let it dry.

I put on a long T-shirt with some shorts and long white socks. I walked in the kitchen and start cooking.

"Well look who's up tootie"I cooed at my stomach. I always loved when my baby kicked it just made me happy.

After I was finished cooking the bacon Cam busted inside the apartment with a mean look on his face.

"Well hello to you to"I joked laying all of the food out.

"I hate living with mama and daddy, can I crash here for a couple of days?"He said and I looked up at him again and he brought bags with him.

"Well since you dun brought your whole closet you might as well , take the room that's at the end of the hall"I pointed in the direction and he took all of his stuff to the room.

"So are you going to tell me what happened?"I asked cutting up a pice of my pankcake and placing it into my mouth.

"They had a couple of friends over, and they asked about you and mama and daddy told them that you died"He said angrily.

I almost choked on my pankcake "They what?"I asked again.

"Said you killed yourself and shit like that, and that you were dead I don't know what kind of shit Tyrone and Malinda been smoking but they really uave lost their mind"He said plopping down on the couch.

"I cannot believe they said that, they really gone do me like that"I said finding myself getting upset.

"Don't even worry about them dumb people, just focus on taking care of your baby"He said walking up and hugging me "You don't need dumb and dumber"

I chuckled at him "Your crazy, anyways you want something to eat? I made enough for the both of us"

"Yea I'm starved, plus I love yo cookin"He said fixing him a plate.

"Okay so I have to work tonight, you gone be good here by yourself?"I asked.

"Yea imma be fine, can Ky come over here though?"He asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Yes Cameron, but don't mess up my house or imma fuck you and Ky up"I pointed my finger at him.

"Damn you hit me with the government name, but don't worry I'm not"

"We gone see"

"How come you still working at that club?"He asked drinking some Orange Juice.

"Because I'm making good fast money"I answered him.

"Okay and you can make good money at like Walmart or Target"He shrugged.

"Yea,but is it fast though? And plus I make double at the club in one night then I would make at Walmart or Target"

"Yea I guess, just be careful niggas be tripping and shit"He said and I start laughing at him.

"Yea whatever, but you want to come baby shopping with me?"I asked and he nodded.

"Yea, let me finished this though"He said stuffing his fast with the breakfast I made.

"Damn slow down it ain't gone run away"I teased walking into my room.

I picked out some ripped jeans with a white cami shirt with my jean jacket. I put my white Gucci slides.

I put my thick damp hair in a bun and then I applied lip gloss to my lips. I grabbed my Gucci purse and my phone and walked out of my room.

"You ready?"I asked Cam and he looked up from his phone and nodded.

"Yea"

We both walked out of the apartment and I made sure to lock up and then we went down to my car.

When we got to the mall we went into the baby store.

"Wait why we in here again? You don't even know what your having yet"Cam said and I rolled my eyes.

"Yea but I still have to get diapers and bibs and everything else the baby might need Cam, and I can get some clothes in a neutral color"

"Oh okay , I gotchu"He said and we start picking stuff out.

We spent almost four hours in the mall going to different stores and picking out stuff.

"I'm exhausted, you ready to go?"I asked turning around but Cam was no where in sight.

I looked around the food court and saw him getting some girl's number.

"This boy here"I shook my head.

He walked back up to me with a big cheesy grin.

"Okay playa I see ya, ian even mad"I said and he laughed.

"Well you know how I do"He said cockingly.

"Boy whatever, you don't got game"I waved him off.

"Oh I got game, I got all the game girl you better recognize"I just busted out laughing at him.

"Boy c'mon I got to start getting ready for work."I said and we gathered up all of the bag's and start walking out of the mall.

While we were walking towards the exit the dude I saw last night walked in with some other dude's.

"Oh snap you shorty that I ran into last night.."He smiled down at me "I thought you said the baby daddy wasn't in the picture"He looked over at Cam who was all up in his phone texting.

"He's not, that's my little brother"I told him and he nodded.

"Oh well I'll see you around lil mama"He smirked and walked off with his friend.

Damn, who that?"Cam asked.

"Grown folks business let's go" He smacked his teeth and followed me outside.

"Alright Cam I'm heading out, you gone be good right?"I said putting on my hoop earring.

"Yea, Ky on his way...You wearing that to the club?"He looked over my outfit.

"Yes Cam, I have to do a big party tonight so I have to look presentable"I told him and he sucked his teeth.

"Yea aight"

I rolled my eyes and gathered all of my things and walked out of the house. I got in my car and quickly pulled off.

When I got to the club Nick was at my station on his phone.

"Okay good your here, you running late but it's cool you get a pass. Gone ahead and start their at the upstairs V.I.P section, go work your magic"He said and I nodded.

This was my very first party and I was indeed nervous. I grabbed everything I needed and processed towards the stairs.
