Naomi Black

He had the audacity to text me.

Don't worry—I didn't respond.

"Naomi! You aren't wearing that! I laid out a perfectly hot outfit already for you!" Sloane bitched as Finn looked back and chuckled at us. I huffed, it was New Years Eve and I didn't want to get shit faced in a slutty cocktail dress and her Jimmy Choo's.

"Quit huffing—you need to dress up! You're hot! And you're single." She winked at me while stating the last part and it brought out a small smile in me.

But— I still didn't want to wear a dress that would have me chafing so badly, I would need oil on my entire body.

"I hate it here without Nat," Finn said, looking around the living room. Our living room was an absolute disaster. Glitter, lipstick, fake lashes- everything was everywhere.

But tonight, we all needed to look hot.

"Caden texted me, saying we were meeting at Cutch's in forty five," Sloane shoved me forward off the couch. "There—your hair and makeup is done, now go wear what I picked out." She ordered me as I saluted her.

"Mam, yes mam," I spoke in a mock way.

She rolled her eyes at me and I raised my eyebrows at her. "Wait—Caden texted you that?" I asked her. Finn's eyes immediately shot back to us, hearing her brother's name.

Sloane slowly winced.

"Mmm—yeah." She whispered, focusing on her eyebrows. My eyes almost fell out of my head.

"Sloane! He cheated on you!" I exclaimed but she gave me a nod. "Yes—and I know that. And we aren't getting back together as of now-"Finn cuts her off.

"As of now!" Finn yells as I nod, agreeing with her.

"Once a cheater—always a cheater." I remind her as Finn crosses her arms over her chest.

"Chillax ladies, you're talking to the biggest whore on campus. I just wanted to make amends." She defended. "Maybe a little baby too-" I cut her off by snapping my fingers in front of her face.

"You know—if you want to snap your fingers in my face you have to be able to at least reach my collarbone." She teased me as I gasped.

"Quit being cranky, both of you." Finn split the two of us apart. I glared at Sloane as she laughed at me. I walked over to the table and picked up the outfit she had laid out and stomped down the hallway to my bedroom.

"Don't forget the boobs! No bra!" Sloane yelled at me as I shut my door.

I hated this.

I was such a homebody at this moment in time but I knew this would be good for me. Going out—getting shit faced, shaking my money makers, and not thinking about him would be good for me.

The only downside to this: I was going to his bar.

The upside: I don't believe he was going to be there.

"Hope you had a merry christmas."

I can't fucking believe he had the nerve to text me about the holiday! He literally got up and left me—had no balls to talk to me, but then he unblocks me all of a sudden?

This guy was a fucking trip.

"Naomi!" Sloane banged on my door. "What!" I yelled. I started to take off my silk penn state robe, a Christmas present from Sloane, all four of us had them.

They were custom designed by her dad.

"Thirty minutes! And Blakey is picking us up!" She yelled through the door. That's when I snorted, trying to stuff my foot into this fucking stiletto.

"Does Blakey know that you're still in love with Cay Cay-" I get cut off by my door swinging open. "I hope you break your ankle." She spoke with a glare in her face.

I winked, "And I hope you get pregnant." I heard Finn from down the hallway snort as Sloane stuck her tongue out at me.

I shrugged as she rolled her eyes, finally I was able to get my foot in one fucking heel. She slammed my door shut. I chuckled—stuffing my ankle in the other heel. Mimi hopped off her cat tower and pranced over to me.

"Shhh—if she finds out you're rubbing on me near her Jimmy's she might rip out my piercings in my sleep!" I whispered to Mimi as she stared at me.

I finally got the other heel on and walked towards the mirror—I looked good only wearing a bra, underwear, and some high heels. I always wished I was tall.

I stared at myself a little longer, I was so bloated. I had consumed so much pasta today—I thought my gluten intake would've killed me. It was so severe that my piercing was literally out.

Mimi meowed and I smiled at her through the mirror.

I decided then that I would actually throw on the fucking cocktail dress. It was cute—I just didn't have the tits for it.

But I didn't have time for my self doubts, I was going to feel and be hot tonight.

"Naomi! Twenty mins!" Finn yelled. I groaned, I started to lotion my entire body, every inch of my skin. And then I reapplied my lip gloss. Puckering my lips at myself in the mirror then giving myself a smile.

I was pretty.

I pulled my long hair behind my ears, my butterflies on display. I turned to face Mimi—doing a twirl. "Well- do I look hot?" I ask as she slowly blinks at me. I frown, she was just looking at me weird these days.

I spritzed myself with another round of perfume before grabbing my clutch and walking out of my bedroom door, leaving me to be early.

I walk down the hallway, the heels clacking against the floor. I felt powerful, like I was going to destroy someone's life tonight.

I walk into the living room and a whistle startles me. I look up in alarm and then smile.

"Jesus—is that my sister?" Blake covers his eyes. I giggle, "God-sister." I remind him as he uncovers his eyes. "Oh, so it's not incest?" He teases as I roll my eyes.

"Not if you like it." I play along as he chuckles. He looks me up and down before snapping the gum he was chewing in his mouth.

"You look stunning," He compliments me as I do a small twirl for him, laughing.

"I know she does." Finn states, walking down the hallway. I raised my eyebrows—jesus. I wasn't into girls but Finn would be my go to girl if I was drunk and hated men. Her red hair, bright, framing her face. She had on a black mini dress, and a black blazer—pairing it with slim black heels.

I pretended to swoon as she batted her eyelashes at me.

"Okay- my turn!" Sloane called out as I turned to see the absolute blonde bombshell.

And Sloane Beck—never disappoints.

"Ow- ow!" I cat call her as she wears a plaid mini as if it were undergarments. She winks and does a twirl, almost spilling the margarita in her hand.

"Oof- okay! Let's go before I die." Sloane chugs the rest of her drink, slamming the glass on the counter and walking towards Blake who was trying to keep his composure, but as soon as she walked past him—patting his chest, he choked out a cough.

"Damn! Slow down! Why are you so fast!" Finn yells- chasing after her as Sloane giggles, halfway down the stairs already. I ushered for Blake to walk out first so I could lock the door.

"Does it look like I could wear underwear underneath this skirt? No. So I'm super lightweight today baaaaby!" Sloane teased as I raised my eyes, rushing to lock the door before the drunk slut came out in her.

Blake whistled, trying to look everywhere but at the blonde girl that was drunk off two margs.

I chuckle, handing him our apartment keys.

"Come on lover boy-" I grab his hand as I drag him down the steps and into the lobby.

"He's not—I'm going to be there right?" I asked, quietly. Blake chuckled, "I don't believe." He spoke. But I didn't believe a word he spoke tonight—he was too fantasized by the blonde girl.

I groaned, walking out of the lobby into the cold air- immediately freezing. Blake chuckled. "You dumbass, you have nothing on to keep you warm." He shrugs off his black blazer that compliments his entire black outfit. I deny it, we were almost to the tesla anyways.

"Fine—freeze then." He snarls at me as I chuckle. Damn, he was in a mood.

"She can't freeze, Blake!" Sloane calls back, spinning to face us—walking backwards. Jesus, safety hazard. He rolls his eyes, "And why can't she, Sloane?" He asks to play along.

Oh god.

Sloane let out a giggle, clapping her hands. "Don't you know? Hoe's don't get cold." She spoke it as if it were a fact as Blake pursed his lips and nodded. Sloane spun on her feet, walking forward again.

Blake looked at me and shrugged. "Great friend you got there," He started trying to snub Sloane but I wasn't having it. I smiled at him, grabbing his big hand in mine—still walking towards the tesla.

"You don't seem to mind her when she's in your bed, right?" I mocked him as he narrowed his eyes on me. But before he could respond, I released his hand- and carefully skipped towards the girls that were waiting next to the fancy car.

Blake stormed towards us, pressing the door button on his keys—the winged doors opening and we slid in. All three of us in the back as Blake sat alone like a chauffeur in the front.

He turned on the car and we cheered.

I pulled out my phone and scrolled through my Instagram feed, giggling at the drunk videos and pictures everyone was already posting. McCutchens was going to be packed tonight, but I was so thankful.

More people to meet.

Are you coming to Cutch beautiful? A text from Reese vibrated my phone. I smiled before hearing the message, I was going.

"Blake—just in case you can hear that vibrating—it's NJ's phone. It's not my vibrator, I left it at home. Top drawer in my nightstand." Sloane called out as he almost swerved off College Ave. I gripped onto the seats.

"Sloane. Shut up—you need water. And a juicy fat fucking burger." Finn coerced her as I looked at Blake, who was having a hard time concentrating on this short drive. His grip was deathly tight around the wheel—knuckles white.

I chuckled.

He pulled up alongside the curb, parking. I looked around, "You can park here?" I asked him as he chuckled. "My best friend owns the place—I could park on the damn roof if I wanted to." He stated as I raised my eyebrows.

Rich kids these days.

He pressed the door button and the doors came open, I unbuckled my seatbelt and climbed out first—fixing the short dress immediately. Next came Sloane, who I gripped as she stumbled.

It would be an early night for her.

Finn came out last and winked at me.

But it didn't feel the same without my Natty.

Finn grabbed Sloane and walked ahead as Blakes large arm wrapped around my shoulders—dragging me down almost. His long legs walked so I mimicked his footsteps. We walked towards the bouncer and Blake nodded towards him, pointing to all three of us. The bouncer stepped aside, immediately letting us in—I chuckled.

Oh, to be a rich boy at Penn State.

"If you weren't my sister—I would totally be taking you home tonight." He yelled into my ear as we stepped into the loud bar. I let out a laugh, "It's a good thing I'm your sister then because even if I wasn't— I wouldn't be going home with you!" I called back to him as he smiled and nodded.

He gave me a shove forward as I followed the girls, walking back to the area we once were before. The layout of the area was almost the same, but everything had been moved. No chairs, pong tables and loads of decorations.

I walked over to the bartender, smiling—I think I remember his name being Pasquel? He smiled back at me. "Miss Naomi—I'm surprised to see you again." He states as I raise my eyebrows.

"Oh really?" I ask as he nods. He pushes a vodka cranberry towards me as I chuckle—he remembered. "Yes, usually Mr. Williams gets done with one and moves on." He points out the obvious and I give him a small nod, trust me. I know.

"Aye—Pasquel. Naomi, Sloane, and Finn are all in the house tonight." Blake called out as Pasquel nodded.

I went to the object but Blake glared.

I didn't want my ex- boyfriend to be paying for my drinks.

"What about my drinks—asshole." I gasp, turning around. "Natalie Reagan!" I squealed as I'm engulfed in a hug. "What are you doing here!" I yell, not attracting attention since it was so loud in here.

"All the boys are here!" She states as if it were obvious.

Wait.

"What?" I asked as she chuckled. "What do you mean? You don't think they all wouldn't get together one last time?" She asked in a humorous way, but I wasn't laughing.

"Meaning..." I led off as she paused, not catching on.

But she didn't have to tell me because I saw for myself.

Oh, Blake Day—you dirty fucking liar.

"Yes. He's here, but look at you. You're a fucking hot ass bitch, Naomi Black. Go find a guy- make him jealous. Let him know what he's missing and don't cave. He needs to be on his knees." She gives me a pep talk as I soak it in.

Got it.

Bad bitch, on knees— yep.

"Put Mrs. Johnson in the house too!" Blake calls out to Pasquel as Nat shushes him. Blake raises his hands in defense. "Sorry! I forgot people didn't know!" He apologized as she nodded.

He was here—across the bar, hadn't spotted me yet and I wanted to keep it that way.

Natalie's hand gripped my open one and pulled me with her, away from Pasquel and Blake's comfort. Here we go—the home body is now a bar body tonight.

We walked towards the corner but my hips were yanked back as I collided with a sweaty body. "What's up, babydoll," Reese called out over the loud music. I chuckled. "I'm good—but you almost made me spill my drink." I lectured him as he shrugged.

"Wanna go for pong in a second?" He asks as I snort. "No—wanna do shots instead?" I ask as his eyes go wide, nodding. "Yes. Meet me in the corner you were heading to. I'll bring the whole fucking bottle." He shoves me to Nat as I smile.

I follow behind Nat as we walk to the corner I was once in many nights ago. The chair is still there from where Blake had his dick sucked. The only thing that was missing from Reese tonight was the set of twins that were praising him like god.

I chuckle.

Finally approaching the table, I pull up a chair and sit down. Nat sits right next to me—silent, waiting for one of the girls to notice her.

Finn turns her head to say something to me but freezes. "I'm not that drunk yet— am I?" She asks as Nat shakes her head. Sloane turns her head, locking eyes with Nat as squeals. "I'm drunk but I can still tell that's Nat!" She cheers leaning herself over the chairs for a hug. I chuckle.

I had been so lonely over the holidays, five days ago- that I forgot how good my life was when I would appreciate my friends. I loved them like no other and they would do anything for me and vice versa.

"I missed you girls!" Nat exclaims as we all nod in agreement. It had been weird, even during summer breaks I didn't leave campus much to go home. We rarely ever spent time apart from each other and not being with Nat all the time would have to take some getting used to.

My shoulder is grabbed, and I give a slight jump—fearing it was the one person I didn't want to see tonight. But it wasn't, it was Reese. "Open your mouth." He spoke as I looked up at him, him hovering over the back of my chair, looking down at me.

I tilted my head back, opening my mouth. He brought the full bottle to my open lips, pouring the burning liquid into my mouth but stopping when I held up my hand.

I swallowed with a face of disgust before he handed me a cherry to eat—to get the taste out of my mouth.

"That was... hot." Sloane stated as I unlocked my gaze with Reese, looking her in the eyes. Reese looked at her too, he winked as she pretended to swoon.

"She's already shit faced." He states as I nod. "Yep." I agree as he chuckles.

"How many have you had?" He asks as I smile.

"Honestly—one too many but I'm good at hiding it." He perked up at my words. "Not really—your cheeks are extremely rosy." He points out the small thing as I roll my eyes.

A large body slams itself down into the chair across from me. I lock eyes with Blake as he nods towards me, but I narrow my eyes towards him. I point my finger, "Ballsy to lie for him," I accuse him as he shakes his head.

"Hey Blake—remember when you told us to mind our own business and stay out of their relationship? Yeah. Me too." Sloane teased him. Nat watched back and forth as the two glared at each other before tapping me on the leg.

I knew exactly what she was asking, so I just nodded.

No words were needed to explain the obvious.

"Wait—Matti is here?" Sloane asked as Finn broke her conversation with Reese. I rolled my eyes, taking a huge few gulps of my vodka cranberry. "Yep. Blake failed to mention." I add to the ending as Sloane glares at him.

"Open your mouth again and I'll put it to good use, Barbie." He spat at her as Nat and I's jaws dropped to the floor. Nat reached over and covered my ears as Reese let out a loud laugh.

"Virgin ears over here!" Nat reminded everyone as they all laughed.

I was enjoying the moment and living, feeling free. The alcohol was really hitting me now—I watched as Reese and Blake stood up to go play pong. I swallowed down the last of my drink and nodded at Nat, pointing at the bar so she didn't get worried.

She nodded and smiled at me, I pushed my chair back—walking to the bar. Pasquel smiled at me, "Hello Miss Naomi." He greeted me as I smiled at him back. "Want the same?" He asks as he collects my glass. I shake my head, "How about a—" I pause looking at the menu.

And then I smirk, "A sex on the beach." I smile at him as he nods.

He starts to get to work on my drink as I take a seat at the bar. Once he was finished he set it infront of me and more. "Oh wait—Pasquel. I didn't order shots." I call him back as he nods.

"You didn't, but someone sent them for you." He states as I shake my head, passing the two shots back to him.

"I don't take drinks from strangers." I kindly decline as he nods, not to me but behind me.

"She's giving you a hard time?" The hair on my arms stood up, the goosebumps coming alive as I heard the voice of the boy that had been leaving me heartbroken for the last fifteen days.

Pasquel smiled, nodding. "Yes, Mr. Williams. She
