Morning always comes too fast. I am not a morning person especially when someone else is perfectly okay with getting up in the morning and making irritating noises while walking around my room. I grab a pillow from my bed and throw it across the room at Everett who is, by the sound of it, trying to get dressed.

“Get out,” I grumble and turn, facing away from him. My efforts are useless as he jumps back on the bed with his pant zipper undone, giving me a good view of his gray Calvin Klein boxers. He plants his hands on the pillow, caging my head between them and pinning me down on the mattress. I blink my eyes to clear away the remaining sleepiness with an annoyed groan.

“Did I tire you out yesterday?” He asks, smirking down at me. That's when I register the soreness in my muscles. Everett definitely knows how to fuck.

“Mother fucker,” I grumble, “Is it one of the golden boy rule that you have to be so fucking chirpy in the morning or something?”

“No, but it definitely is a soccer guy rule,” he assures me, “You're a coffee addict aren't you?”

“I wouldn't call it an addiction,” I mutter, “Would you get off of me!?”

Everett slips one hand behind me to my lower back, moving it down just a little above my right ass cheek and presses with his fingers, over the bite mark he gave me last night. The sting travels up my spine and I hiss unintentionally. He smirks smugly at me. I slip one of my hands to his thigh and press the bite I gave him there, making him inhale sharply. I return the smirk.

“Mine won't hurt when I sit,” he says.

“That's why you did it over there, isn't it? You evil bastard.”

“Yep,” he grins. He leans in and presses his lips against mine, I close my eyes and just feel. Bringing my hands around him, I kiss him harder. It's too much. Every time. I can't stop it.

Everett pulls back and smiles down at me, “I should probably get out of your room before the others start waking up.”

I let go of him, and he moves away to get dressed. I watch him till he is out of the door to get up to clean myself off. Flexing my muscles to get rid of the soreness, I make my way to the bathroom for a hot shower. Everything that happened Last night fills my head.

The hot water falls on my skin making various bite marks on my skin to sear. He totally did that on purpose. I don't know why that is making me smile.

Classes got over and professor Williston ripped all of us a new hole for the poor performance in his classes, in reality though, he is the poorest performance in his class. Someone taps on my shoulder, snapping me out of my thoughts about killing Williston and dumping his body in a landfill.

“Penny for your thoughts?” Alice grins at me.

“Not worth it,” I shake my head at her, “What do you want?”

“Woah… can't I just come say hello?” Alice gives me the most offended expression she can manage.

“So, I am free to go?”

“Go to the soccer game with me,” she blurts out.

I sigh. “No. It's not even an actual match.”

“But my boyfriend is there!” Alice retorts.

“Exactly. You really shouldn't ask your ex to go to a soccer match in which your boyfriend is playing in.”

“So you really won't do me this small favour just because I broke up with you? Because you broke my heart?”

Evil woman. She knows that I can't refuse her when she uses emotional blackmail. “You horrible human being. Fine. I'll go. Goddamn it!”

Alice smirks at me.

“If your boyfriend gets mad, it's not my damn fault,” I grumble.

“Don't worry. He can't stay mad at me,” She says it so surely that I can't help but smile. I am glad that she found someone who is treating her the way she deserves to be treated. Alice is an amazing person and that's probably why I was more relieved that she broke up with me because I was not good enough for her. She looks better now, happier.

“What?” She raises her eyebrows at me.

“What?”

“You had this weird smile thingy going on,” she gestures with her hands, “Is this one of those moments where you finally realize I am super amazing, and you want me back because now you don't have me?”

I glare at her, unimpressed.

“That's a no then,” she shakes her head, “Good lay yesterday, then?”

Well she isn't wrong. She looks at me a moment before grinning. “So that's why. But I thought you had more important things to focus on than getting laid.”

I did say that, didn't I? At that damn party? Oh, yeah. “I said I was too busy for relationships, not sex.”

“Sex doesn't make people smile like you just did.”

“I wasn't smiling because of sex. Jesus, that's creepy.”

“Not really, I smile when I think about sex with Dylan,” she shrugs and then smiles.

I groan. “You're thinking about it right now, aren't you?”

“Shut up. Why were you smiling then?”

Damn it. She just won't let it go. “I was smiling because you looked happier. Dylan, he is good for you.”

Her eyes bulge and then she smiles. She comes closer to me, pulling me to a hug, completely shocking me. I don't move a muscle, I am too dumbfounded to do anything.

“Are you going to hug me back any time soon? Because, yeah, I am not leaving till you do.”

Reluctantly, put my arms around her, hugging her. I don't remember anyone hugging me just to hug me, maybe when I was a very, very young kid. Or maybe not.

“This is not awkward at all,” I mutter, “Why are we doing this again?”

“Because I wanted to. Also, because you say some really sweet shit, sometimes.”

This only confuses me further. She pulls back and sees my expression, making her laugh. I roll my eyes at her.

“Let's just go. We have a game to catch,” she starts walking towards the soccer field, and I follow.

The field isn't filled with people like it would be in an actual game but some seats are occupied. The game has already started by the time we reach. Alice and I take our seats and watch the game. Alice whooping every time the ball reaches Dylan. But my attention was solely focused on one player. Everett in the field is a sight to behold. He is amazing. It's not my first time seeing Everett play, I have been to a few matches and every time I would stare at Everett. It's weird how a person who infuriates you so much can hold your attention like nobody else can.

While I was completely absorbed in my thoughts, something happened. I look down and focus on the field and see that Everett was sitting on the field, clutching his ankle. Pierce immediately makes his way over to him and pulls him up, putting a hand around him while Everett puts his hand across his shoulders. Both of them make their way to where the coach is standing.

“The locker room. We need to go to the locker room,” Alice turns to him with a worried expression.

He is on his feet before he thinks it. “Okay. Let's go.”
