(n.) A person who spends his time wandering.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I hope you guys know why we are gathered here right now." Taeyong started off as a the screen came to light.

The 19 of us were present in the meeting room of the house. Everyone was sitting around the table.

You would think that their faces would be one of excitement. On the contrary, their faces were stoic, blank of any emotion. While Y/N was going to be officially accepted as a member in this group, her first assignment was also going to be assigned to her.

But, she did not know that though.

"To start off, let's welcome Y/N into the gang officially." A few cheers were heard along with the sound of clapping, reducing the tension of the room. The silent atmosphere was now a more relaxed one.

Despite this news, Y/N's face stayed neutral. Her lips were pursed into a thin line and she sat up straight.

"However, there are a few things that this gang will require from you in order for you to become a member."

Y/N was more attentive. Her ears perked up and she folded her arms. Her head leaned in closer to the table to get a better view of Taeyong. This was the part that every person that joined a gang listened to attentively to decide whether they would be staying there or not. The terms and conditions needed to be suitable for one's preferences.

However, the real world obviously did not work out like that.

"Firstly, let's discuss a very minor requirement. You will need to get a tattoo." Taeyong emphasised on the "will" to make sure that she understodd that this was a necessity.

Oh.

OH.

"Oh hell nah!" Y/N exclaimed.

There was utter chaos in Y/N's mind right. Her body was getting ready to fight anyone that would be in her way of denial.

A few amused smiles broke out throughout the room. Haechan and Chenle could be seen and heard laughing their heads off. Winwin was trying to control them yet, those pesky humans did not stop.

"There's no way I am going to get a tattoo."

"Yes, you have too."

"No. Have you seen the machinery that you need to get one. Those things are sharp as hell and hurt like hell." Y/N cried out. Her former gang did not force her to get one and that was surprising because she honestly thought they would have forced her to get the gang's tattoo when she grew up. She never got an explanation as to why she never had one when she played a pivotal role in the gang.

"It doesn't hurt that much Y/N. Quit being a scaredy cat and stop whining. It's just like as if you were getting your ears pierced."Doyoung stated, fussing over how she was whining too much.

"Just like getting your ears pierced! Freaking hell no! Piercing your ears hurt like hell. Getting a tattoo is going to hurt like shit!" Y/N retorted back at Doyoung.

"Fine. Then, you can't be a part of the gang." Johnny concluded.

Y/N wanted to protest. However, after weighing the pros and cons, she decided against it. That and the fact that it did not seem like they were going to be taking no for an answer.

"Fine, what else do I have to do?" She grumbled.

'Oh, I am going to kill that little piece of shit called Doyoung after this.' She thought.

"Johnny is going to need to run a few health tests on you to make sure that you are healthy and that the health of this gang is not risked in any way. Just safety precautions, you know?" Taeyong spoke.

"No, I don't know." Y/N spoke flatly.

"Your tests are going to include injections, the drawing of blood, a few scans-"

"Hold up, did you just say injections and drawing of blood?" Y/N spoke as the information settled into her head. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped down to the ground, figuratively that is. Her face paled and she stared into space, contemplating her life decisions.

"You okay, Y/N?" A concerned Taeil asked.

"Yeah, just give me a second here. That's a lot of information there."

"A lot of? But, we only just started wi-"

"Hush, hush now child. I said give me a second here."Y/N interrupted Taeil's words, dismissing his shocked face in the process.

This is going to be a long day.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Just sign here and the next page and then you're done." Taeyong spoke.
The past 3 hours had been one of the most boring and scariest hours of her life. Not only had she been scanned for any problems but, she had also been injected 3 times and also had had blood drawn from. After Johnny's scarily fast results, she had been asked to sign a few forms that allowed her to become a part of this gang. The moment she finished signing the papers, Doyoung took them with him and left the room.
"Remember, you dare betray us at any point of time, the world will never know where you went." Taeyong threatened. His eyes were serious. The aura radiating off him was dark and deadly. It was like his personality just did a 180 degrees turn. His eyes seemed to be glaring into Y/N's soul causing shivers up her spine. Though she did not show it, there was tad bid of fear in her that never wanted to find out what would happen to her if she ever did anything like that.
"Now, for the fun part, your tattoo. Everyone here is trained to do everything because we believe that nothing is impossible. It's a tradition that the member right before you, in terms of age, will be the one drawing in your tattoo."
"No."
And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the second time that day that NCT ever had the opportunity of hearing no for an answer.
~~~~~~~~~~

"Come on, I swear I will do anything for you. Just not him, please." Y/N begged persistently, denying the idea of Jisung drawing a tattoo on her.

"I am sorry. We believe in these traditions and you promised to follow them."

"Promise? Follow? When did I say that I would promise to follow them?" She asked, racking her brain for any instance where she had been stupid enough to promise them something when she was really bad at keeping promises.

"It was in the papers."

'Frick! I should have read those god forsaken papers. Who knows what else I have agreed to?' Y/N thought, actually regretting her life choices.

Y/N was brought down into what she assumed to be a basement. They walked through one of the doors in the basement which led to the gang's very own tattoo parlour.

It was not a very fancy or big parlour but, it was large enough to hold all the members inside it. The machinery was everywhere, not in a disorganised manner. Everything seemed to be in its' own proper position. The parlour was extremely clean allowing Y/N to be assured that they prioritised cleanliness. Thus, she figured that they would not let her skin be infected in any way.

She was asked to sit down on one of the chairs.

"Where would you like to have it?"

Y/N thought about it long and hard. This thing was going to be inked into her skin for the rest of her life whether she liked it or not because she sure knew that she was not going to go through the immense pain and cost of getting it removed.

She definitely did not like the idea of the tattoo being exposed to the whole world but, she knew for a fact that she did not want it on or near any of her private parts. She definitely did not want Jisung to see anything. Hence, she finally decided that she wanted it to be inked on her waist. That way it would be private to her but, enough to be seen.

"Could you guys leave? I am not really comfortable in showing a lot of skin." Y/N voiced out her thoughts, hoping that they would agree to it. It was definitely not a lie that she was not comfortable but, she also did not like the idea of so many people looking at her tattoo being drawn onto her.

"Obviously, we were going to leave. We just wanted to get you comfortable here and make sure that Jisung knew what he was doing. I mean he's the one before you so its's his first time. But, he also was the youngest before you came so it's going to take awhile for all of us to get used to it."

Jisung finally sat down on the chair next to Y/N as he stretched the gloves that he was wearing. He had a few papers in his hand that he kept on the board next to him.

If he was nervous about this, he definitely did not show it. His face was all calm and composed. His hands were definitely not trembling unlike hers that she had kept hidden away from everyone's view.

"Alright, we will leave you two to it. If you need anything, that just call for anyone of us." Mark announced as everyone began trailing out of the room.

~~~~~~~~~~
"I don't trust you at all!" Y/N pointed a finger at Jisung who seemed to be unaffected by her sudden outburst. He seemed to be too busy organising those sheets of drawings.
The moment the door slammed shut, Y/N had begun to glare at Jisung who had his back facing towards her.
"Well, you don't have a choice now, do you sweetheart?" A smug looking Jisung faced her as he turned on the machinery that he was going to use.
"Oh, why did you have to be youngest?" Y/N muttered, silently scolding him for coming into the world too early.
"Can't help it. I decided to grace the world with my amazing presence." Jisung spoke up as he caught the words that Y/N had muttered before.
Y/N was surprised at his confidence. She rarely met people who were confident of themselves.
Throughout all this commotion, Y/N had forgotten to ask the design of the tattoo. She mentally scolded herself for being so slow.
"Can I see the design of the tattoo?" Y/N asked, curious to see what the tattoo looked like.
"Here." Jisung showed her the tattoo.
It was not fancy or big. It was not too tiny either. It was enough to show its presence on her, in the world. The lines looked so beautiful that it got her thinking how it would look like on her skin. She traced her hands following the lines and wherever they went on the paper. She admired the work of art. It was simple yet, exquisite at the same time . It was small yet, majestic and bold too. It was plain yet, alluring to her. It was like evil and good combined into one. It drew her in as it made her wonder about the inspiration behind the creation of such a gold masterpiece. She wondered how it would feel like to trace this masterpiece on her skin every morning as she looked at it in the mirror.
And, as a fascinated and awestruck Y/N sat there admiring the art, a silent Jisung sat there observing her from afar.
This was the quietest he had ever seen her during her time her. She always seemed to be talking and bringing some sort of joy to the ones around her. Though she always seemed to be bothering him with the limited amount of time they spent together, Jisung could not help but wish for her to speak.
He took her silence as the chance to properly look at her. Her nose was all scrunched up as she concentrated on tracing the lines with the her fingertips. Her eyes were widen open and her lips were slightly parted showing how amazed she was with the art.
He definitely liked her better when she was silent. But, for some reason, he liked it best when she spoke.
He snapped himself out of his thoughts when he realised he was beginning to think rather incredibly stupid thoughts.
"We don't have all day," He spoke as he grasped the paper between her hands and took it, placing it on the board next to him.
"Aishhhh...You could have just politely asked me for the paper. I would have given it to you." Y/N chastised him. Jisung was going to retort back when he realised he would only end up earning more time with her and losing more of his braincells.
"Lift up you shirt slightly. I am going to start drawing the tattoo on you so don't move." He instructed her not even giving her the chance to acknowledge his words.
However, it proved to be hard when all she did was tremble while holding her shirt slightly above. Her body was shaking slightly and it was becoming difficult for Jisung to draw the tattoo.
He placed the needle back into the stand and crossed his arms, staring at her. She blinked back at him as he stared at her.
"Hey, why did you stop?" She asked.
"Because you can't seem to stop trembling. Why can't you stop?" He asked her.
"Because I am scared of them. My past experiences with them haven't been the best. They aren't good memories. They are horrifying and seeing that needle scares me out." Y/N let it all out, pouring her heart out to a boy that she seemed to dislike.
"I um..." A flustered Jisung spoke, not expecting her to share her problems with him.
"Did I say that out loud?" An embarrassed Y/N looked at him. Her face was turning red with every passing moment. The tips of her ears were red.
Jisung nodded his head at her, trying to bite back his laughter. Y/N's red face resembled a ripe tomato and the resemblance was so uncanny that he was pretty sure he would have nightmares about it.
Despite that, her words had an effect on both him and her. They might not have the best relationship amongst everyone. But, there was just something about him that made her feel safe. Sure, they argued a lot but, it felt like home to both of them.
Her reasoning made Jisung's cold eyes soften every so slightly. He felt warm inside, delighted for some reason that she trusted him enough to tell him that.
"Fine. Hold onto my shoulder. For every time that it hurts, squeeze my shoulder and I will stop for a few seconds. Then, when you want me to proceed, you tap my shoulder, okay?" He suggested, hoping that it would help her in one way or another. His voice though did not waver or show any emotion in any way. It was still monotonous.
She nodded her head hesitantly, still unsure about this whole thing.
She placed her right hand on his left shoulder while her left hand held up her shirt. Jisung bent down to reach her waist level.
Her scent of chocolate and mint invaded his nose as he breathed in her scent. It smelt so delicious, so luxurious that it was making him feel slightly dizzy. It smelt like home to him and he liked it.
He began to cautiously draw the tattoo on her waist. His strokes were effortless and smooth, in one motion. Y/N squeezed his shoulder as he drew causing him to stop multiple times along the way. Every time she would flinch, she would grip onto his shoulder feeling his muscles tense up underneath the shirt. She would gently tap on them when she was willing to proceed and she could feel his muscles relax, his posture also becoming more relaxed.
Y/N despised the silence in the room. It was a comfortable one and not an awkward one like the both of them usually shared. However, she found it too boring and wanted something interesting to engage in to get her mind off the tattoo being drawn.
"So, where's your tattoo drawn at?" She enquired, wanting to know where it was too.
"It's the same place as yours. It's on my waist too."
"What about the others?" She asked curious about theirs too.
"Most of them drew it on their collarbones, backs or their arms. Renjun, Jaemin, Jeno and Haechan drew it on their legs only. We are the only ones with the tattoo being drawn on the waist." With that being said, Y/N could feel heat creeping onto her neck and her cheeks turning slightly red.
"Wait, aren't those 4 you just said you hyungs too?" Y/N asked wondering why he did not add "hyung" after their names.
"Well, it won't kill them to not know what I said right?" Jisung asked as he looked up at her with wide eyes and let a goofy grin take over his face.
Y/N felt herself chuckling along with him as he temporarily stopped to laugh too, afraid he would mess up if he continued laughing while drawing it. The two of them shared the laughter between them, the silence long forgotten between them.
Maybe things may not be so bad after all.
Hey guys!
I hope ypu guys enjoyed this chapter. It was harder to right this because I don't really do well with soft scenes. I apologise for any mistakes or problems in this. I hope I made your heart flutter with the small Jisung and Y/N scene.
Honestly, whenever I write Y/N's name, I always end up writing mine before deleting to ths reader's name.
I actually wanted this story to be with you guys as a main character because I feel like I want you guys to enjoy the story by being able to place yourself in it. It adds a different sort of excitement, I would say.
Some questions to wonder about:
1) How do you think Jisung and Y/N's relationshiop will develop?
2) Have you guys ever pierced your ears too or any part of your body?
Make sure to click that tiny star and feel free to leave any comment.
-Peace-
