"Give him a-a call. Just tell h-him I t-told you to r-r-ring him. He will help you. His family will help you."

Those last few words that Kara had mentioned kept ringing in her hand.

Uncertainty consumed her brain.

That unsettling feeling at the bottom of her stomach definitely did not make things better.

At this stage, calling an unknown stranger would be the most unwise decision to make. Giving that guy a call could prove to be fatal for her. It was a potential risk should this person not be worthy of being trusted.

Over her years of growing up, if there was one lesson that she learnt, it was to never trust anyone.

At this point, could she even trust Kara's words?

Y/n was never one think before doing anything. Winging things was her speciality because even if she ever did have a plan, something would always go wrong last minute. Hence, causing her to ditch her plan completely.

But, she could not help it.

So many different scenarios were going through her brain. So many things could happen. Her life could be at a potential risk. People around her could be at a potential risk. She had to think about her the impact of her actions carefully.

And, there was no other choice but to listen to Kara's words at this situation.

She felt so helpless. It was like her hands were tied together. Every step that she would take would lead her to a dead end.

She hated this feeling.

She hated that she could not help herself.

She hated that for the first time in her life she could not use it to solve her problems.

She hated that she was so restricted and so confined to the boundaries, to those walls surrounding her life.

She hated not having any other choice but to only heed those words.

So, with a heavy heart, she picked up the device in her hand.

~~~~~~~~~~
She dialled the number onto her phone's keypad.
It rang a few times.
Y/n 's shoes tapped against the ground several times. Her heart was beating so fast. She would not be surprised if someone could hear it from outside of her apartment. She was feeling so anxious. Before she could hang up, someone it picked it up.
"Hello." A gruff voice answered.
The voice sounded so hypnotising, so calm and alluring.
"Is that even possible?"
She thought to herself.
"How did you get this number?" The voice questioned her through the phone, snapping her out of her thoughts.
She took deep breaths before answering him.
"Kara told me to call you."
A/N
Hey guys!!
I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. It is pretty short compared to my previous chapters. I had originally planned on making it much longer but, I decided against it. I wanted to leave some suspense. Though, I think the suspense is pretty bad.
Anyways, some questions for all of you:
1) Who do you think picked up the phone?
2) Why does Y/n not have any other choice?
Make sure to click that tiny star and feel free to leave any comments.
-Peace-
