The next morning you wake up at 6:30 in a good mood again. Starting to get ready, you brush your teeth and do your morning skincare. You reach into your suitcase to grab the outfit you picked out for the special occasion. You spent a whole hour looking for the perfect ensemble. You put on a purple button up blouse and a some black skinny jeans. You usually don't like tighter pants, but the jeans make you look professional and they look good on you. You slip on a pair of black shiny heels. You put on some black dangly earrings and an amethyst necklace, making the outfit look clean and  complete. You walk into the the bathroom and put on some mascara and lip tint. You look in the mirror and make sure your hair doesn't look messy. You decided to leave it natural again. You grab a light jacket and your purse, leave your hotel room, and head to you car to leave for William and Mary.

On the way you stop at a small coffee shop to grab some caffeine. You order a medium black coffee and head over to the table at the front of the store with the sugar and creamer. You pour in at least 15 things of creamer and stir it around, watching the coffee go from black to more of a caramel color. You thank the barista and leave a $10 tip. The coffee is really good. Maybe you'll come back here and read your book.

The drive to the college campus is quiet. Your head is full of thoughts as your recite your lesson to yourself. You take mental notes to make eye contact, use your hands, and speak clearly and confidently. You arrive at William and Mary and the memories come flooding back to you- The long walks you would take, the picnics with yourself, and your daily phone calls with Cecilia. "I really was lonely" you think to yourself as you park your car and walk in the front doors.

You go to the front office and ask the man sitting there where classroom 204 is located. He gives you directions and a school map in case you get lost. You walk through the long hallways and make little glances at the students you pass. They all look so young.

You find yourself in room 204 and look at the rows of seats in the room. The whiteboard at the front is huge- you can't wait to present your slideshow. Professor Davis sees you enter and greets you, her smile wide.

"Dr. y/l/n, welcome! Please, settle in. The class starts at 7:30."

"Thank you so much! It's nice to finally meet you."

You shake her hand and she continues to smile. You look at your phone. It's 7:15, so you have some time before the lesson starts.

"It's nice to meet you too. I look forward to your lesson. What did you decide to do your part on?"

The way she phrased that is a little strange to you. What does she mean your part? Aren't you giving the whole lesson? You ignore it and answer her question.

"I decided to focus on behaviorism. It was one of the more interesting topics in my opinion when I was getting my doctorate." You set your bag on the desk and take out your laptop. You turn it on and your presentation pops up immediately.

"That's a great choice! I'm sure my students will love it. Now you get settled in, I have to grab something from the front office."

You nod and say thank you. As she walks out of the door you turn back to your laptop and sit down. You connect it to the projector and make sure it's in presentation mode. You go through it one more time making sure there aren't any mistakes- there aren't. You decide to take out your book and read until Professor Davis comes back, or until students start filing in. Right now you're reading "The Sun is Also A Star" by Nicola Yoon. Being 35 years old nobody would expect that you read young adult novels, but they are your favorite. You just started the book a few days ago and you love it so far.

You're so sucked into the book everything around you seems to drown out. The buzz from the hallway and the sound of the fan fades away, and you feel all alone in such a huge classroom.

"Excuse me, are you Dr. y/n  y/l/n?"

You look up at a tall man with brown hair and a little bit of stubble.

"Yes that's me." You say, not able to look away from his deep hazel eyes.

"My name's Dr. Spencer Reid, I'm here for the criminal behavior lesson?"
