That burger, fry, and pecan pie at the diner was so good, and of course that Rhonda chick had to try and mess things up. I'm going to have to watch out for her I do believe.

Making it back to Ridges house he carries me inside once again and helps me to the couch.

"Do you want to recline or maybe snuggle?" He asks.

"Snuggle sounds good to me but I could use some ice water please." I smile and bat my lashes at him.

"You are something else." He laughs heading to the kitchen.

"What do you want to watch?" I holler from the couch.

"You pick whatever I don't care but you won't stay awake long enough to enjoy it." He laughs.

"Hey! I will too even though I sometimes catnap during the movie." I snort.

He walks in with my ice water and smirks. "Did you just snort?"

I laugh out loud. "Maybe I did."

Ridge sits my water down on the coffee table and grabs the blanket off the back of the couch and sits down to get comfy and pulls me close. My back is to his chest and he drapes the cover over us.

"So what did you pick us out to watch? Because I know you won't stay awake for it." He teases.

"I picked something you would like just in case I did and it's called Ford vs Ferrari, "I said.

"Oh I've heard of that and it's supposed to be good." He smiles.

"Yeah, and it has Matt Damon in it and I just love him," I said.

"Oh you think he's attractive then." he laughs.

"Not as attractive as you in your uniform." I wiggle my eyebrows at him.

I lean back and place my head on his chest and look up and he snags my lips with his. A soft kiss but enough to turn me on but the movie is starting so we break away.

"You are going to cause me to lose focus on this movie Alorah. He grins.

"Oh, its all my fault then I guess." I sigh.

Ridge wraps his arm around me and the other hand is playing with my hair and this is enough to put me to sleep for sure.

"Ridge I really need to get up and use the bathroom can you pause that?"

"Sure let me help you up and to the bathroom," he said.

"Aren't you tired of helping me go from room to room?" I ask.

"Nope never because coming home to an empty house day after day was sad and lonely and now I have you here." He smiles.

"Be glad you don't have to wipe my butt." I laugh.

"I would if you needed me to." He smiles at me.

"You are something else Ridge. I'll be out in a few you don't have to wait." I tell him.

"Alrighty then just holler if you need me. He said and walked away.

A few mins later I walk out of the bathroom through the kitchen and back into the living room and Ridge motions for me to come sit on his lap.

"You want me on your lap?" I ask.

"Yeah, I do please maybe we can get comfy that way." He smiles and his eyes gleam with excitement.

I sit on his lap sideways and flop my legs over his thighs and he wraps the cover back over us and I settle down on his lap and he kisses my cheek. We unpause the movie and settle in to watch again and It wasn't long before I dozed off to sleep and placed my face in the crook of his neck.

I could feel him brushing my hair back and behind my ear. He whispers my name and I wake up. "What's going on? I'm sorry I fell asleep."

"It's ok baby girl let's get you up to bed and doctor your legs before sleep." He said.

He carries me upstairs to my room and sets me on the bed and helps me to change into his big shirt and then he grabs the ointment and bandages and fixes my legs up.

"I really appreciate all you are doing for me Ridge and I won't forget it," I said.

"It's nothing to worry about." He leans in and barely brushes his lips to mine.

"Will you lay with me? I don't want to be alone tonight." I said.

"Sure just let me go change and I'll be back." He said.

I get in the bed and lay down pulling the covers up I lay on my back waiting for him to return. He walks back in with a pair of red boxer shorts on and no shirt. He cuts the light off and walks over to the bed and gets in.

"Do you work tomorrow?" I ask.

"Yeah 8-5 then off Saturday and don't forget to ask Abby and Lonnie to come by and I'll stop and get the meats so you don't have to go through an ordeal." He said.

"Oh it's ok I don't mind to go get the food I'll just ask Dylan or someone to help me," I said.

"I don't want you to do that Alorah because I feel bad with you barely walking." He said.

"I don't walk Ridge I ride the pee wagon."

"What the hell is a pee wagon?" He laughs.

"You know the electric cart." I laugh.

"I have never in my life heard that called a pee wagon but I could see old people peeing in them." He laughs again.

"If Lonnie and Abby are down for Saturday then I'll get it figured out and maybe you want to invite your mom over too?" I said.

"I will ask her if you want me too but she doesn't stay home often she's always out and about with her friends from her community." He said.

"That how I would want to live when I get old and maybe even find me a boyfriend or two." I giggle.

"Ok, now that's enough we can't talk about threesomes in the old folks home." He laughs.

I scoot closer to him with my back pressed to his front. "Your right lets get some sleep since we have to get up early tomorrow and thanks for sleeping in here with me goodnight Ridge."

"Good Night Alorah." He says while pulling me closer and wrapping his arm around my waist.
