After getting my legs wrapped I decided to stop at the store and get things to make spaghetti. Maybe Abby will help me out some.

I make it in to the store and over to an electric cart Eww I hate these pee wagons but I need something because I can't walk.

I zoom up the aisle where spaghetti items are and an older lady is in the aisle as well.

"Sweetie do you need some help?" She asks.

"Yes please, I didn't think this through before coming in here." I laugh.

"I haven't seen you around before," she said.

"Yeah, I kinda ended up in this state when I had a car accident and got burned." I show her my wrapped legs.

"Ohhh your the one staying with Ridge.
I'm Brian's Mallory's mom."

"Ok okay! Nice to meet you. I'm Alorah." I smile.

"I'm Patricia." She smiles... "Now show me what you need and I will gladly help you."

"Thank you so much. You are much nicer than Brian." I laugh.

After she helps me get all of the items I need I proceed to the checkout.

A real cheery girl waited on me and a young guy bagged my groceries.

"Is it possible to help me to the car with my stuff? I can't use my legs much right now.

"Yes ma'am" he smiles.

We make it out to the car and he turns around. "I would know this car anywhere! This is Ridge's car. How come you have it?"

"He let me borrow it because I live with him." I smile.

"Oh, you're the one that got burnt in the car." He said.

"I'm Alorah. Gosh, this town is nosey! Nice to meet you." I smile.

"I'm Dylan and Ridge used to be my mentor and he took me for a ride a few times. You must be important to drive this car because he doesn't let no one touch it."

"Well he's working and I have to get to the hospital daily so he lets me drive it but I'm hoping to get a car soon but I really like driving this one." I laugh.

"I don't blame ya it's nice." Dylan smiles.

"Thanks, Dylan, and here ya go." I hand him a tip.

"Thanks, Alorah! see ya around."

When I make it back to Ridge house Abby and Miles pull up behind me.

"Hey, guys! Sorry, I stopped at the store, and well it wasn't as easy as it was in my head." I laugh.

"Here let us help carry the bags," Abby says.

"I appreciate it and I was hoping you guys would help me with the meal. Miles you think you can help roll meatballs?"

"Oh yeah! Do I get to eat some?" He smiles.

"Sure you can so come on let's wash our hands and start," I said climbing the steps to the house.

"I'm excited Alorah!!" Miles screams while holding my hand.

I can't help but giggle at his excitement. "Ok Miles let's get you inside on the stool and I'll show you how to roll the meatballs ok?" We walk inside to the kitchen.

"Mommy lift me up!" He smiles.

Abby laughs. "Ok hold your horses we have to get your hands washed first."

Abby is doing the cleaning up while Miles and I make a mess.

"Mommy look! I made a ball!" He said.

"I see that! Don't throw it though because it's food." She said.

"Mommy is silly and I know it's food. It's for Uncle Ridge." He said and giggles.

"Oh but you and mommy can have some too," I said.

"Can I take some to daddy?" He asks.

"Of course you can because I bet your daddy would want some too." I smile.

Abby laughs. "You haven't got the chance to meet Jacob but he works all the time and never has free time."

"Well, I hope to meet him soon. What does he do?" I ask.

"He's a lawyer." She smiles.

"I might need one of those at some point but I don't want to talk about it right now but I will tell you." I smile at her.

"I would like that a lot so how are things going with my brother?" She asks.

"Good he has really helped me. Who am I kidding he helps me do almost everything." I say.

"I know I shouldn't say it but he really likes you because he would of never let just anyone stay with him much less drive his car."

"That's what Dylan told me," I said.

"Who?" Abby asked.

"Bagboy at the grocery store. He told me that Ridge was his mentor."

"Oh yeah, I remember him. Nice kid." She smiles.

"Brian's mom Patricia helped me in the store to get my items and she seemed really nice," I said.

"Oh she is but she knows everyone's business before you do." Abby laughs

"Miles you have done such a good job and this is going to taste soooo good. Want to go swimming till it's done?" I ask.

"Can you swim with me Alorah?" He smiles.

"I wish but I can't with my legs hurt but maybe soon," I said.

"Miles go get your floaties and we will be right out and don't get in that water until we come out," Abby said.

"Ok, mommy. I'll get them!" He said and runs off.

Abby grabbed us a glass of lemonade she made and we headed out to the chairs. The sun was shining but I needed to be in the shade because of my legs.

"The water looks so pretty and warm Miles go show me how you can swim," I said.

"Watch this Alorah!" He jumps on the step but not into the water.

"That's awesome Miles!" I smile at him.

"All he talks about is you at home and Jacob asked who you were because he thought Miles had found a girlfriend somewhere." Abby giggles.

"That's really funny and you know what I am usually not a kid person but I really like him and I never had a chance to be around kids besides at work," I said.

About an hour later Abby and Miles left and I went back to the kitchen to stir what was left of the spaghetti. It had been done for a while now and I gave a bunch to Abby for their dinner since they helped so much.

I walked back out to the pool since the sun had gone down and I went over to the steps and put my feet in the water. Oh, I wish I could swim looking down at the water I love swimming so maybe after this heals If I'm still here that is.

I'm all into my new phone when the back door opens.

"I was wondering where you were," Ridge smiles.

"I was just waiting for you so that we can eat." I smile.

"Whatever that is a smells delicious." He says.

"It's spaghetti! Let's go eat." I grab his arm and pull him behind me inside.
