*Harry's POV*

I rinsed the shampoo out of my hair and slung a towel around my hips, water still dripping off my hair as I walked into the bedroom.

"Sorry," Norah mumbled as she continued stuffing her clothes into a large suitcase. "I didn't know you were- sorry."

"It's fine," I replied tightly. "Where are you going?"

"What do you mean?"

"You're packing all your clothes into a bag, Nor. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out."

"I thought I would stay in a hotel," she said quietly. "I um, I just-"

"You want to leave?"

She brushed a wet strand of hair behind her ear and looked down, her eyes beginning to water as she continued packing with shaking hands.

"Of course I don't want to leave."

"Then why are you?"

"Because I'm in the way here."

I slipped on a T-shirt and some sweatpants, then moved to stand beside her.

"Norah."

She didn't look up.

"Norah," I repeated, my voice a little louder this time. "Look at me."

She reluctantly stopped moving her hands and peered up at me through her thick lashes, her eyes closing as my hands cupped her face.

"You're not in the way," I said softly. "Princess, I want you here. I love having you next to me."

"You have everything you need here," she mumbled as she shrugged me off. "I'm just here for meetings, nothing else."

"I don't understand this," I scowled. "Two hours ago we were f.ucking at my office and now you won't even look at me."

"Because two hours ago, I was thinking about myself," she shook her head. "Now I'm thinking about you. You're happy, you're successful, and you have a really good setup here."

"I don't give two shits about my setup," I muttered as she resumed packing. "It's not a good setup unless you're in it."

She let out a deep sigh. "There's nothing wrong with staying in a hotel, Harry."

"It's a waste of money for your company!"

"Harry-"

"No," I cut her off. "You're staying here. I don't care if I have to tie you to this bed, you're going to stay with me."

"I- fine."

She slumped her shoulders and gave me a weak smile as she left my room. I also realized that she turned the wrong way, so instead of going towards downstairs, she was going to my office.

I followed the sound of her small footsteps down the hall, then into the last door on the right.

"I thought-" she mumbled, scratching her head in the most adorable way. "I was sure this led to the kitchen."

"You took a left darling, it should've been a right."

She seemed startled that I followed her but she brushed it off and nodded, then bumped my shoulder as she walked out.

"Norah," I called after her. "Come here for a sec."

I walked behind my desk and opened the first drawer, placing the small red box where she could see it.

She swallowed hard. "Yes?"

"Open it."

She took the box and opened it slowly, her face transforming into surprise and happiness as she took the necklace out.

"Harry," she laughed, holding it up in the sunlight. "It's beautiful."

It was a simple gold chain with a small crescent moon at the end, the surface studded with diamonds and her name engraved in tiny cursive letters on the back.

"I bought it five years ago," I grinned, sitting back in my chair. "I saved up money for like a year and a half and I was going to give it to you but..."

"Help me put it on," she rolled her eyes. I chuckled and fixed the tiny clasp around her neck, my fingers dragging against her warm skin while she sighed.

"I'm sorry I talked to you like that," I mumbled into her still-damp hair. "It was mean."

"I kind of deserved it," she shook her head as she turned to face me. "Just don't bring it up again and we're fine."

"Deal."

She nuzzled her face into my chest and I wrapped my arms around her small body, my cheek resting on her head. This was perfect, this was everything I wanted with her but I was too scared to say it. Why was I so scared?

I was usually the one to play girls off, usually I was cool and collected and they were the ones that got hurt. Karma, I guess.

"This is wonderful," she mumbled into my shirt. "Being alone with you is...well, wonderful."

"I-"

My phone began ringing loudly and I pressed it to my ear, my jaw tightening when I heard Victoria's voice.

"Not a great time," I muttered. Norah wrapped her arms around my waist and I realized that her eyes were closing, her head was nodding slightly like she was falling asleep. Swimming must have really tired her out, how freaking adorable.

"Sir, I think I just received a threat."

"A threat?" I frowned, rubbing Norah's back in small circles. "From who?"

"I don't know, sir, it was just slipped in my mail slot and I...Mr. Styles?"

"Yes?"

"I'm scared."

"It's going to be alright," I said calmly. "Victoria, just take a deep breath and tell me what the note says."

"'Tell Styles to watch his back.' And then it has all these pictures of me. Like leaving your house, at work, in front of my house. And Mr. Styles, one of them has 'That's my girl' written on it."

"Shit," I cursed, my hand going to my hair. "F.ucking hell. Go to my flat, go now."

"What-"

"Now!" I yelled, startling Norah awake. "Just, hurry."

"What's going on?" Norah asked softly. "Hey, what happened?"

My chest was rising and falling so quickly I couldn't even get a grip on my breathing, my throat felt like it was closing up as her hand rested on my cheek.

"Someone has been listening to us," I mumbled as she frowned slightly.

"Wait, what? How do you know that?"

"Someone left a note at Victoria's house."

"What did it say?"

"I don't want you to worry," I changed the subject easily. "Just go lay down and I'll get you after I take care of something."

"Fine, yeah," she nodded reluctantly. "But you're scaring me, Har."

"I know baby," I sighed, brushing my hand along her jaw. "I'm sorry."

"Just hurry, okay? I don't want to be alone."

"Of course."

She left and I went immediately to security, where the two guards were just staring at screens. Why I pay them so much, I'll never know.

"Boss," the older one greeted. "This is the new trainee, Brian."

"Yeah, hi," I brushed him off. "What the hell is going on with our cameras?"

"What do you mean, sir? There's no suspicious activity on any of the monitors."

"Someone left a note at my secretary's house. A note with something I said on it. Something I said in a personal conversation."

They both looked a little scared and I didn't blame them, I was f ucking terrified and I was one second away from punching something.

"Sir, we can do a check of all the systems but it's your security system. Isn't it impenetrable, sir?"

"Yes, it is," I seethed, gritting my teeth together. "Do not question my system, Burt."

"It's Brian, sir."

"Whatever. Just shut the damn things off and post a man at every entrance. No one in or out, understand me?"

They both nodded and I went as quickly as I could back up to my bedroom, only to find Norah holding a small envelope in her hands as she sat cross legged on my bed.

"What is that?"

"I'm not sure," she shrugged, setting it down on the nightstand. "One of your people handed it to me when I was walking up here."

"Hm."

"You can open it, Har," she laughed lightly. "I don't mind."

I slid my finger across the top and pulled out the slip of paper, which smelled like Norah. A lot like Norah.

"This smells like you," I mumbled, holding it out to her. She smelled it and frowned, but shrugged again.

"Yeah, I guess. It could be a coincidence."

"No one else wears your old Chanel perfume, babe."

"I have to order it online from this special store each month," she giggled. "What does it say?"

I read the note. Then I read it again. And again. And again.

'I'm going to make you feel so good. Sweetheart, you have no idea.

Tell Styles to watch his back.'

"Norah," I muttered, my eyes never leaving the thin paper. "Go pack your bags."

"Why? What's the matter?"

"Just go pack," I sighed. "We're staying in a hotel tonight."
