DOUBLE UPDATE!!!!!!!!!

sorry for the dry spell :/

*Norah's POV*

"Norah Allison," the nurse called from the doorway. "Come on back, honey."

My heart was thudding in my chest as I grabbed my purse and stood up, our shoes clicking in unison as I followed her down a long hallway and to a scale.

"Take your shoes off and step up here," the nurse instructed with a kind smile. "Huh, interesting."

"What?" I looked at her with wide eyes and she patted my arm.

"Nothing, dear. Just follow me back to your room and Dr. Pearson will see you as soon as she can."

I situated myself on the crinkly white paper on the table and slid my hands under my thighs, my bare feet swinging nervously in the air as I waited. Finally, I decided to text Harry.

To: Harry
I think I might have Ebola or something

His reply was almost instantaneous.

From: Harry
Don't be dramatic, darling. I'm sure you're fine

To: Harry
Is that the last thing you want to say to me??

"Miss Allison, so nice to finally meet you!" A young woman said cheerily as the door swung open suddenly. She was average height and had brown hair and brown eyes, but she was pretty. I also noticed a very large, very intricate engagement ring on her finger. Harry must know her from his rich people club.

"Oh, you too!" I replied, trying to mirror her enthusiasm. "Harry has told me so many good things about you."

"Ditto!" She laughed lightly. "Okay, so what's up? My nurse said you were having stomach pains and nausea?"

"And I felt like I was going to pass out, which is really unusual for me."

"Okay. And I see here that you went to the doctor three months ago as well. Was that for the same reason?"

"No, that time I thought I was pregnant."

She turned to me with a big smile on her lips. "How exciting! I can only imagine what a baby between you and Harry would look like."

I laughed and she scribbled a few things down before looking in my throat, eyes, ears, and doing all the other basic tests like blood pressure and a swab for mono.

"Nothing visibly wrong," she sighed as she pressed on my stomach and back. "You haven't been out of the country recently?"

"Not even close."

"Have you taken a pregnancy test?"

I swallowed hard. "Um, no."

"Have you been having regular periods?"

"I-I'm not sure," I answered honestly. "I've been so stressed with work and the house that I haven't really been paying attention."

"Do you use protection every time?"

I had to suppress a laugh. "No."

The thought of Harry pausing to get a condom almost made me laugh outright, especially since our sex was so spontaneous that we couldn't possibly keep enough in our house.

"Well, here you go," she smiled, holding out the small white stick to me. "Bathroom is down the hall, bring it back when you're finished."

I felt like I was in a trance as I walked down the hall and into the bathroom, locking the door behind me and standing in the silence as the thudding in my chest became almost painful.

*Harry's POV*

I hadn't gotten a text from Norah in an hour and fifteen minutes and I was starting to get worried, which was now affecting my ability to work. I was one second away from grabbing my keys, driving to the doctor's office, and waltzing into the room where Norah was so I could throw her over my shoulder and get some information.

Fortunately for her, my phone rang at that exact second.

"Baby," I sighed, resting my head in my hands. "I was starting to get worried."

"It took longer than I thought it would," she answered with a small laugh. Well she was in a good mood, I guess she didn't have the flu after all. "I'm sorry for not texting you back."

I chuckled. "Don't worry about it."

"Well there's nothing really wrong with me," she said carefully. "But I am starving. Can you still do lunch?"

"Looking forward to it."

"Okay, the restaurant is only a block or two from here so I'm going to walk. I'll text you the address."

"Thanks, babe. Love you."

"Love you too."

I got my jacket and drove to the little café, where Norah was already waiting in the sunshine. She looked so beautiful and perfect I almost thought about taking a picture and having it painted or something.

After pondering the issue for a second I climbed out and gave her a small kiss, which put the most adorable smile on her face. I really was the luckiest guy in the world.

*Norah's POV*

We were sat at a small table outside in the sunshine, near a couple with two small children and a baby. They never stopped arguing.

"Jesus," Harry rolled his eyes. "I can get us moved if-"

"No, no, I like this table," I smiled sweetly as I laid my hand over his. "Please?"

"Whatever you want, princess."

"Har, I have to tell you something," I said as our waitress set down a bottle of wine.

"Shoot, babe."

He poured himself a glass and started to pour mine but I stopped him, putting a very curious expression on his beautiful face.

"I can't drink, Har."

He appeared dumbfounded for another second before a look of realization crossed his face and he leaned back, his hands covering his mouth as I giggled.

"S-Seriously?" He asked incredulously as I felt my eyes begin to water. Just looking at him I knew that he was as happy as I was. "Are you serious? You're-you're really...?"

"I took a test today," I laughed as a fat tear rolled down my cheek. "Harry, I'm pregnant."
