A month has passed by and I haven't seen the woman again. Levi is doing better so we aren't doing therapy as much.

On the nights I stay home he is so sad and texts me constantly. Sometimes I feel like I need time alone to figure out what we are doing.

I got off work a little bit ago and made it home to shower. I am not feeling well and feel like I'm coming down with something. I just want to go to sleep.

My phone starts ringing and I grab it off the bed.

📞Hey Levi!

📞Hey Avah how is it going?

📞I just got home and got a shower. I'm about to lay down. I'm not feeling so good.

📞What's wrong?

📞I just feel sick to my stomach and tired. I plan to take a long nap.

📞Ok well since I'm up moving around I plan to do some washing and ill let you nap. Call me later if you wake up ok?

📞I will Levi. Thanks for checking on me.

📞No problem I miss you.

📞I miss you too bye for now.

📞Bye babe.

I get in bed and cover-up and dozed off to sleep.

When I wake up it's dark in the apartment and I get up and cut on some lights before going to the bathroom. I'm still feeling sick.

I walk over to the bed to call Levi. I know he will be worried.

📞Hey sleepyhead.

📞Hey there! I just woke up.

📞That's what I figured. How are you feeling?

📞Still nauseated and tired.

📞I'm sorry, you do. Maybe you need to try and eat a cracker or something.

📞Maybe. I was going to try and come over but I'm afraid I have a bug and I don't want Violet or you to get it.

📞I understand I just miss you and Violet wanted to know where you were.

📞I'm sorry, Levi. If this persists ill call my Dr.

📞Good because you know I worry.

📞I'm going to get a cracker or two and try to eat that and then just go back to sleep. Obviously, I need to sleep.

📞Yeah, I tend to keep you up huh?

📞Yes, you do but it's ok. I miss you holding me.

📞If I could drive I would be there with you.

📞I know but it's ok. I'll text or call you in the morning ok?

📞Ok, I hope you feel better Avah. I miss you.

📞I miss you too Levi. Goodnight.

📞Nite babe.

I lay my phone down and head to the kitchen in search of crackers and maybe a ginger ale in the fridge.

When I make it to the kitchen this overwhelming feeling of puking hits me and I puke in the sink.  Oh boy, this is going to be a long night.

I grab a bag of crackers and ginger ale from the fridge and head back to bed. I scroll through Facebook for a few minutes then lay back down. I may not make it to work tomorrow.

The next morning when I wake up I still feel so sick. But I'm going to try to go to work. I get in the shower hoping that helps but it doesn't.

Once dressed and ready to go I text Levi.

📱Good morning! I am still feeling sick but I'm going on to work. I hope you're ok. I miss you. 😘

📱I'm sorry that you are still sick. I miss you too. Hope to see you later. 😉

I throw my phone down in my bag with my gun and grab my paperwork and head to the elevator.

Once at work, Melly walks into my office and her eyes get big. "What's the matter you look terrible."

"Thanks, Mel." I laugh. "I started feeling horrible last night so I went to my apartment and slept the night away. Maybe a bug or something," I said.

"If you need to go home I can cover your clients today." She said.

"Thanks, I'll let you know." I smile.

After lunch, I was feeling worse so I put a call into my Dr's office and they told me to come on in. I gather up my things and tell Melly bye and head on to the doctor office.

I pull up at the Dr's office and text Levi.

📱I'm feeling worse so I just made it to my doctor's office ill call you when I get out.

📱I'm glad you made an appointment. Let me know.😍

📱I will. 😘

I put my phone in my pocket and grab my bag and head inside to check-in. Around ten minutes later they call my name.

I feel like I'm waiting forever and I just lay down on the bed. I feel so sick I can't hold my head up.

The door opened and when Dr. Smith saw me she frowned. "Avah what in the world?" She asked.

"I feel terrible. I've been throwing up and just nauseated." I said.

"Let's get some bloodwork and a urine sample and swab for the flu and go from there ok?" She said.

"Thank you," I said.

A few minutes later a nurse came in and drew blood and then gave me a cup to pee in. I walked down the hall to the restroom and do that before going back to lay on the bed.

Dr. Smith walked back in. "Well, you don't have the flu just waiting on blood work just stay in here and rest." She said.

I shook my head and closed my eyes. I actually fell asleep when Dr. Smith came back in.

"Well, Avah I have a clear conclusion as to what is wrong with you." She said looking down at her paperwork.

"Well don't leave me in suspense." I laugh sitting up.

"Your not sick Avah your pregnant." She said.

"Pregnant? I can't be pregnant." I said.

"Are you sexually active?" She asked.

"Yeah well I have been with one person my boyfriend for a couple of months I mean it's possible I'm just shocked." I ramble.

"Looks like your 5 weeks. I need you to come back in a month and we will check again." She said.

Everything else was a blur until I got home.
