Suhani's POV

After a while...I stopped sobbing and left his arm carefully...looking out of the car window...

Rudra was sitting in the front passenger seat...he tried to lighten my mood with his dad's jokes...
"What does a house wear..? "he asked.

He stopped waiting for my response.

I said "What.. ??" a bit gloomy.

"A-dress...."he  said making cute faces.

I slightly giggled.

"Not so good.." he said to himself.

"Okay so..what does baby corn say to MAMA corn ?

I thought a little and asked what...?

"Popcorn... "he said giggling.

I chuckled a little.

He got encouraged by it.

"Who is your favorite cricketer..?? "he asked again out of nowhere.

I was taken aback by this sudden interrogation....nevertheless I replied captain cool...

(FYI I love MSD 😄)

"Do you know how he remains so cool??"

Rudra asked again...I got confused...

"How..?? "

"cause he has so many FANNsssss..." Came a girly squeaky voice from my beside.

Me and Rudra were shell shocked and then burst into fits of laughter...looking at Gaurav who was now looking out of the window far away...slightly embarrassed still maintaining his composure...

Gaurav's POV

Ahh... That was embarrassing but still worth it as she laughed her heart out with Rudra....forgetting her misery.....

As we reached the mansion people were standing and waiting for their dear Daughter in law.....

As I looked at her she was not gloomy as before....she was normal now...

As we stepped out of the car she became unbalance and hold my hand.......our eyes met...we were looking at each other intently...

"Ahem ahem..."Mamma bought us back to the ground.

Third Person POV

They entered the house slightly blushing...

Sandhya performed Aarti...ordered Suhani to dip her hand in turmeric water and imprint them on the sidewall....she did so....entered the house by slowly kicking the kalash with rice by her right foot.....

then she dipped her feet in the red water and made imprints till the Pooja room led by Sandhya....

She lit the lamp and prayed to God to give strength,health and wealth to her new family and guide her in this new phase of life...

Now this was the time for a fun ritual....

Suhani's POV

Rudra came with a big pot filled with rose petals....he kept it between me and Gaurav.

"In this ritual winner will dominate the marriage..."said Sandhya Mamma.

Ohh...so I have to Fight for Dominance...

Interesting...

"The one who will find the ring first will be the winner...there will be three rounds...i will drop the ring and stir it and then you will begin... "said Sandhya Mamma excitedly.

First round he won gaining hooting from his cousins..

I won't let him win this easily...

I searched for the ring desperately...our hands touched some times but I didn't mind it...i sensed something metallic I took it in my hands but before I could do so Gaurav grabbed it...but me being quick with my reflexes snatched the ring by digging my nails into his hands... I showed the ring to everyone. From the corner of my eyes I could see a fuming Gaurav.

"Second round winner is Suhani... " Rudra said excitedly.

"Now last and deciding round... "said Sandhya Mamma throwing the ring again into the pot.

Gaurav and I glanced at each other challengingly.

I soon found the metallic object...I was smiling as I will dominate this EGO ki DUKAN .... But soon my smile dropped as the other half of the ring was in hold of his hand.

Sandhya Mamma laughed.

"You both will balance each other..."she said smiling eye to eye.

Rudra demanded for one more round but Sandhya Mamma denied as its a ritual and not a game.

I was sent to Gaurav's room....or say Our room.....by some of his cousin sisters. The room was filled with aroma of scented candles and bed was filled with rose petals It was beautiful and calming but as I realised it was the preparation for wedding night I started sweating profusely.....I was happy with wedding rituals but this oh no..... His sisters made me sit in the middle of the bed....they moved out of the room and came back after a while with Papads in their hands....I was surprised but they told me not to move and put all those papads under the bed sheet around me...i was nervous but now equally excited to see his reaction...

They chatted with me for a while making me comfortable by cracking jokes and all....

Soon we heard a knock...they sat up to leave....

After sometime they moved out of the door saying Bhaiya dhyanse....giggling.(brother be careful)

He locked the door walked toward to me to  lift my veil....

I was nervous but was waiting for him to sit on the bed....

As he walked toward the bed and sat ...

"Crack...Crack... "

He was shocked, astonished, confused and what not....I burst into laughter.....he furiously came toward me lifted veil....

"You enjoyed it didn't you...."he said in deep husky voice holding my wrist coming closer.....our faces were inches apart.... I closed my eyes not knowing what to do mentally praying to God to save me...

He released my wrist and got up from the bed....removed those cracked papads..

I opened my eyes holding hand together....thanking God underbreath...

"Not so soon sweety...."

I gulped as he came closer to me...

He hold my hand....searching something in them....

Oh may be he was searching for his name in my mehndi...

He furrowed his eyebrow....I smirked as he was loosing....but soon his face lit up... He looked at me smirking...

"I found it.... "

"Good for you..now leave my hand I have to change...."

"Why so soon let me give you your gift.... "he said reducing the little distance between us.....i started moving backwards to maintain the distance but soon I was trapped between the bedrest and his body.... Unable to handle our proximity I was blushing profusely.....

He leaned closer and I closed my eyes in a reflex.He snaked his arm around my waist and I could feel breath fanning my neck . His mere touch made me have goosebumps all over my body.

He moved his hands away from my waist pinching it slightly.

"Aauu..." I cried.

"This was for scratching my hands...."said Gaurav placing a white box in my hand.
I opened the box to found a beautiful golden pendent laced with diamonds...simple yet elegant the way I like as I was smiling like a idiot admiring a pendent.

"Don't get your hopes high Mamma choose it and told me to give it to you.... With that he went to the washroom to change.

I moved towards the dressing table to remove the jewelry.

As I was struggling to remove the necklace...i felt a pair of hands help ing me in the process...through the mirror I saw Gaurav in black comfy wear...making him look hotter and his wet hairs were not helping me but to adore my hubby...what...?? hubby he is still the same EGO ki DUKAN...

He smirked as I realised I was staring at him...i looked away in embarrassment...

"Done...." he said plaacing his chin in the crook of my neck.

"Want my help to change... Or...." he said smirking...

"In your dream..." I said hitting him with elbows harshly...he stood there shocked holding his abdomen in pain... I smirked at him... And walked to the washroom to change into comfy clothes.

I did a quick shower.As I entered the room gaurav was no where to find.

I was happy as I jumped into the bed covered myself with duvet... soon driven into the dreamland.

Gaurav's POV

As I got into the room I found her sleeping soundly... She was looking rather cute,incoccent soul she was....

But where am I suppose to sleep now...my bed was under her possession....so being the gentleman I am I tried to sleep on the couch but I wasn't able to take a nap. How can she sleep on my bed whilst I am adjusting in the couch.

I stoodup went toward the bed and slided into the duvet softly.
comfortable drifting into the dreamland.

"Ahh.. "

She kicked ME out of MY bed..... How dare she... My stern expression turn soft as she was sleeping soundly...looking at her my anger went into thin air she was looking so cute and beautiful at the same time...sleeping on couch was way too uncomfortable...i took out a mattress laid it on floor with duvet and pillow...and fall into slumber.

Next day

It was six in the morning....i got up looked at her...pouting like baby..

Finding no reason to wake up my Sleeping Beauty...I went to do morning routine.....

As I moved out of the washroom she was sitting in the middle of bed struggling to open her eyes.

"You slept on the floor... "she asked looking at the matteress I left there...

Should I tell her that she kicked me out of my own bed....On that's hella embarrassing.

"Yeah... "

"Oh..Good.. "She said moving out of the bed toward her luggage she took out some cloths and went to the washroom.

"Suhani Gaurav....Are you guys up...??" Mamma.

I moved forward and removed the matteres from the floor stuffed with pillow and duvet into the closet and open the door leaving no evidence for my dear Sherlock Mamma.

"Yes Mamma..."

She entered the room.

'"Where is Suhani??she asked.

I signaled her toward the washroom.
She formed her lips in a "O".

"Tell her to do fast as she is going to prepare for breakfast."she ordered and I nodded.
With that she walked out of the room.

I knocked washroom door twice.

"What.."she shouted some what irritated.

"Mamma said do fast as you are going to prepare the breakfast..." I yelled loud enough for her to hear.

"Okay... " she replied.

With that I moved out of our room to study... I have to fax some documents of an early meeting to my secretory...this was the reason I got out of the room at night and she caught it as a opportunity to sleep on my bed....
As I remembered the moments we shared yestreen....i have never been this close to any girl....especially this beautiful..My ear were painted red.

"Enjoyed your wedding night... "Rudra said coming out of nowhere.

"I have to fax some important documents....i don't have time for your nonsense..."with that I shoved his hand from my shoulder.

"They must have enjoyed it well... "he said giggling.

After faxing documents I went down for breakfast.

Suhani's POV

It was 6:45 my alarm rang at it full pace as I confirmed it and sat on the bed thinking...where is he... Does he slept with me without my permission..... Just then I opened my eyes a little found a matteress on the floor...Oh he must have slept on floor just then washroom knob turned reveling a freshly looking Gaurav.

"You slept on floor..."just to confirm I asked him.

"Yeah..."

Well I wasn't expecting him to be this gentlemen...i thought he would wake me up in night to make me sleep on couch.

"Oh..Good.."I said taking my clothes from my luggage walking to washroom.

Morning shower are freshening.

Knock knock...

Who knock the washroom door...he should have waited for me to finish...i wasn't going to live in here anyways...

"What.." I shouted.

"Mamma said do fast as you have to prepare the breakfast..." he yelled.

"Okay..." I replied in case he thought I didn't heard him start yelling like an idiot again.

As I went out the washroom Gaurav was nowhere to find...without caring much about his whereabouts...I moved out of our room.

I greeted Dad and Mamma..

"God bless you beta... "

"Best of luck for your assignment..."dad said.

I looked at Mamma...

"You have to prepare the breakfast today as a ritual..."she said.

"I love cooking and eating both..."I said stepping into the kitchen with Mamma.

"Gaurav help her...."she said to Gaurav who was moving toward the dinning table completely shocked by his Mamma's sudden demand.

"How will he help me....?? I know how to cook. "I said trying to convince her.

But the point she put forward was correct.
