The doctor had come in and taken the breathing machine off, because Jungwon was able to do it on his own now.

Mostly everyone had went home to make sure the house was ready for Jungwon.

Now just Seonwoo sat with him.

Jungwon was explaining everything that happened between him and Lily to Seonwoo.

"So...she gave you her power?", Seonwoo said.

"She did. Now it's my choice to use it for good."

"Oh okay."

"Also, you can talk. Last time I saw you, you were barely able to talk and had only said one word."

"Friends have been working with me. We all help with speech...and...I go to speech therapist."

"That's good. I'm happy to be back. I get to take care of you all again."

"This time we take care of you!"

"That's nice of you. I wanted to ask, about the car accident."

Seonwoo stopped smiling.

He looked towards the window, raising his hands to his chest.

"If it's too much, I won't ask again."

"It's okay. We all made it."

"Good. Good. No one was hurt badly were they?"

"Uh...well..."

"Seonwoo. Tell me. I know you all survived, but how has it effected them?"

"Taehyun has nightmares. Bad ones. Kai tries to help him, but he's still dealing with his own issues from what Lily did to him."

"I thought he was okay?"

"They were. But after the accident, new issues started coming up. But...don't worry Wonie. We are all working on it."

"Maybe I can help? I mean, I have Lily's powers, maybe I can fix them."

"I don't know about that. They're tired from being manipulated by her. So having you do it would hurt them more."

"Hmm."

The two sat there.

Jungwon was wondering how to continue with this new part of him.

What should he do with his powers?

"Wonie?"

"Yeah?"

"Lily said you were stronger than me and Kai. That's why she ended up choosing you to inherit her powers."

"True."

"Do you believe she wants you to pass them down as well? When you get older?"

"Maybe. It's a generational thing I guess. Do you...and Hyun...still have your abilities?"

"Yeah, we do. Taehyun and Sunghoon made an ice skating area together last week."

"Hehe, cool....wait what?"

"What?"

"Taehyun and Sunghoon made it? How?"

"Taehyun used his water powers and-"

"Wait! Wait. Wait. Wait. Don't tell me you all have different abilities now."

"Hihihihi, we do. That's how we survived the horrible accident. Our powers made us somewhat invincible."

"Everyone?"

"Everyone."

"So...what do you all have?"

"I made list. Here, look at it."

Seonwoo opened his purse and pulled out a notebook.

He handed it to Jungwon, who opened it to reveal a colorfully written page.

Seon's Journal

Day One: Are we the avengers?

Today, we discovered something unusual about all of us. The car accident changed us. Somehow we all made it. I hope Wonie wakes up so he can see it too.

Did Lily help us live? Will she help Wonie? Who cares about her anyway.

We all have powers now! We're like superheroes!

I can see the future.

Taehyun has water.

Sunghoon has frost. He's like a snowman according to Soobin.

Speaking of Soobin, he has wind.

Yeonjun and Heeseung have twin powers of nature. I saw Yeonjun make a berry bush last night.

Kai has something special. He calls it darkness. He can manipulate light, darkness, and all things in the night.

Niki is the opposite. He uses electricity. If Kai makes it dark, Niki can turn the lights back on.

Beomgyu is really fast, and really strong. He got me out of the car after we crashed by pulling the side off. He's so cool.

Jake can talk to animals. And if he talks long enough, he can gain some of their attributes.

Jay is unique. I really like his power. He has spectral manipulation. He can see ghosts, he can talk to them. He can feel them. Niki almost didn't survive the accident, but Jay saved him.

We're all special. I'm finally something my parents can be proud of.

My mom called me last night. She misses me. I miss her too. Maybe when I can talk again, I can respond. For now, Heeseung speaks for me.

He's sweet. I like him. A lot.

Jungwon smiled at the letter.

It was nice Seonwoo kept track of this.

They had so much to get used to, and to learn. They had so much to explore about their own lives now.

"So where is MaiMai?", Jungwon asked.

"She's probably following Taehyun around. She's for both of us now, since our prior issues aren't as severe."

"That's good. Man...life has changed so much."

"It has."

Seonwoo suddenly stood up. He looked around the room.

"You okay?"

He paused, staring forward. After a few seconds he blinked.

"Did you see something Seonwoo? Was it your powers?"

"Yeah. I saw Kai."

"What was he doing?"

"He's sad. And...angry. I could see the darkness surrounding him."

"That's not good."

"I'll talk to him and tell him what I saw later. For now, let's focus on you."

"What about me."

"You have Lily's power. What exactly could Lily do?"

"Whatever she felt like doing."

"I'm serious Wonie."

"Well, she was like Jay, in a way. She can manipulate the dead, but she can also manipulate dreams, and get in people's mind."

"If she could get in people's minds, is it possible you could see my visions?"

"Like, see the future through your eyes?"

"Maybe."

"It's possible. This is kind of cool. Lily made us superheroes."

"Maybe we're destined to save the world."

"We could be. A group of boys and their strange dog team up to save the world from doom."

"Sounds like a movie plot. I'm down for it."

The two got quiet for a second.

They mutually felt something change in the air.

Seonwoo looked at Jungwon.

"Wonie. Maybe we were right."

"About the movie plot?"

"No, about saving the world."

"So you feel it too?"

Seonwoo looked out of the window.

The wind was picking up, almost like a storm was coming in. The clouds got darker, and a menacing presence was felt in the room.

"I think I know why Lily gave you her powers."

"Why?"

"She knew something bad was coming. Just like I saw..."

Seonwoo got closer to Jungwon.

"We have a new danger to look out for."

"What is it?"

Seonwoo looked back outside.

The swirling winds and darkening clouds only meant one thing.

"Kai."
