I know I can do it. But do you know that I can do it?

Y/N's P.O.V-

'I have sent you the inside planning of the dorm. Check it out.' I nodded as the voice from the other side instructed and fixed my eyes on my phone.

'According to the source, the confidential were taken to the dorm just today and it confirmed about those being still inside there. You will find two blue files with 'Task 28' written on it. Those are the birds we are targeting on.'

'Hmm, but Momo, one thing. I just have a regular gun and a knife...with me, perhaps?'

'It's a sneaking mission so you won't really require much. Better if you try to use none unless an emergency comes by, and leave spotless as spotless.'

I parked the car beside a sidewall, far enough to keep it out of distinct vision. Fixing my baggy sweater and jeans, I pulled up my hair into a bun and placed a beanie. Gun secured under the shirt and mini knife covert within the hand band, I unlocked the door and started. The cold breeze momentarily froze my organs, expletive couldn't but stutter out of my mouth. Thank you for being unlucky enough to get a mission assigned on this icy cold night where I was supposed to be sleeping under my cozy blanket right now. Heck, a task it was!

The mask clung to my face tightly. I checked if the earpiece was properly placed in position. Inside, the woman spoke.

'Woozi will be on the line with you from now on. Best of luck.'

'Got it.' I marked my step forward towards the targeted location that stood some meters away from me. The neighborhood was all silent as if no creature dwelled in that whole place. The full moon was a polka dot on the black, peeking out once in a while from behind the evanescent cloud of greys and whites, a mysterious vibe of itself was created and of the surroundings. Not a single person was outside their home, everybody was perhaps dreaming sweet and bitter scenes under their sheets of comfort. It seemed like an all-peace and quiet street. Perfect for some 'specific' categories to live- I thought to myself.

I scanned the way around the two-storied house, looking for some alternative way to go in beside the locked front door. No sooner the cold air blew, and my ears had faintly caught a low creaking sound coming from the upper part of the dorm. I looked following the direction, a smile was ready to get crept on my face. A window was slightly open, the glass jerked due to the wind's harsh fist.

'Waving at me to come in, my window...' Giving the last quick check to feed my mind with relief, I skillfully climbed up towards the window, and jumped inside. With the faint light of the moon, I could barely see anything. So I brought out my night vision. It was a bedroom. Two beds sat side by side against the wall, accompanied by a lot of stuffed dolls by their either side. I never knew gangsters were into stuffed toys. Pretty adorable gangsters they would be!

'Y/N.' as Woozi muttered, without further delay, I got to work. I started searching the room I went into. The room was a little messy. A rusty heavy scent dominated the inside air, it smelled like men. I pushed all the objects and checked out everything to find out the blue shade tainted structures. Getting no result, I went into other rooms, searching through bookshelves, tables, beds, closets, absolutely everywhere but to no avail. There was everything, but not the thing I was looking for.

'Woozi, I can't find it. All that I see are useless household materials, food scraps and clothes. And mess.'

'You are checking properly, right?'

'I do think I am pretty much expert in this job.'

'Yeah--- -zzz---zzz----. You still---zzz---zzzzz----zzzz okay?'

'What? Hello, Woozi? I can't hear you properly.'

'Y/N, hel--zzz-- me?' The earpiece glitched again. 'I think -zzz--- in the---piece...' 'God!' I shook the earpiece and put it on again, this is unbelievable. 'Y/N, can you-zzz--hear me?'

'Not very well, but much better than before. I think there's something wrong with my earpiece.' 'Even—zz- I think so.' 'There's no time. I will go back to work.' I started rummaging again, unsure if I would succeed.
The next room was the living room. It was like all other rooms, undecorated and unpolished at the moment, a bit of mess resting on the word 'living'. Clothes were stuck by the edge of the sofa about to fall, video games were scattered everywhere. While checking out the sofa, my hands felt a rectangular structure beneath it. quickly I traveled them down, to bring out two file-like structures before my eyes. I took a clearer look.

'Task 28! Yes!' I wailed through the earpiece.

'Y/N—zzz--! Nice work! Now quickly get zz—back.' 'Alright.' I further examined the cardboard cover of the file, still unsure because yeah, wasn't it a too plain place to hide something that contains something too confidential about them, about their work? But right now, I was too busy to hold a concern for that.

I went up and just at the moment, some faint sounds of footsteps caught my ears. My body went firm. Huh? Who is it? They weren't supposed to come back now...

'Woozi, I think someone's coming. You didn't inform me of anything. Wh- Woozi? Woozi?'

All that traveled out from the small thing were some ear-impairing buzzing noise, with no sound of the male's voice.

FUCK! I jumped off the sofa keeping the files back to their places then ran towards the nearest room, which was, the kitchen. I hid behind the refrigerator, sticking myself to it completely, like being a part of it.

The low sound of unlocking the door sooner reached my ear and someone came in. A loud sigh was heard, with a voice in follow, 'Aish, Yoongi hyung! Always leaving stuff behind. And why it had to be me to lose in rock, paper, scissors?' The voice was deep and manly, revealing it's owner's pure annoyance. My ears went sharper.

The footsteps proceeded inside to stand before the kitchen. He stood before the refrigerator. Being hidden behind it, my heart was pounding so hard with the fear of getting caught. However, I knew to keep my brain cool. Whatever I need to do in an emergency moment, I will do it. Seeming like, he was the only person of all who came in, so it won't be hard for me to bring down one man.

The cap of a bottle popped. Dragging out a chair, he sat down. After he was done drinking or whatever, the bottle was kept back and he went out. The footsteps soon got extinct, those pitter patter audio panned to the left towards the inside, the bedrooms.

A few minutes passed by. I peeked out from the back of the refrigerator to take a proper view. It had been some moment but I could hear no sound, no footsteps in response. Where was he? I was getting impatient. I needed to act fast and that boy had to come by the right moment I got a hold of those files. What should I say?- Good timing!

Startling me, my eyes faintly caught a leg just beside the kitchen's entrance, a voice appeared. 'Found it!' I quickly tried to hide back behind the refrigerator, accidentally bumping into something and making a thin yet hearable sound. Shit! I bit my tongue.

The person stopped. Though I couldn't see, I could almost feel the wrinkle formed on his forehead. He stood for a while.

'I must have heard wrong. Or bugs...' The light was turned off and the footsteps headed towards the front door. The door got locked. I waited for a few more minutes then dragged myself out of the hiding place. I talked over the earpiece, to see if it was working. 'Hey, Woozi!'

'Hello??' Like before, all I could hear were some long beeps in rhythm, with no response. I guess my luck isn't willing to favor me at all today. I sighed and went back to the living room. I ran my hands behind the sofa looking for the files, dragging them out.

'I'm back, my darling!' I said.

'So am I.' The whispering voice revealed the man standing behind me. And the light went on simultaneously.

Wha---?? My fist flung back towards the person's face as a reflex. He succeeded to dodge it and tried to grip my hand, however, couldn't. He tried to punch me back as the second attempt. I avoided to get hurt but my night vision got misplaced and slipped off my eyes. I took it off and threw it at his face. He flinched a bit at the sudden action, later composed himself in a mere second.

'Stupid ass! Ya think ya can get out of the lion's cave? I am gonna teach you a lesson!'

We'll see who teaches whom. I shot another strong punch towards his jaw to get him out of my way. A fight broke out between him and me. The person was strong I will admit, but I wasn't weak either.

Getting hit by my roundhouse kick, he landed hard on the sofa. I trapped him snaking my arm around his neck. He squirmed in pain, suffocating for air. 'Teaching me a lesson, huh?' I smirked, in satisfaction.

'Taehyung-ah, what's taking you so long?' The front door banged open and to my surprise, two more people came in. And they were as much as shocked as I was.
'Hyung!' The guy beneath my arms took advantage of my slightest distraction and poked me on my stomach with his elbow. I made a yelp, my hands released him from the embrace.

Three against one now...I like it but don't like it...

'Who is this-' before the sentence could get its complete form, I thwacked the person on the ear. Things whatever that came near my hands flew towards their targeted figures. One of them got hit but the other two came back twirling my arm backward tightly, pulling my waist too.

The fight broke again, this time with more people.

I had to get out of here fast. But how? Are there more of them?

To provide an answer to my question, the front door was again getting opened and I heard more voices. 'Why none of you are coming out? Tae, Jin, Hobi-yah? What's going on?'

How many of them are there?!

Am I getting trapped?
