Max's POV:

A bright light immediately blinded me; I woke up to see myself in a pipelined room with a light shined at my face. My hands and feet were tied to a chair and I tried to wiggle free. It was no use; my arm was throbbing, probably from my fight with the Gorilla. I knew that I was going to have some bruises. The door opened and revealed two mysterious men in black clothes. I saw that they each had a gun in their pockets. Seriously, I should have brought my own gun today. Yes I know, but it was my father's. Tom gave it to me when I started to street fight and told me to only use it in emergencies. At least I had a pocketknife and pepper spray on me. Though what's the point? I can't even reach it.

"Who are you?" I spat out. One guy was about to charge at me, but the other guy held him back.

"We are not going to hurt you," the guy said.

"Wow, that funny because why am I held captive then?" I asked.

"You are Stone Fox," the guy said.

"No, I am Princess Candy of Candyland," I mumbled sarcastically, "Who are you?"

"We are members from the Viper Gang and our boss wants you to join," the guy said.

"Why would you think that I would want to join you?" I spat out at him.

"Or else we will keep you captive here," the guy said.

"Seriously. You could have just came up to me and asked to talk to me. Capturing is not necessary boys," I rambled and I knew I shouldn't have opened my big, stupid mouth.

"SHUT UP!" the guy yelled, "You leave us no choice. Try getting out of here because that isn't going to happen sweetie." One of the men went over to me and I instantly felt a burning sensation on my cheek. It felt as if I ran a curling iron down my cheek. And of course, I knew that it was going to leave a mark, preferably a hand mark. They both immediately left the room. What an idiot. Never leave a fighter alone in a room because they should know that I could break out easily. I tried wiggling even more, but nothing budged. I finally noticed something; they didn't tie my actual body to the chair. They only did my arms and ankles. I inspected the chair and saw that it was one of those weak plastic chairs.

"This is going to hurt," I said aloud. I stood up as far as I could and slammed my butt down onto the chair, hard. The chair snapped and I landed on my butt and had pieces of the plastic beneath me. I was able to grab my pocketknife and cut myself free. I slipped my knife back into my shoes and crept to the door. As I slowly opened the door, I saw a guard surveying the area. I crept up to him and knocked him out.

"Amateur," I scoffed. The two guys that talked to me ran up to me, but I used their force to flip them onto the ground.

"Help me out here," the guy on the ground growled to the other guy. I grabbed the other guy's hand and flipped him over. One of them jumped up and punched me in the face. I stumbled back a little, but quickly recovering, kneeing him in the sensitive spot. He fell to the ground and cursed. I turned to the other guy and kicked him in the stomach. I did the same to the other guy, but he caught my foot and flipped me over. Me being amazing, I landed on my feet and punched one of the in the nose. His nose started to bleed and while he was examining his finger I knocked him out. I turned to the other guy and he surprised me with a very hard kick. As I fell to the ground, I saw him smirk at me.

"You won't get away Stone Fox," the guy growled.

"Nobody that is human growls, FYI," I said, "-and I wouldn't look down on me." I used both my hands and feet to throw him off me and I knocked him out with one hit. I ran to a door and kicked it open seeing myself in an alley. I ran out and to the street trying to see a street name. Of course, gangs have to meet in a freaking warehouse! Why though? Wouldn't they rather have a million dollar mansion? I grabbed my phone from my pocket and of course, my phone died. Before it died I saw that the time was 10:00 p.m. It probably drained the battery trying to look for signal. I mean, the room I was in probably cut off all phone signals because of all the pipes. I sighed and walked around and saw the Iron Fist. I guess the warehouse isn't that far from the Iron Fist. All the stores were closed so I couldn't go in and try to call someone. So, I ran home. It takes like 10 minutes to get here from car, but I knew some shortcuts that could get me home faster. I know, these shortcuts are through alleys, but I was prepared and I kept watch on my surroundings. Besides running down the streets isn't safe either. I was really worried about Alex. I really hoped that she was okay and got home safely. She is probably worried sick though. While I was running down alleys, I saw a lot of dumpsters that had a horrid stench to it. My nose cringed every time I passed one. I finally made it to my neighborhood and decided to walk the rest of the way. I couldn't keep on running anyways.

Unknown POV:

"She escaped boss," the man said, "She took out her capturers and the guard that was by her door."

"How did she get out?" I asked. The man sighed.

"The chair was found broken. She broke the chair boss," the man said.

"Those idiots! I told them to tie her extra securely! Find those two and bring them to me!" I yelled and the man scurried away. It was time for a new plan. Watch out Stone Fox, I am coming for you.

Ace's POV:

When I walked into Jayden's room, I saw him playing with Macy. Man, I can't believe that I missed Max dropping off Macy. Well I guess that I could see her when she picks up Macy. Martin and I have been working on some new gadgets for our motorcycles. We were also working on some stuff that could improve my racing. I was working on the design when I saw Max's white Lamborghini pull up on the driveway. My heart was beating fast and I didn't know why. All I know was that when Max's friend walked out, my hopes fell. I looked in the window of the car and saw a man instead of Max. As I continued dusting off some tools, I wondered why Max wasn't here to pick up Macy. Once Max's friend came back out with Macy. I went inside to ask Jayden and my mom some questions.

"Hey mom, who was the person that picked up Macy?" I asked.

"Just Max's friend, why?" she asked surprised at my sudden interest.

"Just because...I thought Max is supposed to pick up Macy," I said.

"Well all I know is that Max is doing some emergency errand and her friend has to pick up Macy instead," Mom said, "Are you done interrogating me because I want to finish the laundry Ace." She carried the basket and walked to the laundry room.

"Ace, I think you have a crush on Max," Jayden said and I cocked my head at him.

"What?" I asked and I heard Martin snicker behind me.

"Because you kept on asking questions about her when you first met Macy and now you are asking why she isn't picking up Macy," Jayden said simply.

"I don't have a crush on Max, Jayden, I just met her," I protested and Jayden shook his head.

"Fine, just telling you what I thought okay? You don't have to get all defensive Ace," Jayden said and walked away.

"God, your brother has a big vocabulary," Martin said exhaustingly.

"You just noticed that now?" I snapped.

"But seriously dude, do you like Max?" Martin asked.

"Well she's stunning, but I don't know if I will like her personality. I need to get to know her first before I can say anything," I explained and Martin nodded.

"Yeah, you are definitely changing..." Martin said trailing off.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I asked.

"Well back then you didn't care about a girl's personality, you just cared about looks. Max is special because you actually care about her personality," Martin said.

"No," I said but on the inside I knew Martin and Jayden were right.
