Max's POV:

I was happy that Ace could trust me enough to tell me his secret, but then it made me feel guilty that I couldn't tell him mine. He was so hung up on trying to unmask Stone Fox and I was worried that he would be disappointed when he found out Stone Fox is me. Since when did I care about his feelings? Oh yeah, I found out that I started liking him when I came home from dinner. The way he looked into my eyes made me smile and I knew he could break me out of my shield. The shield I built when my dad died.

"Hey Tom," I said walking into the gym, "Hi Tanner."

"Hey Max," Tanner greeted me.

"Hi Max," Tom said walking to the counter and placed a flyer right in front of me.

"What's this?" I asked.

"A flyer for the Central Park Music Festival," Tom explained, "I got an invite for you and some of your friends." The Central Park Music Festival is a one-day carnival where there are games and live music.

"Really? I always wanted to go to the Central Park Music Festival," I exclaimed holding the flyer, "How did you get it?"

"Well apparently I am finally recognized for owning Flex Fitness Gyms," Tom bragged, but then his mouth turned into a pout, "And I am too old to have fun so take Macy and some of your friends okay?"

"Okay thanks Tom!" I said excitedly, "I definitely know who to invite." I went to my usual gym room and did my cardio routine and my boxing routine. The thing that surprised me was that the Viper Gang has been quiet for a while. Honestly, I knew that they were planning something. This is way too quiet for them. All I know was that I would have to be careful at the festival tomorrow. I hope that I am not bringing anyone into trouble when I go with them tomorrow. I mean, the Viper Gang has eyes everywhere.

As I jogged up the front steps, I turned back and locked my car. Then I pressed my finger onto the doorbell.

"Hi Jean!" I said.

"Max! Glad to see you! How have you been?" Jean asked then laughed, "-Wait I just saw you yesterday." Right when she finished her sentence, my mouth broke out into a smile.

"I was actually here to invite you guys to the Central Park Music Festival tomorrow. My uncle got tickets and I was wondering if you, Ace, or Jayden wanted to come with Macy and I," I asked.

"Oh that is so sweet of you!" Jean gushed, "Well, I think that Jayden would love to come and I will send Ace to help you watch the kids. I have a meeting tomorrow so I won't be able to make it."

"That sucks," I said sympathetically.

"Have fun without me Max. I mean what can you do with an old woman?" Jean asked while raising up her hands and I laughed.

"You are definitely not old Jean," I added.

"Anyways, I will tell Ace and Jayden about the festival. When do you want Ace to pick you up?" Jean asked.

"That's alright, I was going to pick Ace and Jayden up Jean," I said.

"Okay, when should they be ready?" Jean asked.

"I should be here around 9:00 a.m. if that's okay," I said.

"That is perfect honey," Jean said.

"Well I will see you tomorrow," I said while waving.

"Bye Max," Jean said and I went back to my car and drove home. I got inside the house and was immediately hugged by Macy.

"Hi sweetie," I said.

"Hi Max!" Macy said.

"I have a surprise for you," I said.

"What is it?" she asked.

"Well I got tickets to the Central Park Music Festival and me, you, Ace, and Jayden are going!" I said.

"Yay!" she exclaimed, "How about Alex?"

"I am going to call her right now," I said.

"Okay," Macy said. I walked up to my room and while I sat down, I dialed Alex's number.

"Hey Max, what's up?" Alex asked.

"Nothing much. Do you want to come to the music festival with me tomorrow?" I asked.

"Who's going?" Alex asked.

"Me, Macy, Ace, and Jayden," I said.

"I don't exactly want to be the third wheel here Max," Alex joked.

"You won't be, if it makes you feel better, I could invite Martin," I suggested, "I have 6 tickets."

"I don't know," Alex said doubtfully.

"Come on! I heard that Skylar Summers is performing this year!" I exclaimed trying to convince her.

"It's sad that she is younger than us yet we are such big fans," Alex said.

"Who said you can't be a fan of someone younger than you?" I asked and Alex laughed.

"Is Raini Reynolds performing?" Alex asked.

"I think so, she is probably singing with Skylar," I said trying to pull out the picture of the flyer in my head.

"Okay, but only if Martin goes because we could be the third wheel together," Alex teased and I laughed. Skylar Summers is a 19-year-old phenomenon. She is an actress, singer, and dancer and is known for her work in the Morgan Family. She got the role when she was around 13 years old.

"Okay, I will tell Ace to invite Martin," I said, "See you tomorrow."

"Bye Max," Alex said.

Today was the day of the festival. I decided on wearing something comfortable since this a full day festival. I put on my favorite dark wash high waist shorts with an off-the-shoulder white crop top and my favorite high top Converse. Then I put my hair into a fishtail braid and put on some bracelets. I put my phone into my back pocket and grabbed my black semi-rimless sunglasses.

"Done," I said to myself and walked into Macy's room. She had on shorts and a cute t-shirt that said Dream Big on it.

"Aw, you look so cute," I gushed.

"I don't know what shoes to wear Max," she complained and I laughed at how dramatic she was.

"How about these ones?" I asked pointing to a pair of tennis shoes that had hearts on them.

"Yeah!" Macy exclaimed and put them on.

"Ready to go?" I asked and added, "We still have to pick up Ace and Jayden."

"Is Alex almost done?" she asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, she is waiting for us right now," I said and Macy nodded. We walked to my car and Alex was already standing by it. Alex was wearing a floral romper with pink Keds and her aviator sunglasses.

"I brought the jean jackets that I ordered in case it gets cold at night," Alex said. Apparently, Alex went shopping and got Macy, herself, and me a light wash denim jacket.

"Thanks Alex, you are amazing," I said and got into my car. Alex got in next to me and Macy sat in the back. I pulled out of the driveway and drove to Ace's house. I went to the porch and pressed on the doorbell.
