I typically hate filling out required paperwork. I was pleased to discover that the paperwork I needed for a passport wasn't overly difficult. The DS-11 form was in fact very straightforward and easy to follow. I also lucked out that the Post Office closest to me had the capability of taking my photo for it, supposedly not all of them did. Not having to hunt down an additional location to get my passport picture taken made the application that much more simple. The most difficult part of the whole situation I would chalk up to being the waiting game. It could take anywhere from six weeks to eight weeks for the forms to go through and to actually have my passport in hand. On the good side that still put the documents in my possession just a couple weeks before their concerts were scheduled.

In that regard, I still had no clue whether I would even be able to get into the concert one of the two nights. I was still waiting to hear back from whatever schmoozing it was that Candace had to do. She hadn't even rightfully filled me in on the subject. She only stated that she might have an in and left it at that. I really wasn't sure what to make of that at all.

In the meantime I was putting myself through a crash course on everything BTS. The first thing I had been doing was watching their music videos with English subtitles to try to get a grasp of what their music might be about. I was pleasantly surprised to find their lyrics were like poetry set to music. 'DNA' was my current favorite for quite obvious reasons because of the lyrics, but I honestly loved nearly all of their music. Even the songs I wasn't as big of a fan of I still had a deep appreciation for.

I groaned at myself on numerous occasions where I had started singing along and found myself trying to mimic the phonetic sounds of the Korean lyrics. I didn't want to depend upon an interpreter to get us through a normal conversation when we were finally face to face, but I feared we might have to. I almost wish that the serum was also able to implement some miracle medicine that made it so soulmates automatically were able to understand each other if they didn't speak the same language, but that idea was completely in the realm of Science Fiction.

The concern about our language barrier prompted me to search 'BTS speaking English' on Youtube. I was happy to know that at the very least Namjoon was pretty proficient at English. The others ranked to pretty knowledgeable to most having the ability to memorize what they wanted to say. I was thankful for one Army member who had put together a video on their Youtube channel ranking their English speaking ability starting with who was the best to who still struggled a lot. After watching several other videos I wondered if that one was out of date however. Jungkook had definitely improved since that video was created, but I wasn't certain if he surpassed Jin and Yoongi or not. Maybe it was more likely that the three were on an equal level playing field.

Gosh, my men are handsome. I have honestly thought this over and over again since I discovered who my soulmates were. I really don't know how I could be this lucky. I keep having moments of concern though. What if I can't get in to see them in Chicago after all?

My phone abruptly goes off. I pause the current video I am watching and make a mad dive for it where it lies on the opposite corner of the coffee table. I'm hoping it's Candace texting me with some news regarding her mysterious excursion.

Candace - Be at this location at 9am tomorrow. I have already arranged for you to get out of work early.

I search for the attached location via google and discover that it appears to be a French restaurant called Madeleine's, which I found odd for such an early morning meeting. I am about to question her via text but before I can reply she sends another one.

Candace - Oh, and bring something nice to wear for the meeting with you tomorrow when you head to work your shift at the cafe.

Me - Candace, what is this about?

Candace - You'll see ;)

I immediately pull open my closet door and scan the meager amount of clothing I have hanging there. I only have a few dresses and none of them have long enough sleeves to cover Jimin's mark on my arm. Nor are any of them long enough to cover up Hoseok's mark on my leg. I guess nice means that I am going to be wearing dress pants and a sweater. I decide on my favorite seafoam green sweater that brings out the flecks of green in my greenish-blue eyes.

When I get to the cafe the following day I discover that in order for me to be able to get out of work early Candace had rearranged her schedule so that she would be coming in at eight, when I was due to get off work myself so I would have time to change my clothes and make this meeting. It had originally been my plan to interrogate her to find out more regarding this meeting. I was rather annoyed that I wouldn't be able to probe her with a litany of questions. That annoyance made the morning go by super slowly despite the amount of customers coming in and out. When I saw her blonde ponytail above the heads of some of the shorter patrons that were waiting in line I was more than ready to get out of there.

Once she clocked in I nodded at her in greeting, clocked myself out, and headed to the back to quickly change and touch up my hair and makeup. I really didn't know what I was supposed to expect, and that was making me super nervous. I decided not to dwell on those butterflies for too long before I grabbed my coat and made my way to the door. Candace stopped me by handing me my favorite cappuccino and smiling reassuringly.

I arrive at Madeleine's with seven minutes to spare. I inch up to the outer door and frown at the sign that indicated their hours of operation. They weren't even open for lunch, let alone breakfast. What the hell was I doing here then? I nearly screamed when I happen to catch sight of two shadows reflected in the glass of the door approaching me from behind.

"You must be Daisy Keegan. I realize this meeting has probably caught you completely off guard, and that you are more than likely even more confused to show up here at my restaurant when we aren't even open to the public until 4:30 pm." I glance up at him. His face doesn't look familiar but for some reason his voice seems to be. I can't figure out why that may be the case when he just indicated he owned the restaurant. Why would I know the voice of someone that ran a restaurant? "Let's get inside then." He pulled out a hefty keyring and unlocked the door.

He held the door for me so I mentally shrugged my shoulders and walked in. The other gentleman had yet to say a word, and his silence kind of creeped me out a bit. They were both sharply dressed in expensive looking business suits. Could I become even more confused?

The first gentleman indicated a table near the kitchen. "Elias, the head chef, is preparing breakfast for us. I gave him carte blanche... That is to say free rein over the menu selections. Candace did indicate some of your favorites however, and I am sure that will more than likely be reflected it what he brings out. I see you already have a coffee. Would you like a water or some juice also?"

"Orange juice would be great thanks." I find myself responding.

Not long after a dish of crepes is placed before me. It is easily the most stunning plate I have ever seen. "Fruit salsa crepes, Elias must have really wanted to treat you. That's impressive. He wasn't too happy to come in and do this for me this morning." Identical plates are also put in front of the two gentlemen. Seated across from me. "So, I guess I should start by introducing myself. I'm Brighton Davis. This is my lawyer Asher Clive. Candace and I go way back, and she called me up to ask me for a favor for you."

I swallow a bite and nearly choke on it after he introduces himself. Brighton Davis has been penned as Chicago's Renaissance Man. The reason he is referred to as such is because he has his hands in several different companies. Because of this he has enough money to be able to be set for life; instead he chooses to also co-host a popular soon to be syndicated radio show. Apparently another one of his many financial ventures is owning this French restaurant. I suddenly find myself feeling somewhat sick to my stomach so I push my plate away from me. "What exactly are you wanting from me?" I find myself asking, although I think I already have worked out an idea for myself.

"I want to be the one to present your story to the world. My first syndicated program is scheduled for the morning after BTS' second concert. I already have them scheduled to appear. I just want for you to agree to appear alongside them and give me the scoop."

I gulp at his words. "What did Candace tell you exactly?"

Brighton shrugs his shoulder. "Everything, but don't worry I won't breathe a word of it to anyone. It wouldn't be beneficial for that news to be leaked before I get the chance to interview you. That's counterproductive."

I still don't understand how this is supposed to be helping me exactly. "Am I supposed to be get something in return?"

He nods emphatically. "Absolutely. I mean after all there wouldn't be a story without the seven of you being able to meet. I am giving you and Candace front row seats to the show. You will also be getting the meet and greet pass you need for after the show. I couldn't manage backstage passes, but that might be for the best. Seeing them before the show would potentially throw them off after all."

"Which date are the tickets for?" I haven't agreed to it yet, but I am curious. I want to see them as soon as possible so I am really hoping for the first night. He did, however, indicate that the interview he already had scheduled wouldn't be until the morning after the second concert.

"I managed to wrangle tickets for the first night. That should give you some time to get to know them, but also potentially talk them into the interview."

I run my tongue along my lower lip since they suddenly feel dry. "What if Big Hit decides that our story isn't something they think should be broadcast at the time? It wouldn't be fair of me to pressure the company or BTS into doing something they aren't ready for. Not to mention doing this at all could cause immediate friction between our relationship. I really don't want to start our future on the wrong foot."

"Solid points." He stops to think about what I said for a second. "I tell you what. Why don't you take a sheet of paper and write out a statement of agreement that you think is fair. We will both sign and date it, Asher will notarize it, and we will get a copy made for your own records."

I didn't like it, but I had to get in that concert somehow. "Do you have the tickets with you?"

"Oh, would you like to see them first?"

"May I? Please?" I may be desperate, but I won't be played for a fool. He lays the tickets out in front of me along with the meet and greet badge. I verify the date before I nod in satisfaction. Asher hands me a legal pad, and I take a moment to think of what I want to write.

This is an agreement between Brighton Davis and Daisy Keegan. Once Daisy meets BTS she agrees to bring up the topic with them on how she was able to go to the concert. How they were able to meet. She agrees that she will also mention what was requested of her by Brighton Davis.

Brighton Davis will supply Daisy Keegan with both a pair of tickets and a meet and greet pass in exchange for this request. The request asked of her is simply to ask if during their already scheduled interview on March 7th if they can do a nationwide exclusive including her in the interview as well. If Big Hit and/or BTS deem this disagreeable at this time then Daisy will be considered to have already done her part and no legal actions will be made.

I hand the note to Brighton. "Does this seem acceptable to you?" I give him a second to confer with Asher. The two of them nodding and whispering softly. It's odd that Asher hasn't spoken to me directly, but I don't let his aloofness bother me. He was mostly here in a supervisory position after all.

"This seems fair. Although we probably should also add something to notate that I won't ask any questions regarding things about you I shouldn't be privy to know if they don't agree to you being included in the interview."

That honestly surprises me. I didn't think of it, and I'm shocked that Brighton wouldn't use that as a loophole. I must not keep the surprise from showing on my face because he says,"please remember, Miss Keegan, that I am a good friend of Candace's. I wouldn't jeopardize her friendship, nor would I jeopardize anyone's soulmate bond. If for some reason after you tell the boys this and they would like to talk to me directly then give them this card." I take it from him and put it into my wallet. Once I get home I plan to program the number in my phone also, just in case I lose the card.

It looks like now the only thing standing in our way is time. I waited five years. I can wait a couple more months. Plus the time gives me the opportunity to study and learn more about BTS.
