"I know it was all through text, and we can't get a good read of her emotions that way, but did she seem cold and distant to anyone else?" Jungkook asks.

"It wasn't just you." Yoongi mutters. His expression seems more dour than they have ever seen it.

"Do you think we made her mad?" Jimin asks.

"How could we have made her mad?! I thought what we did was romantic!" Hobi seems to be handling this all worse than everyone else.

"It was. She is probably just preoccupied. We can't keep jumping to conclusions that something's wrong." Namjoon attempts to alleviate the tension.

"She's with Korain. You know the reputation he has had in the past." Jungkook points out. Yeah, this was an issue that was bothering them too, but no one had pointed it out until now.

"Yes, in the past." He pauses for a moment. "He has been reprimanded and hasn't acted that way in well over a year and a half." Namjoon responds again.

Tae, who has been quiet up until this point, speaks up. "She said she would talk to us when she got back. I think we should just trust her."

"That's an excellent point." Namjoon says.

"I'm sorry I'm overreacting. But, it's been hours, and I'm worried." Hobi sighs.

Jimin runs his hand through his hair. "I think we all are."

Tae glances at his phone. He debates about texting her again. But he wonders if he should send a private message this time.

Tae: I know you are just running an errand. But we are worried because you have been gone so long. Can you please just respond so we know you are okay?

Daisy: I'm okay. I made it back. I'm just tired.

"I just sent her a private text. She's back. But she claims she is tired." Tae frowns.

They all sit in silence for a few minutes. Each mulling over what might have brought this on. Everything had been fine the last time they saw her. Everyone had been happy celebrating Yoongi's birthday together. So, why was she closing herself off from them so suddenly?

"I'm calling, Korain. I'm finding out what the fuck is going on!" Hobi announces. They don't expect him to leave the room to make the phone call but that's exactly what he does.

"I don't think I have ever seen him so on edge." Jin mutters.

"Nor have I." Jimin states. Since he has been his roommate for so long that somewhat surprises the others.

The notification of the BTS group chat goes off.

Hobi: Guys, I know what's going on. It's nothing really bad per se. But, let me handle it for now.

"I'm not sure what that means, but I guess we should let it go for now." Namjoon mutters. Suddenly none of them are feeling much up for company so they all part ways heading to their own bedrooms.

Kim Seokjin had settled on the idea that since he hadn't been marked for about nine years that he wouldn't be marked at all. He put on a brave face. Telling silly dad jokes to hide away from the pain. But he was simply veiling the truth that, at least romantically, he was lonely.

Now, he has a soulmate, but he has to share her with his friends. No his extended family. He hasn't yet completely worked out how he feels about sharing her. Hell, there is still a part of him that is coming to terms that she is in his life at all.

Holding her hand on the plane was an understated innocent touch, but he felt it hard to cope with the tender emotions that action stirred up inside him.

What was that lyric? 'Not broken just bent.' Yes, that's how he felt. He could be repaired, it would probably just take time.

And now? Now that she was distancing herself from them? Now it was crushing his heart and making him worry that time had run out. The text that Hoseokie sent did nothing to alleviate that worry either. He only helped that there was sand left in the hourglass for the two of them.

Kim Taehyung had been so exceptionally happy that he would be linked to the other members via their soulmate that he felt like his life was a dream. But part of it felt like it was crashing around his ears.

The moment Yoongi had mentioned the possibility that she may be western, ie British or American, his confidence fled. He didn't speak English as well as the others. He struggled the most with the language, and he worried that he wouldn't be able to communicate with her properly.

When Daisy entered their lives he found himself attracted to her like a moth to a flame. He was nervous to be around her, but at the same time if he was away from her for too long he felt like a rubber band stretched far enough that it would almost break. Just so he wouldn't feel that way he made sure the time he spent with her was precious.

But now it felt like she was pulling away. What could he do to prevent this from happening? He wasn't sure and that level of uncertainty was making him feel even more insecure with the way things were transpiring between the two of them.

He had downloaded the Naver papago app that Jungkook had been using when he was initially learning English. It was still a slow incline. He didn't have the amount of time he wanted to dedicate to both her and tutoring himself with the language. Was that the reason she was pulling away? Because he chose to learn how to better communicate with her instead of spending time with her in general?

Hobi's short text to ensure that everything was okay wasn't all that reassuring. It still left him uneasy and unsure. Which didn't make him any less worried. Perhaps it was time to mend what he might have unintentionally broken.

To say that Kim Namjoon was a busy individual was definitely an understatement. Without his perseverance and dedication however BTS probably wouldn't exist, at least not at the level it does today. Granted it had been at the behest of Big Hit that they changed directions from an underground rap group to an idol group with a hip-hop concept. But through his positivity and encouragement he had kept the group together through several trials and tribulations.

Now however his occupational focus was overpowering his personal one, and he wasn't sure how to tip the scales in a favorable enough direction to be able to focus on both. He wasn't blaming Daisy in any way. He simply was growing confused by the fact that she seemed to be pulling away, and he wanted to fix it. He just wasn't clear about how to achieve that.

With the members he would put them in a room and force them to talk it out. To communicate what was going on, and while he definitely was leaning toward something similar he was terribly worried that he would scare her away. Especially if she was already pulling away to begin with.

While he had a few romantic entanglements in the past there hadn't been any misconception about what those entanglements meant to the women involved. Those few entanglements weren't anything more than the coming together of two lonely people trying to combat against that inner sense of solitude they both were feeling.

Perhaps that was why he was at a loss as to how to cope with what was going on right now. He hadn't been in a true romantic relationship before, and he wasn't completely sure how to transverse it. But he would learn from his own experience. Communication was best. So, he would talk it out and figure out what was going on. But first he would give her the space she asked for.

Min Yoongi had been so happy less than twenty-four hours ago. He was the most aloof member of BTS, yet somehow he felt like yesterday he had won the lottery. It was truthfully the happiest birthday he ever had. Now he was stroking the ivory and ebony of the small keyboard he never left behind wondering what went wrong.

It hadn't been hard to convince the others to do their own rendition of 'Rainbow Connection.' The idea of it had made them all exceptionally happy and ecstatic to do something so romantic for Daisy. Co-writing the rap with Namjoon had come naturally. But he was sure that had something to do with their feelings concerning who they were writing it for.

Did that song have some extra history that they hadn't been aware of? Did they unintentionally stampede all over a memory like the blue wildebeest in 'The Lion King?' Just the possibility of that left him feeling like crap.

He was upset that only Hobi knew what was going on, but only mildly so. If Hobi could get her to come back around, in the long run he could be okay with it.

Park Jimin was sitting staring out the window of his hotel room. The view below showed people scurrying about in their day to day lives. He wasn't seeing it though. He was stuck in stressful thoughts while tears streamed from his eyes.

He didn't want Daisy to be hurting. He also didn't want her to pull away from them. Hobi was the one going to her now, but he wanted to be the person in that position. He wouldn't mind if she had to cry on his shoulder as long as she was okay if he did a little crying of his own.

But, what had they done wrong? They could fix-- No, they would fix it. Whatever it was. They would all make it better. He wouldn't let whatever happened break them. He couldn't let it break them. If it broke them. If they all fell apart... He wasn't sure how he could even survive it.

Jeon Jungkook was currently pummeling a punching bag, but this time he wasn't doing it for the exercise. This time he was imagining it was Korain's face.

He wasn't even sure how the guy still had a job after what he had done. But, Big Hit had decided to give him one more chance before there would be any extreme measures taken. He had of course been dealt with disciplinary actions. He had been suspended for a month, and when he came back his pay had been decreased. In Jungkook's opinion though, the ass shouldn't have been given a second chance.

He can still see the faces of those who had suffered that night. He was only glad that it didn't haunt him. That it didn't follow him with nightmares that kept him up at night.

Granted he was overdramatizing the situation. But it was still a disturbing one to say the least. And yes there were a few people that had been hurt as a result. But that hurt wasn't physical. It was emotional.

Now he was wondering if Daisy was hurting a similar way. He didn't believe that whatever was going on directly involved Korain. But because of his past he wouldn't put it past him to have caused indirect pain to his soulmate.

Why did Sejin assign him to her? Other than the fact that he spoke English proficiently Jungkook didn't see the logic.

The sweat saturating his hair paired with his heavy breathing and racing heart told him it was time to stop for now. Han-bin wasn't the only security team member that Jungkook trusted. But, he was the one who understood him best. He was the one that could look at him and realize that it was time to take a step back, or to guide him into doing something beneficial to help cope with his emotions. It had been Han-bin that had suggested boxing when his anger toward Korain veered its ugly head. It was Han-bin who was silently by his side showing his own support simply by physically being there.

As Jungkook was walking back to his room he caught sight of Hobi standing outside Daisy's door. A pint of ice cream in his hand. He only hopes that Hobi-hyung can find out what is going on.

It had taken Jung Hoseok a few moments to calm down enough for his hands to stop shaking. He had tried to dial a few times already but his long digits weren't cooperating because his blood pressure was through the roof.

Korain answered after only a couple of rings. "Korain, what the hell happened with Daisy today? She is holed up in her room and not talking to any of us."

It takes a moment for Korain to vocalize what's going on. He explains how long the trip took, both there and back. He explains where they went. Then he hesitates.

Hoseok has never heard a member of the security team nervous before but he'd be damned if that wasn't exactly the emotion that he was getting from the 'cool as a cucumber' security member right now.

In only a few words Hoseok is able to put two and two together. "Of all the silly-- Do me a favor, Korain. Get me some strawberry ice cream and a spoon. I think my soulmate needs some comfort food."
