A/N:  So, as you can read above, this chapter is a bit different than any of the others.  Before each of the members POV I will include an image of each of them.  Before Daisy's you will get the flower daisy chain page breaker.

2377 words

Daisy: Hey, can someone come relieve me at the hospital for a bit. I had something come up that I have to go take care of.

Namjoon frowns at the text. He can't help but wonder about what suddenly came up.

"Joonie, look at me!" Joshua shouts excitedly from inside the pool, breaking Namjoon out of his pensive considerations. Namjoon smiles affectionately at the sweet boy. It wasn't even challenging to fall in love with the toddler. He grew on them almost immediately, and they all openly claim that he stole a piece of each of their hearts.

It's too bad even Namjoon hasn't been himself since the accident though. For a couple weeks there he even blamed himself for the fact it had occurred at all. Not just because of the discovered evidence that made it sound like he was the one targeted, but also because of some of the things he had said at the press conference. He somewhat convinced himself that not going along with Hye Rin's delusions had made her act out.

Luckily the others were able to pull him out of it. They helped him see that there was no way to talk sense with someone as deranged as Hye Rin seemed to be. But, he was pretty sure that Daisy blamed herself a bit also. She didn't talk about it, and the fact that they barely saw her anymore made it hard to determine it as a certainty. But, at the very least it was obvious that her stress level was through the roof. Perhaps, she made an appointment with someone to talk it out. Maybe that's what had come up. Maybe that's where she needed to be.

Namjoon looked down at his phone again. Since this was his hour that he shared with Candace and Joshua he had turned the tones for alerts off.

Hoseok: Sure, I can be there soon. How much time did you need?

Taehyung: I'll come too.

It didn't really surprise him that both Hobi and Tae had volunteered to take over for Daisy. Next to Daisy they were the members that probably spent the most time at the hospital. The rest of us all would slot one specific day we would spend about an hour at his bedside. Tae and Hobi were there at least three or four days a week.

Daisy: I have to be there in an hour, so if you can't make it in half an hour I will have Jiwoo wait until you get here.

Well it definitely sounds like she made some kind of appointment since there is a designated time she has to be there. He questions if his assumption about it being a counseling session is correct or not though.

There was no way that Jin and Yoongi could relieve Daisy. The two of them were working on a late lunch for Joshua. The two of them learned a lot of western cuisine recipes, but the boy was adapting well to Korean cuisine also. Granted, they were keeping it simple regarding what food to feed him. They made sure nothing they gave him was spicy, and any time they weren't sure if a toddler should have a certain food then they would make sure by double checking the internet about it before even preparing it.

Today they are preparing pajeon for him. They learned early on some of the vegetables he favored, and, while a lot of them were more often used in western cuisine dishes, the duo still were able to find a way to adapt the pancake so it still stayed as true to the original recipe as possible.

They are also making gimbap, a dish they aren't able to have too often since Daisy isn't really a fan of seaweed. The only way their soulmate will eat seaweed at all is if it is cut exceptionally fine and cooked in something like soup, otherwise she avoids it like the plague.

Jin frowns over at Yoongi because while they are preparing Joshua's lunch something immediately occurs to him. "Is it me or has Daisy's appetite been gradually disappearing more and more?"

Yoongi nods thoughtfully. "Yeah, I am not sure what to make of it. I think I even noticed a veiled look of disgust on her face the other night as we sat down to eat." He stops and tries to remember what they had prepared that night. "For the life of me I can't remember what dish it was we prepared though that night."

"Huh, I wonder what is up with that."

Jk didn't have the heart to answer the text that Daisy had sent. It seemed exceptionally selfish of him, but he couldn't help but miss his soulmate. Sure he saw her for a few hours here and there both in the morning and evening, but she left no time to spend with any of them one on one since the crash.

His way of trying to avoid how depressed he was by playing video games in his room. Sure while Daisy was here he made sure to be with all of them and emotionally present. He also made sure that he got to put aside some one on one time with Joshua each day.

He loved the boy dearly, and he had been enjoying teaching him how to do different things. It was somewhat of a relief to Jk that he was no longer the youngest in the house. Most of his time with Joshua was spent either teaching him how to play some sport or another or helping coach him how to swim.

He even bought the boy a dinosaur shaped bowling ramp and had the boy pick out his very own bowling ball. The pattern was mostly blue and green with a small bit of silver woven in. If those were his favorite colors then Daisy did a somewhat decent job of selecting the colors for his room.

Jk remembers the first time he saw the tyke's room. He legitimately laid down in the twin sized tent bed himself pretty much right away. Pulling Daisy in with him and making his soulmate smile. In fact, that was one of the last times he remembered his soulmate that happy. He hopes that in the near future Jimin-hyung will wake up, and that afterward maybe everything will be right again.

Tae and Hobi look at each other as Daisy dashes out the door. She managed to give them each a peck before taking off, but that wasn't her typical way of saying goodbye to them. Even as she headed to the hospital she always made sure to hold each of them in her arms for a few moments before she would move on to the next one of them.

The two of them both look over at Jimin and sigh in unison. "How much longer do you think this can go on?" Tae asks, his eyes already growing wet as he looks at his best friend.

"The doctor is assured he will wake up any day now. But, I get what you mean. We've basically been told the same thing over and over again since the medical staff realized he wouldn't wake up after the surgery." Hobi finds himself frowning.

"What if he doesn't wake up?" Tae voices the words that none of them have had the courage to bring up until now.

"We have to believe the doctors are telling us the truth. That there is no indication that he won't wake up. He's not on life support after all. His body is still doing its job. It's just like he is stuck in a dream and he can't wake up." Hobi offers up in hopes that it will take away Tae's immediate melancholy, but that doesn't help keep his own at bay.

The elder of the two looks around the room as he remembers that Daisy had indicated his sister was here, but Tae and himself are the only two visitors in the room. He pulls out his phone and texts her.

Hoseok: Daisy mentioned you would be waiting for us. Where are you?

Jiwoo: I'm in the cafeteria. I'll be up in a few.

Hoseok: Are you going to shed some light on where Daisy ran off in such a hurry?

Jiwoo: Nope.

Hoseok grumbles annoyingly at his sister's antics. It is obvious that she definitely knows where his soulmate took off to. Withholding the information is either done for Daisy's sake, which he doubts, or his older sister is doing it to annoy him, which is probably more likely the case.

He frowns again as he looks back over at how still Jimin is in the hospital bed.

All he knows is the darkness that surrounds him. He can't help but feel lucky though that he has been able to feel the presence of his friends and family over and over again, but when he called out to them he wouldn't get an answer. It was like the darkness kept him locked tight.

Continuously, over and over again, he would desperately run around in the endless pitch black nothingness, hoping to find some light or a way to escape, but no matter which direction he would choose he was unable to find any sort of light past the darkness.

Once again he sits down and begins to give into despair as he realizes that nothing he does seems to be working. He no longer wants to be stuck here. He wants to be somewhere beyond this. Somewhere with the people he cares about. No, he wants to be somewhere with the people he loves and who love him equally in return. He wishes to be reunited with his family once again.

Then in the very next moment something strange takes place. Where there was zero light before there was suddenly a shaft breaking through the darkness above him. At first he thinks that the voice piercing through his world of darkness must belong to an angel. It's when the unexpected seven words whisper from her voice that he knows exactly who is waiting for him beyond the light. This time when he fights the darkness he is bound and determined to win. So, he follows that shaft of light out of the darkness and lets it carry him home.

Backtracking a bit.

I don't linger around long after I get the news. I legitimately jump into the SUV waiting for me and ask Sang Hee to hurry and take me back to the hospital. He hasn't seen me this excited in quite some time, and I know he has already sorted out what is going on. He doesn't voice it however. He simply nods at me before putting the SUV in gear and getting me back to the hospital.

Once we get there I don't even pause to say hello to my other two soulmates. I charge past them and grasp Jimin's hand in my own. I lean over and whisper my news in his ear. It's the one thing I am certain will wake him up. It has to. I whisper his name along with the same six words over and over again. Then I whisper his name again along with two other words to clear up any possible confusion he might have gotten from the other six. After a while I start demanding him over and over again to wake up, before I repeat the process over and over again with his name and the six words.

I truly don't know how many times I have said it. I could have been here hunched over his body holding his hand for hours. It could be well past visiting hours, and I swear I still wouldn't move a muscle until I was sure the news I shared with him would be what woke him up and brought him back to me. Back to us.

In the next moment I gain some reassurance. I cry out because Jimin's hand that has been hopelessly still for months now twitched within my own. "That's it Jiminie. Come back to me."

Suddenly my two other soulmates in the room are behind me. I immediately feel exceptionally guilty for outright ignoring them. I was just on a mission to get this miracle to work.

Jimin's eyelids flutter, not like they had been when he had been still and asleep, but in an obvious effort to peel themselves open. I gasp as I realize I am finally going to see the dark orbs that I have been missing for months now. Then only seconds later he is staring up at me. His opposite hand reaches up to my face and he frowns for a moment when he sees the IV attached to it. Then he regains his focus and opens his mouth. His voice cracks from disuse so I hush him for a second. I turn to my other soulmates to ask one of them to get me some water, but the two of them are already moving to do just that.

"Sip slowly, Jiminie. It might make you sick if you drink too fast." Hobi suggests.

After he has had a handful of sips he turns back to me. The first thing I expect him to ask is how long he has been out. Instead he surprises me. His voice is quiet and rougher than even his sexy growls from live performances. "Did you mean what you said?" I blink in shock. "Was that real?"

"I.." I look up at the other two. I really don't want them to learn the news here like this. "Um. Can you two get a hold of the others and give us a moment alone?"

They both look awfully confused, but instead of arguing they only nod in agreement and give us some privacy. "I only just found out. Please don't say anything yet. You are the first person I told. Well, Jiwoo has suspicions because she was there when I realized it was a possibility."

"Okay, I'll...I'll stay quiet." He looks around the room. That's when he finally asks the questions I was first expecting. "What happened? How long have I been here?"

A/N:  I edited the image of Jimin so it looked like his color was partially black and white, but it is kind of hard to see that so here is a comparison image with the original on the left and the altered image on the right.
