A/N:  Ah, so we finally made it this far.  Thus we start the beginning of their Bon Voyage trip.  Things to know during this section of the story.  I believe the first two chapters of the trip are fine (this and the next) but starting with chapter 119 I would probably suggest always having something to eat before starting the chapter, or at least something to snack on.  I don't travel often but in my opinion part of travel is enjoying the cuisine of the area you are in.  Secondly, just a reminder I have never been out of the United States.  So, all of the chapters are based on my own personal research, and I will cite my resources at the end of the chapter had I used any.  I did find and use the high temperatures of the day in each area, but I have only been to a coast once myself (actually twice but once I remember) and the breeze made me exceptionally chilly so I often took that in account also.  (So, there might be some discrepancies on what people perceive as a warm temperature vs a chilly one.)

This chapter starts out with the date, but the rest won't.  I only put it here so you can have an idea of where we start timeline wise.

With all that being said.  Welcome to Bon Voyage Mediterranean Waters!

3875 words.

June 5th

A week ago I was exceptionally happy because my separation from my soulmates would finally end in only seven days time. Four days later I was cursing mother nature for the existence of MMV. I grumble in complaint as I upend my carryon and empty it out scattering the contents all over the top of my mattress. I once again am terrified that I will forget something so I am making sure that I have everything I am going to need inside of it for the lengthy flight. I should have known that eventually I would end up on a long international flight and have to deal with my monthly visitor. Granted at least I am in the second half of the week, and it really isn't as big of a deal as it could be. It's the thought in general of being on a long ass flight and having to deal with running to the bathroom just to switch out regarding my needs that is a sucky as hell concept.

I should have known that one of my soulmates would come check on me. It's a little after seven pm and I am actually supposed to be relaxing, potentially napping, before the trip. "Petal? What are you..?!?!" He pauses and his eyes grow the size of saucers as he looks at the stuff scattered all over my comforter.

I give him an apologetic look because I know he has been packed and prepared for days now. "It's a sixteen hour flight. I was terrified that I would forget something."

He frowns for a second. "Yes the flight is sixteen hours altogether, but we do have to stop in New Delhi, India to refuel."

Now it's my turn for my eyes to widen the size of saucers. "You mean it will be seventeen hours before we get to Malta?"

"As long as everything goes smoothly? Yes." He gives me a heartfelt look full of sympathy. "Why don't you make out a list really quick of what should be in here, and I will help you check everything off of it."

"But what if I forget something as I make the list?" In my head I know that I am acting hysterically, but I can't seem to help myself.

"Petal, you're just panicking. I promise that it is going to be okay." I take a deep breath and nod, letting him know that I heard him.

I take periodic glances at him as I type up a list on a checklist app on my phone. While all of my soulmates have been attentive in the spare moments that we have had together, Hobi has seemed to be more attentive than the others. One night he let me know that it was because he wanted to show me his romantic side. I had tried my best to try to reassure him that there are different versions of being romantic, and he has honestly succeeded at his own version. Even if he did only have ramen at the studio apartment the day of our first date. I can't help but jokingly add in my head.

After we go through the list Hobi makes sure to put everything not only back in the carryon, but arranged so they fit better than the haphazard way I must have stuffed them in the first time. He frowns at me. "You aren't going to be able to lay down and try to nap now are you?"

I shrug my shoulders although I know that he is probably right about that. "I mean we should be leaving in about an hour right?"

He glances at the time. "It does take some time to get to the airport, and we will want to be there a couple of hours before takeoff." His nose wrinkles for a second. "I really hope that Army hasn't caught wind of our flight. Otherwise that is another potential distraction that could slow us down."

"Are you going to dress like you normally do when going to the airport?" Like you are walking down a fashion runway. I add in my own head. Although, Hobi's sense of style is a lot more laid back than the others so that was probably a slightly unfair comparison. I wince and apologize. "I'm sorry I am a bit wound up about the flight."

"We all plan on still dressing somewhat stylish for the flight, but that's only because any time in public is a potential photo opportunity for Dispatch. If we get caught I am sure there will be some perspective article tomorrow about it."

"Good thing we will be on the plane at that point." I smirk at him.

"Indeed." He smirks back at me.

About 45 minutes later the production crew arrives. In past Bon Voyage trips they had filmed the group packing in preparation to go, but they had chosen against it this time around because they wanted to keep the mansion's location and existence a secret for as long as possible. So, with their backs against the mansion, the first thing the production crew ends up recording is our discussion as we try to figure out not only who gets to ride with me in the second SUV, but also who gets to sit beside me during the first and second half of the flight. Tae chooses to weigh in with his two cents. "While I would love to sit by my Angel during the flight I think it is only fair that she gets to sit by Jimin-hyung and Namjoon-hyung during the flight. She has had the least time with them for the past few weeks after all."

Namjoon smiles and thanks Tae for being so supportive. "I think that automatically should earn you a spot in her SUV heading there." He whoops in celebratory fashion, and something makes me wonder if that had been his plan all along. Although it was indeed exceptionally selfless of him to sacrifice potential time with me after that.

"Petal, how tired are you right now?" Hobi asks me curiously.

I shrug my shoulders. "I'm both tired and exceptionally wired. I'll probably relax once we actually get on the plane."

"So, do you think you are more than likely to fall asleep on the first part of the trip?"

I nod. "Probably.

"Then I propose she spends the first half of the trip beside Namjoonie. She has spent a bit more time with him than Jiminie over the past few weeks. It seems only fair that Jiminie gets her awake hours." His well thought out reasoning earns him the second place in the SUV with me.

"So, how do we decide who gets the last spot in her SUV?" Jk asks curiously.

"I do." Yoongi volunteers himself.

"What? Why you, hyung?" Jk pouts.

"Because, next to Namjoonie and Jiminie I have had the least time with her due to work. Even when I come home at a decent time I tend to lock myself up in the studio for hours on end."

Once the doors shut on the SUVs the production crew gets in their own SUV at the back of the lineup. Now the cameras recording our current interactions as we head to the airport are the ones that are hanging off the backs of the seats in front of us. I've been reminded time and again to be conscientious of the amount of skinship we share while we are being filmed. So, when I crawl in back with Yoongi I make sure to do no more than lay my head on his shoulder as he wraps his arm around me. I look at the camera and talk directly to Army. "So, the secret is out Min Yoongi is a fantastic cuddler." Yoongi laughs at my statement and shakes his head at me. I mentally call it a win for both Army and myself. I got the somewhat stoic Min Yoongi to smile and laugh within the first half an hour of Bon Voyage Mediterranean Waters.

Tae asks Hye Rin, who is in the passenger seat, to connect his phone to the bluetooth on the stereo system. Not long after he is crooning along with Frank Sinatra. I know that many Army love to hear him sing such amazing classics, but I also know that he didn't do this solely for them. He, more than likely, mostly did it for me. He gives the camera his profile and briefly gives me a side glance before he winks at the camera.

Hobi laughs at Tae's antics and joins in with his own melodic voice. I sit up for a second and lean into his camera's frame. "I really wish you would sing more often than you do. I bet Army feels the same way I do about that fact also. What do you think Army? Should Hobi have vocal lines more often?" I nod as if they answered me in the affirmative. "Agreed."

Hobi chuckles at me. "Then maybe my next mixtape will have more of me singing on it."

I try not to frown as I realize I sort of made a mistake just then. Honestly I shouldn't directly address the camera and Army like that. It isn't exactly what they want regarding footage. However, until we actually get to Malta and I grow accustomed to the cameras constantly on me I'm not sure that I can 100% do that. Here's to hoping that they use more of the footage without me than with me.

Luckily before long we arrive at the airport and I am able to focus a bit less on the cameras of the production crew than the personal camera that was near my face when we were in the SUV. As promised, the security we are bringing along stays within protective distance behind the crew. I notice a few Army have happened to catch sight of us, and I am sure before long not only will more Army show up but also Dispatch will be trying to get information regarding why we have a full production crew with us at an airport.

It's been awhile since I was last subjected to the VIP treatment at an International airport, but the moment we drop off our luggage an airport concierge comes over to take us to a VIP section where we won't be bothered by other passengers.

Namjoon unceremoniously drops in a plush armchair. "Now, we wait."

I smile and sit down on the floor near him. "I brought cards if we wanted to play Popcorn again."

"We might need to be reminded how to play." Jin offers, and I know he says this for the benefit of the viewers. So, I quickly explain the gameplay mechanics and rules as if this is their first time hearing them.

After that all my soulmates gather around so we can play. The armchairs have wheels underneath them so they can easily roll them over to where they need to be, although Jimin chooses to sit beside me on the floor. We leave a half circle open for the crew to be able to see the game as it progresses and not have to air footage behind someone's shoulder.

After about forty-five minutes the game draws down to Namjoon, Jin, and I who have any coins left to play. Jimin has long since traded his spot beside me for one behind me, and he has been leaning his chin on my shoulder while looking at my hand. I honestly think he might be my kryptonite here. He has a horrible poker face and is probably giving away the suit I am trying to collect. I have a decent hand so I decide to knock and hope that Namjoon has the lowest points so I can at least knock him out. Luckily my plan comes to fruition and unsurprisingly it is just Jin and I. One on one the game gets a lot more demanding because I can't hope that Jin will discard the cards I need. He's long since determined that if he throws any face card that might match something in my hand I will pick it up regardless if it was the suit I had initially planned on or not. He will never ever throw me an ace though unless he unintentionally ends up with three of them. Jin has two coins left. I have one, which means when he knocks there is only one way I can stay in the game. Luckily enough I draw the ace I need from the deck on the final pull and popcorn which makes him have to pay double.

I get up excusing myself to the ladies room. Hye Rin and Korain both follow me to the door. Hye Rin even follows me into the bathroom. "That game looks fun. You will have to teach me it sometime."

"Sure. Maybe when we all get back, and they all go back to work. I know I will have some free time after all." I giggle although really the joke just depresses me. When she doesn't reply with her own laugh I glance up at her face. For a very brief moment the expression on her face seems hard and cold to me, but it flits away after a few seconds.

We end up playing one more round of popcorn with everyone, but that game drags even longer than the first and we have to end it with no clear winner when the concierge comes to let us know that we can board the plane now. I'm so exceptionally relieved I can't help but release the tension through a large exhale.

Once we get on the plane Namjoon takes my carryon from me and stores it away. I make sure I know the location of it though since I will need it periodically throughout the trip.

After we are in the air the production team comes up from business class and gives each of my soulmates a personal video camera. I'm not too familiar with the model, but I know it looks like the same ones they have used in the past. One of the flight attendants comes over and shows Namjoon how to turn our seats into small beds. She even goes a step further to show how the center console that separates the two seats can be removed so the two of us can cuddle close to each other.

Once we both lay down I ask him. "Did you take a nap before we left?"

He shakes his head. "No, I think I was too excited to go somewhere like this with you." I smile warmly at him as he pulls me closer. I really want to sneak in a kiss or two, but I don't risk it just in case I am in the frame of one of the others' cameras. "I definitely don't think it will be hard to sleep when I can hold you close like this though." He looks left and right for a moment before lifting the blanket we are sharing over our heads and smuggling a quick kiss or two. We both grin at each other before he resituates the blanket properly.

We both fall asleep pretty fast, and I am only woken up a few hours later because I have to go to the bathroom. I pull the carryon out of its hiding place and grab the supplies I need before heading to the facilities. On my way back I find Tae pouting up at me. The seat beside him is free so I sit down for a minute to ask him what's up. "I didn't expect the flight to have beds like that. I wouldn't have offered up my opportunity to sit with you so freely if I knew I would be able to cuddle the entire trip." I can't help but chuckle softly. He truly is a huge cuddling tiger when we are in bed together, and I have indulged in a late weekend morning or two simply staying cocooned in his arms over the past few weeks.

"Perhaps, you will get the opportunity to cuddle with me like that on the way back." I offer up as a suggestion.

"Perhaps, we can break down the time shifts more than just the first half and second half." He glances at his phone to work out the time. I hadn't bothered doing the same when I first got up since it would just confuse me due to travelling over several time zones. "We still have
