Flying from the sky.

The clouds covered the bright sun, wind blowing your hair as you steered the wheel of the flying kayak. "You're very good at this. When did you learn how to fly this thing?" Sophie says, looking down at the city with amazement in her eyes. "The Princes' brother teached me. He's the king we met earlier."

"Really? I didn't know they were related. How come he didn't notice you?"

"Because I was behind you, so that's must be the reason... Hey, can I look at that ring." Sophie nodded, her hand extended as you looked at the glowing light and you followed it.

"So tell me, Sophie. What that witch told about Howl. Do you really love him?" Asking that, Sophie was too stunned to speak, gulping as her palm slightly sweats. Your voice is calm, so Sophie thinks you're not mad at her.

"Well... Maybe I am. B-But that doesn't matter anymore! I only hope he doesn't heard when that Madam Sulliman said earlier." She sighs through her nose, slumping on the chair. You only chuckled at her.

"But I seen the way you changed apperance. I think Howl can break the spell."

"H-How can you say so? Maybe this Witch of the Waste can do it." Sophie points the smiling witch who shook her head no. "No, I have a feeling that Howl will break the spell."

While flying, the rain started to pour from the sky but that doesn't distract you as you fly straight following the loght.coming from Sophie's ring. "Are you two okay there?"

"Oh, we're fine Y/N. Don't mind us."

"If you say so. But please hold on." Sophie hummed and sat on front as you stood up. Your younger sister looked down and noticed your hometown and looks up to you.

"Almost there, that's our hometown below us." Sophie inform as you nodded. You heard Heen started to wheeze when Sophie scoffed at him. "Don't try to be cut, dog. I'm still not going to trust you." She sassly said making you smile and looked back at Heen. "Madam Sulliman is probably watching us. But then again, maybe she is not."

--

Finally arrivibg at the Waste, you saw Howl's castle. "The Castle is coming to meet us!" Sophie exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear. You saw the Castle blowing smoking from it's body saying that it's there.

"Sophie!! Y/N!"

"Markl!" You and Sophie shouted, the boy waved at the two of you. "Y/N how do we get down?"

"Relax. Just sit there." You ordered and your sister oblige. Slowly placing it down. The engines stopped. "There, where safe. For now." Coming down, you helped the Witch of the Waste and Sophie to get down.

Coming from the door, Markl first saw the Witch of the Waste with Heen as Markl backs away and met you and Sophie. Grinning at you as she hugged Sophie first and then you. "I missed you, Y/N!"

"I missed you too, Markl. Thank you for meeting us here."

Going inside you went to Calcifer and gave her a warm smile. "Hello Calcifer. You alright there?"

"Yes, still breathing." And then he looked at the Witch making him hissed at the woman in front of him. "Why is that woman here? She's the witch of the Waste!" He whisper shoited at you, his eyes narrowed at the creepy lady.

"Don't worry, Calcifer. Her powers has been drained by that Madam Sulliman." Glancing at the woman who seems to be looking at Calcifer. It concerns you, knowing that she come here for Howl's heart.

"But I'm still worried that woman might be up to something."

"Maybe, I know her intention. Getting Howl's heart. And you know I'm Howl's heart, right?" Nodding and touched his flames like you were patting him. "Don't worry, I can touch you so no ones gonna harm you."

"Thanks Y/N." Humming, you went to Sophie for helping her cook some dinner for tonight.

It's been a long journey for you and Sophie for the whole day. It is nice to have a relaxing night.

--

Waking up from the noise upstairs, you looked in the window. It's already morning, you stretched your body and dressed up casually for today.

Going downstairs, you saw Sophie leaving the Castle. "Where is my sister going?"

"Outside, probably want some fresh air." He reply, looking at the Witch of the Waste skeptically. "Hmm, is Howl here? I heard the faucet when I woke up."

"Yeah, he looks terrible. Been pushing himself too far. I already told your sister that she need to break this curse from us." He says. "You know about the curse with me and Howl right? Do you have any idea?"

"To be honest, I don't actually know Calcifer. And I think this is gor the best if Sopgie did this. She love Howl." You softly say, smiling at the thought. "And how about that scarecrow? He's cursed too. Do you know how to break it?"

"No, but I have a feeling that I know him. But I don't know who... He reminded me of my friend, Prince Justin." Sighing you looked at Calcifer. "I'll be going outside. See you." You went to the door and left the castle.

Going outside, you saw mist above the mountains, you saw Sophie with Turnip Head. The scarecrow notices you as he jump up and down making you grin. "Good morning, Turnip. You seem rather excited."

"Of course, he seen you that's why he's jumping." Sophie tease making you chuckle. "Well, I missed him too. Good thing you're alright, Turnip." The scarecrow only jumps as a response. "Y/N, I think I really do love him."

"You think?" You replied making Sophie deadpans at you. "You're always in love whenever Howl looks at you with those sparkly eyes."

"What? No, that's rubbish." She denies making you scoff softly. "Why did you just realized it now?" You say, crossing your arms around your chest. "Because I thought Howl likes you. I seen him being flirty you." After hearing those stupid thoughts of your sister, you started to laugh, almost crying.

"Oh please, that man is too childish for me. I don't I can handle a man like him. So dramatic." You say, wiping the tears in the corner of your eyes. "But I know he changed. He's better with you anyways. I can picture it."

"You really think so?"

"I know so. I'm your big sister." You said in a proud smile.

--

Entering the house, you make porridge for everyone. Sophie is the one feeding the Witch of the Waste who's looking at the fire again. "Don't feed her, that's the witch of the Waste!" Calcifer scolded Sophie. "Oh she's alright." Sophie groaned. "She keeps staring at me, it's creeping me out." as the Woman looked at the fire again as he makes himself small. "What a pretty fire."

You heard footsteps rushing downstairs and noticed Howl with a smile on his face. "Good morning, everyone."

"Master Howl, can we keep this dog? Can't we?" Markl pleaded and pats the dog who wheeze again. Howl looked at the Witch of the Wast and Sulliman's dog. "The Witch of the Waste and Sulliman's dog at my table? What possess you to let them in my house Calcifer?"

"I didn't do it! She just entered the house with Sophie and Y/N!" He shouted and Howl laughs at his friend. "Good thing the flying kayak didn't crashed on the house." Walking towards you. You sat on the chair while Turnip is stand from the mouth of the castle. "Looks like we have yet another addition to the family." Howl leans his face to the scarecrow. "Hmm, you've got quite a nasty spell on you too, huh? Seems everyone in this family got problems." He says, the Witch of the Waste compliments Howl's appearance as he look at all of you.

"So! We've go to a lot a work to do. We're moving!" Right, you think that the soldiers might hunt Howl to the houses this Castle has been teleported to, make sense.

"Moving?" Asked Sophie. "That's good, I've been sick of being stuck out here in a middle of nowhere." Markl says, eating his porridge. "Madam Sulliman is hot on our trail. So we're gonna have to hurry."

Looking at Turnip Head, he smiles apologetically. "I'm afraid this spell is too powerfull to you. You're gonna have to stay behind."
