A few days have passed, Li Xi Rui has been diligently learned martial arts and improve her cooking. Today she tried a new recipe. This recipe had been in her mind for a while, so she want to at least try it before serving it to her family.

Tying up her new apron, she is now standing at the kitchen with Xiao xi. Taking the purple sweet potato, yellow sweet potato and light yellow sweet potato, she asked Xiao xi to wash and grate them.

Now, she divided the glutinous rice flour into 4 different portions.

The first portion, she squeezed a bit of juice from the purple sweet potato and mixed it with a bit of sugarcane juice. The second portion for the yellow sweet potato and the third for the light yellow sweet potato. In the forth portion, she took some mashed roses and squeeze the red colour into the bowl.

She put some sweet potato stuffing inside the dough and makes small balls. Next, she boiled all the small glutinous rice ball till they're floating. After putting some coconut milk and sugarcane water, the dessert is ready to be eaten hot.

As usual, Xiao Xi is her trustworthy food tester.

"Miss! It's so delicious! Wow!", chomping and gulping down the soup, in mere minutes, she finished the whole bowl.

"What do you think? Not too sweet? How about the roses ball? Are they compatible with the sweet potatoes?", Li Xi Rui is particular about her cooking.

"Miss... slow down", this is the only time Li Xi Rui can be seen this excited. Apart from cooking, she doesn't seem to be interested in anything else. "The rose balls are compatible with the sweet potatoes stuffing. It gives a nice aroma to the dessert. The coconut milk and sugarcane provide a sweet and milky taste to the sticky rice ball. This is your best dessert yet!", she almost seems like an expert with her answer.

Satisfied with Xiao Xi's reviews, Li Xi Rui packed the remaining portions to three different packages. Two for her father and mother and another for Mr. Mask. Today is the day she will meet with him to get the report.

"Let's go Xiao Xi", she and Xiao Xi walked to the carriage.

Arriving to the tea house, they sit at the same place as their first meeting. Out of nowhere, Mr. Mask appeared.

Li Xi Rui kept her poker face under her veil.

"Miss Li, ready for the report?", Mask asked without greeting. As usual, he is a straight forward guy.

"Continue", Li Xi Rui sips her tea.

"Miss Li, your information is correct. There had been a plan to rob your home tomorrow night. The object of interest is a glass orb. Are you aware of the said object?", Mask asked.

Shaking her head, she said, "No. I have never seen it before".

"Figured", Mask murmured. "Well, the orb seems to be your family's treasure and hidden somewhere in your house. As of the precise place, I believe the Left Prime Minister must have known as he is the head of the Li's clan. But, why did they want it, is not known as they seem to be hired by another", explained Mask.

"So you couldn't find out who the culprit is?", Li Xi Rui asked.

"At the moment, no. But I have gone out of my own volition to provide necessary arrangement to guard your house. I will need extra time to investigate this case as it is not as simple as it seems", Mask looks apologetic.

"Oh... thanks Mr. Mask. I didn't know it would be that complicated", lied Li Xi Rui. She already knew it's not a simple matter.

"If nothing the matter, I will go first, Miss Li should go back and not come out from your residence. It's better to be vigilant", Mask rise to leave.

"Wait Mr. Mask, I still have something to ask. I know its not within the scope of my initial request, but can you investigate Miss Mu Jiu Jiu?", Li Xi Rui stared at the masked man.

"Hurm... I will give you a detailed report about her next time. At the moment she is not in the capital. She went to the northwest border", Mask answered after some thinking. His master said do everything she requests, so he is doing it right now.

"This is for you as I've just increase your work load. It's for thanking you", Li Xi Rui pushed the package to mask.

'Should I receive this or not? But master said do everything she requests, so... I should just accept?'. "Miss Li, thank you. Then I'll be going", he disappeared.

"Seeing it the second time still amazed Xiao Xi. Xiao Xi wondered if after the thousandth times seeing it will it still be as amazing as now?", Xiao Xi muttered loudly.

"Well, he is an assassin. Better stay out of his way", Li Xi Rui is not stupid to be too close to that assassin. The rice balls are only for him to accept her new request regarding Mu Jiu Jiu. Like a food bribe? But never had she ever thought it will be that easy for him to accept new request.

As of the case regarding Mu Jiu Jiu's changes, the event when she left the capital is still happening but the date has been pushed back. Sighing, she is a bit comforted. At least she knew, nothing out of her knowledge will happen. She still could save her family. Riding back to the mansion, she need to leave a secret letter for her father to be wary off any attempt robbery. Even when mask had said he will send guard to her home, its better to have back up plan.

In the Jian Palace~

"Master!", Jie san greeted.

"Report!", Long Jie watched Jie san's hand. Jie san is holding a package.

Noticing his master's narrowed eyes, he handed the package. He already reported everything regarding the attempt robbery to Long Jie before he met Miss Li so he told about her request to investigate Mu Jiu Jiu.

Eyeing the package, Long Jie's eyes seem to be asking Jie San 'what is this package?'.

"It's from miss Li. It's a thank you. It's food. Master about Miss Li's new request...", before he could continue his word, Long Jie interrupted him.

"Just go and do a good job. Now, go", he waved his hand indicating Jie san to get out. Long Jie wanted to rummage through the package so much he can't wait for his shadow guard to walk away before he starts tearing the package.

When Long Jie saw it is food, he hastily drains the content. As Jie San watched his master cold face blooms like a flower, he flies away! Fraud! When he started working as shadow guard, the chief Jie Yi told him their master have face paralysis so he couldn't smile. Then, just what happened back there? It's not a cold smile or a smirk! It's the all you can see gums and front teeth smile! Disappearing into the night, he will question the chief later!
