"Second Prince's consort! They have found the Second Prince!", said Jie Er he couldn't contain the excitement from his voice.

"What?", the bitter medicine QiQi forced her to drink spills on the floor with the bowl shattered to hundred pieces.

"Madam, Vice general Xu will come in with the master in a while. Second master is now with the crown prince", whispered Jie Er. In fact, Rui Sheng is telling the crown prince that he saved Long Jie by chance.

"Second Prince's consort, excuse us", Vice general Xu's could be heard outside of the tent.

"Let them in", ordered Li Xi Rui. Her feeling is jumbling around; excitement, nervousness and anger. She wanted to see the face haunting her dreams at night.

Three soldiers come inside the tent; one unconscious man being hold up by two soldiers; Vice general Xu and General Murong. Without wasting time, Li Xi Rui walks toward the unconscious man and swipe the hair falling on his face. Her hand trembling touching his pale hand, her mouth muttering, "Jie...". Finally, she could let go. She could let go the stuffiness in her chest. Without she realized, tears trickling down her cheeks, her head light, her sight blurry.

"Second Prince's consort!!!", suddenly QiQi's voice could be heard echoes in the tent.

Li Xi Rui has fainted. Letting her emotion go, the tiredness eats away her consciousness, engulfing her in darkness forcing her to rest.

Two beautiful people; a man and a woman hand in hand unconscious on a small bed while QiQi and Jie Er looked after the two.

"Madam... how could her hand be that strong?", Jie Er muttered. He had tried to separate the two to put them on different beds but Li Xi Rui's hand had gripped Long Jie's hand. Jie Er is afraid to hurt Li Xi Rui if he uses too much force.

"A fool like you wouldn't understand", a voice whispered in Jie Er's ear.

"Hieee!!!", Jie Er hold his ear. A trail of goosebumps went down his spine from the back of his neck. "....chief.... why are you here?", Jie Er steps away from Jie Yi making some distance between their bodies.

Jie Yi's eyes turned dark, "I can be wherever I wanted to be. Why? Am I not welcome here?".

"No...", Jie Er replied hesitantly.

Ignoring Jie Er, Jie Yi look at QiQi and ask, "Is Master alright?"

"Master, he... is in a bad shape. He suffered from internal injuries and malnutrition worsen his condition", QiQi tried her best to explain. She knew that Jie Yi will blame himself for failing to protect the master.

Jie Yi looked at the figure lying down on the small bed, "If only I'm not that incompetent". Jie Yi take his role as the chief of the shadow guards seriously. He didn't allow himself to fail. Meanwhile, behind Jie Yi, QiQi is warning Ji Er with her facial expression. 'You are dead if the chief wanting to retire! I'll cut you apart myself', QiQi's eyes sending her thought to Jie Er. QiQi is not someone who would usually threatened to kill anyone, but in this matter, she could make some exception. It's not the time for anyone to retire.

"..Ye..s... Of course. I need you to be our chief", said Jie Er trying to sound convincing. Hoping he has convinced the chief, Jie Er look at QiQi seeking for approval. But contrary to his expectations, QiQi drag her finger across her throat warning him again. "F..f.. forever! I need you forever! I hope chief could be by myside forever!", shrieked Jie Er. The old physician in the Qilin sect would kill him if he knew that Jie Er dare to disagree with his niece.

"Is that so?", muttered Jie Yi. "Then, don't regret it later. It is you who wanted me by. Your. Side. Forever", Jie Yi uttered the words one by one.
