"Nafise Hanim, you look so beautiful as a bride," Maryam said to me as she helped me to dress in the red wedding dress that Mahidevran Sultan gifted for me. Red wedding dress was really beautiful but I really didn't want to enter this forced marriage as much as I pretended to be really strong in front of the whole harem and all the girls who were so jealous of me.

"I don't want this marriage," I sighed forcing myself not to do something bad in this moment. I wish I could run away somewhere and save myself from this. But I had no where to run, because my family wouldn't want me if I do that.

"You must do it Nafise Hanim. There is no way back. Don't overstress about this, maybe you will fall in love with Sehzade and think later how you worried without a valid reason," Maryam comforted me and I knew I have no more time but instead I should go into the Harem for the ceremony of the wedding where whole harem was.

I went down the stairs which led from my chambers to harem where was a throne. Mahidevran Sultan sat there and she had very serious expression on her face and I know she wasn't satisfied with this decision, but neither Mustafa nor me were and we were just forced on this from my father and Sultan Suleiman.

Next to Mahidevran down on the pillow sat Fatma who had her son Suleiman in her hands and she placed giant crown on her head and so much jewelry just because she wanted to show her status in front of all girls in harem. She repeated so many times she is mother of the first born son like I cared.

"Sultanim," I bowed to Mahidevran and kissed her hand as the traditions says and sat on the pillow next to Fatma.

There were musicians who had their eyes covered because they shouldn't see all the concubines in harem because only eunuchs could have a contact with woman. Girls were dancing and it was pretty fine atmosphere, but only because it was celebrated, no one was happy because of the wedding.

"Sultanim, Sehzade Mustafa gave notification. From now on Nafise Haseki Hanim is his legitimate wife," one of the aghas said and Mahidevran smiled to him and then smiled to me.

"I hope you will find happiness with my son Mustafa very soon and that the heir will be born," Mahidevran said as Fidan gave her box which she then gave to me.

I opened it and inside I found a beautiful necklace with tulip sign which symbolised Ottoman dynasty and it was only possible to become one when you give birth to a son.

"You don't have a heir still, but as Prince's legitimate wife you are part of our dynasty," Mahidevran said and Fidan nodded me as a mention so I kissed Mahidevran's hand as the traditions said.

"Thank you, Sultanim," I said.

"How she can get that necklace when she didn't give birth to a son? Only then she is a member of dynasty," Fatma raised her head and said loudly so whole harem could hear her. I rolled with my eyes because I didn't want to fight with anyone on this day which I wish never happened.

"Fatma you won't involve into this," Mahidevran said but Fatma didn't seem like she would stop now because she was really nervous. I couldn't even imagine how it felt to look at man you love marrying another woman, because I never fell in love with anyone.

"How I can't involve Sultanim? She is obviously a persian spy and you don't see it. She will do something bad to our Prince I am sure of it," Fatma yelled and everyone turned to me.

At that moment music stopped as Mahidevran signalised them and she sighed. I felt horrible at this place but I wouldn't let a slave maid like Fatma hurt my pride never.

"I know you are sad, Fatma, but that doesn't allow you to behave like this towards me. You call me a spy, you say bad things to me, but you are just searching the reasons to hurt me because you are jealous of me," I said and some maids looked at Fatma and laughed because everyone of them knew this was true.

"I would be never jealous of someone like you who is not welcome here. I am Sultana don't forget how you talk to me," Fatma yelled like she forgot Mahidevran is here.

"I don't care about your title but I think you can't behave like this in front of Mahidevran Sultan. Show her some respect as you should and don't embarrass yourself like this because you are mother of a prince," I said seriously and Fatma stayed silent. I saw Mahidevran was amazed by my words and how I respected her but I would never allow Fatma to talk like this no matter what.

"Fatma you can go to your chambers now," Mahidevran ordered her before Fatma ashamedly left the Harem and headed towards her chambers where her son was.

"I am sorry to speak like this in front of you Sultanim, but I can't stay silent on those things," I said.

"You said well to her, I am proud to see woman like you being a wife of my son because you are exactly a type of woman he deserves - strong and independent," she said and I didn't know if she meant her words for real or not but that didn't worry me a lot.

Maryam came inside telling us it's time for me to leave to go to Mustafa. To our first night spent together, the night which made me so afraid what will happen now.

"Taslicali, I don't know if I can trust her. This marriage, all of this, I don't know how to feel about this," Mustafa was nervously walking around his chambers talking with his best friend Taslicali Yahya before Nafise would come into his chambers.

"What opinion did you get my prince for the first time you saw her?" Taslicali asked.

"She is really beautiful, the most beautiful woman I have seen, but I don't know if she trusted that I am spy or she knows we play the game," Mustafa said as he checked if all the guards are on his terrace of a situation if Nafise actually plans to do something bad to him.

"You will see everything tonight, Şehzadem, but I think she won't do anything bad to you," Taslicali said.

I arrived in front of the chambers which were supposed to be Mustafa's. At that moment young man left his chambers and he showed me with his hand to come inside. Aghas opened the doors for me and I walked with my head bowed down not looking at him even for a second.

I arrived in front of him still being afraid who he is. I felt his hand on my chin as he slowly raised my head up. I closed my eyes knowing this moment would change my whole life and everything to me.

"Why don't you look at me?" A similar voice asked me when I opened my eyes and saw a man who pretended to be a persian spy sent by my mother.

"You?"
