"Hermione, how was I supposed to know that was his mom? I've never seen the lady before." I huffed, as I plopped down on my bed.

"Well she obviously knew who you were." Hermione stated.

"I don't know how, I've never talked to her." I argued.

"Maybe, Malfoy told her about you." Hermione raised an eyebrow, as she opened up one of her new books.

"Ha.... ha.... ha..." I spoke sarcastically, "you should be a comedian, you know that?"

That's when there was a knock at our door.

"Come in." Hermione laughed, as she flipped through the pages of her book.

Harry came bursting through the door.

"I need your help!" He expressed.

"With what?" Hermione quickly sat up.

"Ron, he ate some candy that was gifted to me... someone spiked them with a love potion." Harry said.

"Ron... love potion.... I'm out." Hermione said, opening her book again.

She was still upset about Ron and Lavender dating.

"Fine, I'm coming." I groaned, standing up.

I Hadn't talked to Harry since our argument at the Weasley's.

I quickly followed Harry to his and Ron's room.

Ron laid on his bed, smiling ear to ear.

"Who sent the candy?" I asked Harry.

"Note says Romilda, the girl that Hermione pointed out in the library.  She sent chocolate, but you know how Ron is with sweets." Harry nervously rubbed the back of his neck.

"I'm gonna marry her." Ron smiled as he quickly stood up.

"Lavender?" I questioned him.

"Who's that?! I'm gonna marry Romilda!" Ron spat at me.

"Have you even talked to her?" Harry asked him, he sounded annoyed already.

Ron thought for a second, before grabbing my hand and holding up to his face.

"...no," he rubbed his cheek across my hand, "could you introduce me?"

"Oh yeah, we will take you too her now!" I smiled at Ron.

I looked up at Harry, who looked more confused than ever.

"Hook arms with him, so he can't run away." I whispered to Harry.

We both linked arms with Ron.

In his current state, I don't think he could run away from us but.... I didn't want to take any chances.

"We've gotta take him to professor Slughorn, this potion must be a pretty powerful one." I told Harry, as we walked the halls.

Ron sloppily dragged his feet, as we made it to professor Slughorn's office.

Harry knocked on his door loudly.

"What is it?" Professor Slughorn creaked the door open slightly, speaking out of the small opening.

"I'm sorry, but we wouldn't both you unless it was absolutely necessary." Harry told him.

Slughorn opened the door more, and peaked his head out.

"Oh dear," Slughorn eyes got wide, "yes, come in."

He opened the door for us, and we entered his room.

We set Ron down on the couch. I sat next to him, to make sure he didn't wanted or break anything.

"I'm sorry about our misunderstanding earlier, I didn't mean to say something that would upset you." Harry told Slughorn.

"No worries, Harry." Slughorn said, as he was working on a potion to reverse the effects of the love potion.

Ron wrapped his arms around me, and laid his head on my shoulder.

He closed his eyes, and began humming softly.

"Hurry up, he's starting to annoy the shit out of me." I begged Slughorn.

Slughorn turned to me, and smiled.

"Must have been a pretty strong one," He walked over, and handed Ron a small vile, "drink up."

Ron took the vile, and quickly swallowed the contents.

As the drink kicked in, Ron quickly let go of me.   A confused look grew on his face, as he got up and stepped away.

"Welcome back to reality, Ron." Harry joked, patting Ron on the back.

"Thank you, professor." I stood up, and shook Slughorn's hand.

"No problem, dear," Slughorn shook my hand back, "anyone want.. something to drink?"

He grabbed a bottle of wine from his cabinet.

"I'm not one to turn a drink down." I laughed.

"She's not lying." Ron chuckled.

Slug horned poured four cups, one for each of us.

Ron and I smiled at each other, as we both took long gulps.

A small tickle began growing in my throat.

I tried coughing slightly, but it didn't go away.

Something wasn't right.

I looked back at Ron, and by the look on his face... he was thinking the same thing.

My hands began shaking violently, causing me to drop my cup.

Ron quickly fell to the ground, as he began shaking.

My whole body began shaking, as I fell to the ground as well.

White, frothy foam poured from my mouth, as my eyes rolled back into my head.

I felt like I couldn't breath.

Everything was black now, I couldn't hear anything either.

Was I just poisoned?

Shit!

Wait, am I fucking dead?

My throat quickly opened, letting air back into my lungs.

My eyes quickly opened, as my vision came back.

Slughorn and Harry stood before us, Ron laid at my side.

He was gasping for air as well.

"Oh, these girls are gonna kill me!" Ron groaned.

Ron and I were taken to the hospital wing, to be monitored over night.

Slughorn admitted that he was planning on giving the wine to Dumbledore as a gift.

He didn't know how it got poisoned, the seal was still intact when he opened it.

Ron laid on the bed next to mine, moaning and groaning.

I was fine.

Harry and Hermione sat at our sides, as Lavender pushed passed everyone.

"It's me, my little Won-Won." She took Ron's hand.

He didn't say anything.

Lavender turned her attention to Hermione.

"What are you doing here?!" Lavender growled.

"Me?! I'm his best friend!" Hermione stood up and yelled at her, "You're worried about me being here, when they were just poisoned! They could have died!"

Ron stirred, and mumbled.

"What is it?" Lavender asked him.

"Hermione." Ron begged in a whisper.

Lavender's face drained of color, as she dropped Ron's hand.

She stood up and ran out... crying.

It took all of my self control to contain my giggles.

Hermione took Ron's hand with a smile.
