That summer, I spent alone.

I was grounded, like always.

My parents are against me having magic, and being the only one in our family that can do magic.

They keep me in my room as much as they can.

Hermione wrote to me all summer, she always does.

I think that's what rebuilt our friend ship.

Ron is too lazy to write, and Harry's guardians don't let him.

My summer consisted of lots of cigarettes, and constant thoughts of Draco Malfoy.

Every day, I waited... and waited for a letter from him.

It never came.

I guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.

I was turning 17 this year, Draco turned 17 over the summer.

Being older now, I didn't know if that was better or worse.

...

"How's Harry?" I asked Hermione, as we sat together on the train heading to Hogwarts.

Harry was sleeping with his head against the window.

"He had a trial, with the ministry of magic. Dementor's went after him, and his cousin this summer. He had to use magic to save their lives. Harry's been up since the early hours." Hermione flipped through her news paper.

"Well, this is the first I'm hearing of this. Thanks for keeping me updated." I replied sarcastically.

"We heard about it this morning, Don't be all in a tussy." Ron groaned at my comments.

Harry slept nearly the whole train ride.

I would be exhausted if I had to deal with all this.

Dementor's were roaming more often. There were more sightings of death eaters, Voldemort was back.

Voldemort was growing stronger.

We all loaded off the train when we arrived at Hogwarts.

The night sky was filled with stars.

"Surprised to see you here, Potter." Malfoy spat at us as him and his 'crew' walked at our sides, "don't worry, they've got a cell in Azkaban with your name on it."

Draco, and his crew let out a loud chuckle.

"Shut up, Malfoy." I hissed, as I looked straight ahead.

"Little Ms Stewart grew a bit mouthy over the summer.... what are these? Hand me downs from your muggle parents." Draco tugged at the sleeve of my sweat shirt.

"He's not worth it." Harry told me.

I shook off Malfoy's comments, as we walked away from them.

All I could think about was how good Malfoy looked in black, and how good his rings looked on his fingers.

Our carriage waited for us.

Luna stood next to it, waiting for us.

"I've missed you!" I hugged her, Luna hugged me back as she smiled.

On the ride to Hogwarts on the carriage, Luna told us all about her weird little facts.

I thought they were interesting, and it was nice to see her talk about something she liked.

As we sat in the grand hall, Dumbledore introduced our new defense against the dark arts teacher.

Professor Umbridge, she was from the ministry of magic.

She was short, and dressed in all pink.

She spoke when she wanted to, with an evil smile pasted on her face.

"You know what this means? The ministry is trying to get in the middle of Hogwarts." Hermione whispered in my ear, as Umbridge spoke.

"I've got a bad feeling about this." I replied.

Something in my gut told me this lady, was bad news.

"She was at my trial." Harry told us.

The words he spoke, made that feeling a hell of a lot worse.

As Hermione and I walked to our room, the hat that was on my head was yanked off.

"Give that back, that's Cedrick's!" I yelled.

Malfoy dangled my hat in the air.

People stared, as the walked past us in the busy hallway.

Draco knew exactly how to press my buttons.

Draco liked to make me mad.

"Ahhh, I think I might keep this one too. " Malfoy smirked.

Crabbe and Goyle stood at his sides, with their arms crossed.

"Give it back, asshole." I yelled, trying to grab my hat from Draco's grip.

He was too tall for me to be able to grab it.

Hermione grabbed my arm.

"He's not worth it." She said, pulling me away.

I gritted my teeth, as we began to walk away.

What a dick head.

"Thats what I thought, you mudblood." Draco spat, letting out a chuckle.

That comment pushed me over the edged.

Do it, do it, do it!

The voice in my head repeated those words over, and over.

"On second thought.." I yanked my arm out of Hermione's grip.

I marched over to Malfoy, and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

Draco's smirk was quickly taken over by the look of fear that spread across his face.

I used all my strength, and punched him across the face.

I let go of his shirt as my fist smacked acrosshis face.

Draco flew to the ground on his back.

Draco wined loudly, as he laid there.

His nose looked a little crooked as it  poured blood.

Students swarmed from all over, and created a circle around us.

"Who's got the high ground now, bitch?" I spat at Draco.

I stood over him, as I looked down on him.

Draco continued to cry out.

I ripped the hat from his hands.

"Man, that felt good." I shook my hand in the air.

I pulled my fist back again.
Before I could punch him again, someone grabbed my bicep.

I turned my head to see professor McGonagall.

"My office, now." She spoke, as she pulled my arm.

Shit

"Ahh! I think she broke my nose." Draco cried, as I stepped away from him.

He rolled on the ground holding his face.

His blood was pooled and smeared all over him, and the ground.

I even had some on my hand

"I'll piss on your grave!" I yelled back at Draco, as professor McGonagall lead me too her office.
