Dhruv

"Is it necessary to wear all this?" I asked holding the weird beard in my hand. Anyone will recognize us. I don't know why did I agree to Kiaan's suggestion. I would have stopped the bachelorette my way but he wanted some thrill.

"Of course, it is."

"Here, take this Malhotra." Kiaan threw the beard to Arjun but he didn't catch it and was sulking in a corner.

"I don't want it," Arjun replied.

Fixing his bow Hredhaan asked, "What's wrong with him?"

"Ask what's wrong between him and his food," Jai replied chuckling.

"Yeah, I forgot. So what's the matter this time?"

"He still didn't get to know the menu and also he is hungry," I replied.

Patting Arjun's back Rohit teased him more, "So sad dude, but don't worry we won't let you be hungry. If needed we will go to the moon to bring food for you."

"Traitors," Arjun said and in the state he was, it was quite evident that he was not ready to join us at the party. But after Kiaan whispered something in his ears he got ready within minutes.

"What did you say to him?" I asked.

"It's a secret." I shrugged it off for the time being and all of us got ready.

"I still feel its a bad idea," Namit said.

"Me too dude, me too."

I thought that only two of us were being sane and I was right.

"So boys, don't lose hope. We will win this battle." Ishaan being a little elder tried to cheer all of us for the battle. Yeah, it was kind of a battle, we were the knights going to save our princesses.

Suddenly Arjun yelled, "Inquilab Zindabad." All of us turned towards him in confusion.

"Why are you all looking at me like that? We say it before going to the war, right?" Oh No, this dumbhead is taking it too seriously and moreover, his hunger is making him lose his sanity.

"Guys, ignore. He is just hungry." Ishaan commented.

"Yeah, let's leave." Kiaan too agreed. Everyone went out of the room while I was the last one to follow them. All of them including Namit started to sing.

"We shall overcome, we shall overcome someday."

That's how I realized I was the only sane person left in the end.

'I am trapped, muffin. See what your Dhruv has to bear now.'

I was inside the closet, ready in the dress but was scared to go out. What will everyone think of me? The dress was comfortable but I wasn't confident of myself.

"You are taking a lot of time. Should I come inside?" I heard Dhriti. Everyone has already gone to the terrace club where the party is to be held except for us.

"Just a second." Though I told her to wait for a second but gathering courage to face everyone in this dress doesn't seem easy to me. Even when I was trying this dress in the morning I was not confident but since it was for a few minutes I managed and right now I have to be in it for the whole night. Seconds turned into minutes and I was still at the same place.

With difficulty, I went out because I can't stay in the closet for long.

"Wow! You look beautiful," she exclaimed.

"Really?" I thought she must be saying it for the sake of me but her eyes spoke honesty.

"Of course."

"I don't know I am just...." As I started to tell her what's my problem she completed my sentence.

"Insecure?"

I nodded in response and was surprised how does she know?

"I used to be insecure as well, all my confidence was lost." Her face became gloomy maybe because of remembering her bad times. I couldn't help myself and ask,

"Then how did you manage?"

"Slowly and steadily I started to love myself for the person I am."

"Was it easy?" Smiling sadly she shook her head while her eyes were telling how tough it had been for her.

"It wasn't but it seemed easy with each passing day."

Why can't the world be filled with people like her, like Dhruv, like everyone in their family? Why are there people who try to pull each other down either by their action or their words?

"Where are you lost?"

"Nowhere."

"Saavi, if you are still not comfortable in this dress then you can change. No one will say anything."

"I know, but I am comfortable. I don't want to let my insecurities win." If she can overcome her fears and defeat her insecurities then why can't I?

"Really?" She was so delighted, hearing me and I nodded to make her grin wider.

"I am so proud of you," she said.

Both of us went to the terrace where everyone was already waiting for us.

I just wish Dhruv would have seen me like this.

'What are you thinking? No, Saavi, stop yourself. He is ignoring you did you forget?'

My inner self reminded me as I have still not received a reply from him. He might be busy but can't he just send me a single text? Leave the text, he should have sent me an emoticon at least.

"Saavi, come."

I followed her to the small door and as I entered the darkroom, I was welcomed with loud cheering of Welcome, Surprise, and hooting as well. Everyone was dolled up in white except me. Since I was the bride, I was wearing blue.

To be honest, I wore blue because of Dhruv only but what's the use when he can't even see me. I was made to sit in the center and everyone took their seats surrounding me. For a moment I became conscious of my surrounding as there were men too, weird-looking men.

"Don't worry, they are just bartenders. They won't harm." Adya whispered sensing my discomfort.

"But they are quite hot." Riddhi was gawking at them but then released a defeated sigh.

Adya when looked at them asked, "Should we flirt then?"

"No way, what if our husbands find out?" Riddhi was horrified at the idea and I was shocked listening to their conversation.

"They won't," Adya replied.

"Sammy, see what she is saying?" Adya complained to Dhriti.

"She is right, let's have some fun. It's not like we do it every day. Once in a year doesn't hurt." Dhriti's reply made my eyes widened.

Not considering it as a joke I questioned, "Are you guys serious?"

"More than serious, sweetheart," Dhriti replied and winked at me.

Dhruv

All of us had already taken our spot while Arjun was sitting on a stool at the corner. Girls started entering and my eyes were in search of my lady but she was nowhere in my sight.

"Why everyone is in white?" Hredhaan was puzzled at the choice of colour of everyone's dresses.

"It might be the dress code," I replied. The club was left dark for a while with the dim lights illuminating. I was waiting in anticipation just to have a glimpse of my muffin.

"Did you see Sama?" Namit asked looking here and there in search of my little one.

"Not yet, even muffin is not here," I replied.

"They must be coming together." he had the same thought as mine.

"I think so."

All the lights were turned off after a while and the girls stood up. The gate opened and two figures came in our sight.

Lights were turned on and I almost was knocked out looking at the beautiful figure in front of me.

Everyone cheered for my muffin while she smiled shyly. She was wearing a royal blue gown and her hairs were turned up into a beautiful bun.

"Wow!" That was the only word that left my mouth but no I wasn't the only person to be left bemused. Mr.Khanna was the one too who didn't blink his eyes looking at my little one.

They made Saavi sit in such a way that only her back was visible to me. Cursing my luck I busied myself.

"Kiaan's idea is great. The dresses these girls are wearing are undoubtedly beautiful but I can't let anyone else see my wife in it without my presence." Rohit being a possessive husband was very happy at Kiaan's idea.

"I agree too." Ishaan supported him

"You both should look at your wives," Jai said to them making them turn towards their wives.

"What happened?" I asked.

"They are ogling at us and don't forget we are mere strangers for them," Namit replied patting their shoulders and I was quite astonished when I found that Adya and Riddhi were staring at us.

The girls turned their heads when Simran, Sonia, and Nitya went onto the stage.

Nitya took a mike in her hand and announced, "Ladies and ladies and not to mention the hottest bartenders of the town. We all are gathered here for the bachelorette of the sweetest Saavi Bhabhi. Cheer for her lovelies." After she handed the mike to Sonia, she turned towards us and smiled.

"Why is my sister giving us a flirtatious look?" Namit queried while I was perplexed too at her behaviour.

"I don't know," I replied.

Why do I sense that these girls are up to something?

Sonia after taking the mike from Nitya said, "Guys, since we were short on time, so couldn't arrange much. Please, forgive us for that. But still, the fun will be full. This is an all-nighter party. We have everything from drinks, to food and we will be having karaoke sessions as well."

When she was done Simran took the mike from her and said, "And one more thing, there is a surprise too only for our Saavi Bhabhi. Let's start first with the karaoke session."

Simran and Sonia left the stage after that leaving Nitya to manage everything, "So, who is going to be a volunteer." Nitya asked and Riddhi agreed to be the first.

"Wow! I thought you are going to shy out like Rohit Bhai." Nitya said while we teased Rohit.

"Oh, not at all sweetheart. And let's forget our looser husband and fiances for tonight." She said making all of our jaws drop to the ground.

"Looser? Like seriously?" Rohit asked baffled.

"So come up here, Riddhi Bhabhi, what are you waiting for?"

Her song started with Jennifer Lopez's Ain't Your Mama while Rohit's mouth was hung low.

With every passing line, his expression was changing.

[I ain't gon' be cooking all day, I ain't your mama

I ain't gon' do your laundry, I ain't your mama

I ain't your mama, boy, I ain't your mama

When you're gon' get your act together?

I ain't your mama

No, I ain't your mama

No, I ain't your mama, no]

"Who's going to be next? Any guesses?"

Every girl was taking each other's names and suddenly Namit yelled, "My Sama." Hredhaan had to put his hand on his mouth and hide him. The girls look behind but then shrugged it off.

"This man will get us killed," Kiaan whispered.

"It was all your idea, idiot." I smacked his head making him frown.

When Hredhaan removed his hand from his mouth Namit whispered, "Now Sama will sing."

I raised my eyebrows in astonishment and asked, "And how are you so sure?"

"Can't you hear the music? It's Zara Larsson's song."

"Who is she?"

"Your sister's favourite singer dumbhead."

Namit Khanna who doesn't know the name of male singers can recognize the song of female singers. Quite Impressive!

[Oh my, oh my, oh my
Oh my, oh my, oh my
Oh my, oh my, oh my, oh my

It ain't my fault you keep turning me on
It ain't my fault you got, got me so gone
It ain't my fault I'm not leavin' alone
It ain't my fault you keep turning me on

I can't talk right now
I'm looking and I like what I'm seeing
Got me feeling kinda shocked right now
Couldn't stop right now, even if I wanted
Gotta get it, get it, get it, while it's hot right now

Oh my God, what is this?
Want you all in my business
Baby, I insist
Please don't blame me for whatever happens next

No I-I-I-I, can't be responsible
If I-I-I-I, get you in trouble now
See you're-'re-'re-'re, too irresistible
Yeah, that's for sure

So if I put your hands where my eyes can't see
Then you're the one who's got a hold on me
No I-I-I-I, can't be responsible, responsible
It ain't my fault (No, no, no, no, no, no, no)
It ain't my fault (No, no, no, no, no, no, no)
It ain't my fault]

The next song was sung by Adya, very much to my friend's disappointment. Ishaan's expressions were impossible to describe. Even when my friend was pregnant but not for once she was looking like a pregnant lady making Ishaan insecure. She was so graceful all the while. Since Ishaan was the one who teased Rohit most when Riddhi was singing, so Rohit was returning the favour now. All of us were having fun looking at each other's faces, mostly I was enjoying. I contemplated Kiaan's idea not to be that bad.

The girls took a break after the two performances, and when we saw little one coming towards us all of us took our position while Namit, being an idiot sat down trying to hide from her.

"Hey." she came towards Hredhaan greeted him smiling widely. It wasn't her usual smile, it looked more like a flirtatious one.

"Hello." Pretending to be busy I was looking at her from the corner of my eyes.

"Do you have something strong?"

"Strong?"

"Yeah, strong as in a strong drink just like you." she ran her fingers over his biceps while my eyes were wide opened in shock.

All of us, trust me all of us were stunned. Hredhaan gulped in nervousness seeing my little one flirting with him. What exactly is happening?

Snapping her fingers in front of him she asked, "Where are you lost? I want a drink. I know I am gorgeous but see, unfortunately, I am married." She showed her ring finger and made a gloomy face.

Pausing for a bit and sighing she continued, "So I would like if you will give me a strong drink to make me forget my painful fate."

Poor Namit, what is my sister up to?

"Yea....yeah." Hredhaan stuttered and came back with a light drink and thankfully little one didn't notice. She is naive when it comes to the type of drinks and I couldn't be happier.

"What just happened?" Namit asked getting up while Hredhaan was still in the state of shock.

"Now do you guys believe that my idea is great. We will get to know how your girls behave behind your back." Kiaan was trying to instigate everyone and was successful in it. But I have a very different plan, I was about to flee with my muffin as soon as I get time. I had no plan of wasting my time with these bunch of idiots.

"Agreed," Namit said while he looked downhearted.

"Guys, the next is a duo. Any guesses?" Nitya's voice pulled our attention back on the stage

As the girls cheered for Shruti and Nitya Hredhan's head snapped towards the stage who was a while ago seemed so uninterested.

Arjun was busy with his food as Jai had managed to get something for him. His whole concentration was on the chocolate ice cream and the pasta.

[It's a little dirty how the whole thing started

I don't even really know what you intended

Thought that you were cute and you could make me jealous

Poured it down, so I poured it down

Next thing that I know I'm in the hotel with you

You were talking deep like it was mad love to you

You wanted my heart but I just liked your tattoos

Poured it down, so I poured it down

And now I don't understand it

You don't mess with love, you mess with the truth

And I know I shouldn't say it

But my heart don't understand

Why I got you on my mind

Why I got you on my mind

Why I got you on my mind

Why I got you on my mind]

It appeared as if Shruti was pouring her heart out through the lyrics. Her eyes were fixed on Hredhaan while she sang and the matter was the same for my friend as well.

Wait! Do they know? No, I don't think so. Ah! Everything seemed so predictable and yet unpredictable.

"Guys, we have another duo."

Jai almost tripped coming forward to look at his girl as the next song was to be sung by Aditi and Niahrika.

[Talkin' in my sleep at night, makin' myself crazy

Out of my mind, out of my mind

Wrote it down and read it out, hopin' it would save me

Too many times, too many times

My love, he makes me feel like nobody else, nobody else

But my love, he doesn't love me, so I tell myself, I tell myself

One: Don't pick up the phone

You know he's only callin' 'cause he's drunk and alone

Two: Don't let him in

You'll have to kick him out again

Three: Don't be his friend

You know you're gonna wake up in his bed in the morning

And if you're under him, you ain't gettin' over him

I got new rules, I count 'em

I got new rules, I count 'em

I got new rules, I count 'em]

"When did I drunk call her?" Jai queried pouting.

"I don't know dude," Arjun said patting his back. Now, why is he being despondent? Shouldn't he be happy, since he had his food a few minutes ago?

The next song was sung by Simran and Sonia.

[From the breaking of the day to the middle of the night

From the breaking of the day to the middle of the night

From the breaking of the day to the middle of the night

From the breaking of the day to the middle of the night

Summertime and I'm caught in the feeling

Getting high and I'm up on the ceiling

I don't know what you're doing in New York

All I know is you ain't on my bedroom floor

I'm seeing you undressed in my room

But it's just a memory, a fantasy (Fantasy)

Are you in your house? Are you going out?

Are you going crazy like me?

From the breaking of the day to the middle of the night

I try to forget about you, baby

And I die when I think of you with someone else and

I don't know why

I don't know why you're dancing in my mind

From the breaking of the day to the]

Both of them left the stage while Namit was left sad and in his faint tone he mumbled,

"Sama didn't come."

"Guys please call her, I can' see my friend in a miserable state," Arjun said to us who just hugged Namit trying to pacify him.

Just one chance and I will leave my friends, I need to be out of this fucked up situation right now.

[No chemical could recreate our chemistry

Got what I need, need, need

I'm technical, but I lose sensibility

When you're next to me

I feel a boom, feel a bang inside my soul, love

When you lay me
