I couldn't remove Dhruv's image front of in my eyes. The smile that was playing on my lips since the engagement had not once left my lips.

I had for sure gone mad.

I was being insane for him, that man had done something with me. I was used to thinking about him only, all the time, from the breaking of the dawn to the late hours of the night. My only wish was to be beside him every minute, every second. The seconds I spend without him were a waste for me.

But...

What a stupid girl I was? I asked him to stay away from me for some rituals when I was completely aware of the unavoidable fact that a single day, leave the day, a single second without him was hell for me.

I was in my room after we had our food after the engagement and I was not even allowed to see him. I was missing him.

We girls were about to share rooms till marriage. I was supposed to be with Dhriti and Riddhi but only at night because I knew the girls were not leaving me alone for a bit.

I was changing my dress in the walk-in closet and could hear them teasing me. I had no idea how to survive their consistent teasings. It was going to be very tough and I couldn't even hide because the only place I love to hide was his embrace only.

"The amount of time, you are taking in changing your dress makes our doubt confirm that Dhruv is with you."I heard Riddhi while the others giggled at her comment.

'Be prepare Saavi Bhatt, the red colour is not going to leave your face even for a second.' warned my inner self.

"Just two minutes."

"Take your time Bhabhi, we can wait but Dhruv Bhaiya can't." I heard Simran and that comment only made me blush harder.

I arranged the dress and went out where every one way was waiting for me only as if I was their favourite prey.

"You have already become red," commented Shruti while I put both of my palms on my cheeks.

"Guys, stop," Dhriti said sternly, and just when I thought I was saved she said, "By the way, Is Dhruv still in the closet?" that only made others cheer and hoot at her comment.

I was wishing that I survive their teasings.

"Okay, okay, guys, let's be serious for a while. We haven't decided on the venue yet." I was thankful to Niharika that for a bit they stopped teasing me but I couldn't understand what she meant by the venue.

"Venue?" I asked.

"Yes, for the bachelorette." Dhriti was grinning at the fact.

"How about Bhangarh Fort," Simran suggested the haunted palace. I was not in the favour of visiting that place even in the daytime.

"Simran, its bachelorette not Halloween," Sonia replied.

"A club?" This suggestion was made by Nitya.

"How about a restaurant?" Adya proposed the idea of the restaurant and I kind of liked her idea more.

"Adya, its bachelorette not lunch." Aditi didn't approve of Adya's proposal.

"I know, but I can't go to a club or something," she said pointing at her big baby bump.

"I have an idea," Dhriti said and I was hoping it better be good.

"How about the hotel's club. I have heard they have one on the top floor." Again club? I would not have been comfortable but it was in the hotel and no outsiders were allowed which was a plus point.

"Not a bad idea and that way even Adya can attend," Aditi replied.

"Great, then it's final."

The next three days were going to be hectic for sure no doubt. I had to try dresses for every event the following morning and then the bachelorette at night. The day after the bachelorette was Mehndi[Henna] function and Sangeet[music function] and the day before our wedding was our Haldi[Turmeric Ritual].

"Guys, I need help," Dhriti said gaining everyone's attention, and told every one of us the punishment for the guys except Dhruv.

"What did Kiaan do to deserve the harsh punishment of all?" Aditi asked raising her eyebrows.

I also wanted to know and when she told me that he had spread a lie of her being a mental patient I was astonished.

"He told me the same." I didn't realize I said it out loud until I heard Dhriti gasped hearing me.

"I am gonna kill my brother I guess."

"Can I help?" Simran asked.

Pausing for a bit she smiled sheepishly and continued further, "I meant I can help you with the plan."

"Thanks, Simmi, are you sure you can do this?"

"More than sure, Di."

"Ok, done."

All of them started to talk about the preparation and stuff while my eyes were fixed on my phone. I didn't receive any message from Dhruv. Though I was the one to make him agree for the rituals, he still, couldn't just send me a text.

Deciding to text him myself I opened his chatbox on WhatsApp and sent him, 'Hi.'

I waited for a few minutes and was checking the phone frequently but didn't receive any reply. The problem was he didn't even read my text even when he was online.

'Is he ignoring me', I thought?

'No, he can't. Dhruv can never do that, I am certain.' I convinced myself.

But still, he could have sent a reply stating that he is busy. I didn't notice that all of them had left the room and only Riddhi and Dhriti were left.

Riddhi started to tell me about his and Rohit's love story, how my idiot brother realized his feelings for her, and that worked as a great distraction for me and all three of us slept while talking.

"So, why did you call all of us here?" Hredhaan asked entering my room where I called all the Aces to tell them something very important.

"David has gone crazy. He is raiding every corner of London for Lucifer." I told them the one piece of crucial information I received through Andrew.

"So what exactly you have planned?" Namit queried sensing that I had already planned my next move.

"I will set Lucifer free."

"Are you crazy?"

"What The Hell!"

"Dude, No."

Namit, Hredhaan, and Arjun were stunned and I was confident that they might be thinking I had gone insane.

"Calm down guys, listen completely." Making them stop I continued further, "I will ask Andrew to let the guards down so that Lucifer can escape and I am certain that he will go to David like a faithful dog he is."

"David is a freaking mafia Dhruv. Do you think he will leave Lucifer? He will kill him and what will we get? Nothing." Kiaan said sternly still disapproving of my idea.

"I know he will kill him and that's when we will start blackmailing him," I replied making everyone perplexed except Arjun. He was a criminal lawyer and must have understood a bit what message I wanted to convey.

"Blackmailing him with what? We don't have anything against him." Namit said.

"That we know, he doesn't," I replied.

"Then why are we leaving Lucifer? We can blackmail David now as well, right?" Hredhaan was right but then Lucifer was going to play an important part in the game.

"Yes, we can. But then, he will not buy the lie and won't fall in the trap."

"Ok, I understood what you meant," Arjun said finally breaking his silence.

"So, what you mean is, we will set Lucifer free and he will approach David. David will kill him but then doubt will surely make a space in his mind how did Lucifer escape. There are only two options either he was set free by the ones who had captured him, that means us, have found something solid against him or he actually escaped."

Arjun paused for a bit and everyone's focus was on him. Continuing further he said, "But looking at Lucifer's condition David will find the probability of the first one more."

"Correct, Malhotra, and in fear and rage he will do a mistake." I completed my plan and was expecting a reaction from everyone.

"It sounds perfect," Arjun said.

"Agreed." Hredhaan also agreed with my plan.

"Me too." Kiaan and Namit too didn't have any problem at all.

"So did you ask Andrew to do that?" Namit asked but I was waiting for their agreement as well and since they were convinced I found the timing perfect to turn the tables.

"Not yet, just wanted to inform you all."

"Go Ahead, I think it's a perfect plan," Kiaan said and I took out my phone to contact Andrew.

Opening Andrew's chatbox I was texting him about the plan when I got notification of a message from my muffin. A smile did appear on my face but I couldn't reply. When I was done with texting Andrew, I was about to call my muffin when my phone was snatched away from me.

"What The Hell!" It was Hredhaan who took the phone away.

"We need to go and no you can't text your muffin right now." He said sternly.

"What? But why?" How could I have lived without talking to her? Already the rituals had distanced me from my love and now my evil friends were not even letting me talk to her.

"Come with us," Namit said and all of them went out.

Scowling, I followed my idiot friends to Jai's room where he, Ishaan, and Rohit were already waiting for us.

"What did you find?" Hredhaan questioned.

"The girls are having a bachelorette tomorrow night," Jai replied. I wasn't aware of what was going on and why was big deal if the girls were having a bachelorette?

"Oh Wow!" exclaimed Arjun.

"There will be drinks as well," Rohit informed.

"So? I know not all will drink." Kiaan was correct, girls of our families do things within a limit. We never stopped them though. I didn't understand what were they trying to say until Ishaan spoke shaking the ground beneath us.

"And there will be guys too."

"What?" all of us yelled.

Wait! Why did Hredhaan and Arjun were shocked?

Hredhaan always tries to hide his feelings but we all knew and there he was being shocked by the fact that a guy might be near his Shruti. But why the hell Malhotra was not ok with the news, I couldn't get.

Maybe he is still not over Aditi, I thought.

"Yes, all the bartenders are boys. They have booked the club on the top floor." Jai broke my thinking spree.

"That's so not going to happen," Rohit said.

"I am not letting Adya go." Ishaan was adamant about not letting her go.

"Me too," I replied. I needed to stop muffin and the girls anyhow.

"I can't let Sama go but I also don't want to stop her." Namit was crazy for my sister. But if he wouldn't then I would stop my little one. Kiaan came with a perfect solution to our problem.

"How about we crash the party?"

"What?" The idea didn't settle well with Rohit. I knew Riddhi would kill him for thar.

Adding further Kiaan said, "Uh-huh. But disguising ourselves as someone else."

"Oh, Shit! I can't even do that. Why the hell muffin made me agree to the rituals?" I whined thinking of the stupid rituals and my promise to muffin.

"What rituals?" Ishaan was not aware of it so I told him what I meant. "I can neither meet her nor see her till marriage."

"And since when you started to abide by some stupid rituals or rules?" He was right but it was before muffin came into my life.

"Since muffin took a promise from me."

"So, will you let other men see her in a beautiful dress?" Jai asked making me terrified with his question.

Not believing his words I asked, "Dress?"

"Of course, and what did you think she will wear in her bachelorette?" Now Rohit was also adding fuel to the fire.

"There will be ten bartenders." Jai exploded another bomb on us.

"Ten." I was horrified by this new fact. Not one or two but ten.

"How did you know all this?" Hredhaan asked the question I wanted to ask.

"I heard Niharika, Shruti, and Nitya talking with the hotel manager and that's how I got to know."

Deciding to not let anyone see my love I made my decision."I am not letting that happen. Let's crash the party."

"By the way, what will they have on the menu?"

"Arjun, you are unbelievable," said Namit before we left that idiot friend there only to go back to our rooms.

"Guys, listen," I called but all of them left while I was still sulking about the menu. I decided to ask the hotel manager and went down but couldn't find him except the receptionist who had been giving me flirty looks.

Waiting for the manager was not a good option and I thought why not use my charms to woo that receptionist and make her reveal the menu, because without her manager's permission she won't spill a word.

'Come on, Arjun Malhotra. You can do this.' Being confident I made my way to her.

"Hi." I greeted her casually trying to hide my real intention.

"Hello Sir, do you need anything?" It was so evident that she was dying for my attention.

"Yeah, the AC of my room is not working. Could you please send someone to repair it? It's hot in there."

"Sure sir," she replied while I opened the top two buttons of my shirt pretending I was feeling hot. I saw her gawking at me with the corner of my eyes. My plan was working.

She made a call to someone and then turning towards me she said, "The technician has been sent to your room sir."

Smirking at her I said, "I didn't remember telling you my room number."

"We...we keep track of our guests." she stuttered making it more obvious.

'So, I have got a stalker here, I thought.

"Cool," I replied making her believe that I was not affected.

I was looking here and there and when my gaze fell upon her watch I got a flawless idea."Nice Watch." I complimented.

"Thanks. It's Tommy Hilfiger" Idiot Girl was trying to show off as if I was blind to see the brand name.

"It's my favourite brand." I lied as my favourite was G-Shock.

"Really?" It was so easy to lure her, she couldn't even notice the G-Shock watch on my wrist.

"Yes, can you show me? Actually, I wanted to buy the same for my sister-in-law"

"Sure," she replied giving me her hand instead of handing her watch to me.

'Great Arjun Malhotra, just a few minutes and you will get to know the menu.', I praised myself in mind.

I held her hand and tried to pretend that I was mesmerized by her watch.

"By the way can I ask you something?"

"Anything sir," she replied in her extra sweet tone. I was thankful that my ears didn't start bleeding.

"What will be the menu for tomorrow's bachelorette?" I was looking at her watch not still not showing my real intention.

"Oh, that..." but before she could tell me someone tapped the table.

I wanted to yell at the person who just disturbed me. Just when I looked up at the source, to say I was shocked would be incorrect, I was scared.

Her gaze was fixed on my hand that was holding the receptionist. I messed up badly.

"There is some problem with the doorknob of my room. Please send anyone to fix it."

"Mam, you could have called me." the receptionist replied irritatedly and I wanted to twist her hand.

How dare she talk to my precious like that?

"I did, but it seems you were so busy that you didn't pick up." She replied giving me and her a disgusting look. The phone was ringing a while ago but she didn't pick up and I also didn't tell her to.

Realizing her mistake the receptionist said, "I will send the technician soon mam."

"Room No 304."

"Sure."

Holy Shit!

I left her hand and was about to follow when the receptionist asked, "Don't you wanna know the menu?"

"No," I replied glaring at her. Nothing was important than my precious.

"Precious, wait," I yelled running behind her but she fastened her speed trying to avoid me in every way possible. That's what she had been doing since she had arrived. Whenever I tried to approach she either left from there or avoided me like I was some kind of virus.

"Precious." Grabbing her hand I pulled her to me.

"Leave Me," she said and was trying to wiggle out of my hold.

"I won't."

"It's not what you saw, I was just...." Glaring she cut me off mid and said, "I don't want to know. It's your life and anyways weren't you the one who had said who am I to meddle in your business."

Guilt overpowered me and I left her hand. I did say hurtful words to her in the past but I never meant it. It was all to protect her.

"I am doing what exactly you wanted," she said and turned around to leave when her steps halted hearing my apology.

"I am sorry."

Turning around she smiled sadly at me."Sorry? For what? You didn't do anything wrong, you just showed me the reality. Thank You Mr. Malhotra for that."

"Precious I...."

"And one more thing, I am Nitya for you, not any Precious, so don't call me that." she spatted angrily and left from there leaving me with my guilt.

'You were my precious, is my precious, and will always be my precious. I know what I did was wrong but my intentions have always been clear and that was not to hurt the people I love. I am sorry for what I did and now I will do anything in my power to win you back my love.' I vowed.

I checked my phone the next morning but got upset when there was still no reply from Dhruv. He had seen the message but didn't even send an emoticon. How could he do this to me? He must be busy but informing me was not going to cost him money.

After breakfast, I was made to try a hell of a lot of dresses.

"Aren't we done?" I asked Aditi and Adya who were instructing me to wear this and that.

"No, we have only selected your dress for Haldi," Aditi replied while going through more dresses very much to my disappointment.

I had tried around twenty-one dresses and in them, only one was selected. It was tiring than expected. I looked at Dhriti for help but she only smiled sadly at me and said, "I am sorry, I can't help. They never listen."

Pouting back I went to the closet to try dress number twenty-two.

"I guess this will be perfect for mehndi," Riddhi commented trying to help me as she knew I was exhausted.

"No, try another one," Simran said sending me inside the closet again.

I needed my Dhruv.

'Where the hell is that idiot?', I mused.

I decided to give him silent treatment the next time he would meet me. I had no idea that marriage was this tough. And finally, when I was out, dress no twenty-three was selected for Mehndi.

I took a breath of relief and soon it was time to try dresses for the bachelorette. When I was handed the dresses I had to try I was astounded. The way everyone was excited and preparing for the party for the night I was certain it was going to be unbelievably grand.
