Aurora Collins

He slipped his hand in mine and brought it up to his lips. He planted a soft kind on the back of my hand and led me out the door.

My mind was going haywire and I was bursting with joy.

I clear my throat and decide to start conversation upon entering the car.

I strap my seat belt on and he does the same. "Where are we going?"

"You'll see." He smirks at me. I roll my eyes in irritation but a smile creeps onto my face nonetheless.

He drives in silence and it's not awkward or tense. It's actually quite comforting. Just being near each other, hearing our hearts beat in the silence of the day.

We enjoy the company of each other without having to express words. Thats just...us.

A little bit quiet, a little bit messy, a little bit magical when together.

The sun is starting to set slowly and beautifully. We start driving deeper and deeper near trees and water and the scenery just keeps getting more and more gorgeous.

There's no cars on the trail we're going, Just us, trees, and colorful clouds.

"Are we there yet?" I ask impatiently and bounce my knee.

"Almost, I'll need to blindfold you." He says and reaches into the pull out space thingy in front of my seat.

His hand brushes against my knee while doing so and I sharply breathe in at the contact. I try to seem unaffected and I glance at his face while trying to make the tingles go away.

He's face gives away nothing but his eyes twinkle with what you could only call mischief.

He takes out the blindfold and hands it to me and focuses back on driving.

"Why do I have to be blindfolded?" I grumble and wrap the silk cloth around my eyes nonetheless.

"You'll see." He says shortly and all I see is black. I feel the car coming to a stop and a car door opening. Next my side door opens and Aaron's hand overtakes mine and he guides me out.

My heart feels like it'll beat right out my chest and I shakily step out and straighten my dress with my other hand.

"Take small steps." He says softly and tightens his grip on my hands. He walks in front of me and I follow behind blindly.

I hear soft tides hitting the shore so I connected two and two and realized we're somewhere near the ocean.

"I really hope your not going to kill me," I whisper and grip tighter into his hand.

"Cause if you are, I'll beat your ass." I add on.

He scoffs playfully and even though I can't see him, I can feel him rolling his eyes.

"Please. What are you again? Five foot four inches?" He chuckles.

Our walk comes to a stop and my lips form into a frown at his comment.

"I'm five foot, six inches. And I can take you on any day." I grumble.

I feel him coming closer to me until his mouth is right near my ear. I hear his soft intakes of breath and his little curls tickle the side of my face slightly.

"And I'm six foot, two inches. And I'll take you on any day." He whispers with a smirk flowing in his silvery voice.

His hands go to my blind fold and he slowly unties it. He removes it completely and I flutter my eyes open.

When I take in the sight in front of me my jaw drops to the floor. "Holy shit." I gasp and my hands go to my mouth.

In front of me was the ocean with a gorgeous sunset in the background and a table with two chairs decorated with all types of flowers and candles on top and all over the ground.

There was a group of men in the far left carrying ukuleles, just standing there watching us with friendly eyes not doing anything.

I hear Aaron sigh deeply behind me and he snaps his fingers in their direction and they jump.

"My apologies sir." One of them says and they start playing in sync to a beautiful soft song.

"Oh my lord Aaron. You went above and beyond." I say quietly, still in shock. He outstretches his hand and I slip my into it. "Only for you." He states and I slap his arm playfully.

"Seriously, you did well. This is gorgeously amazing." I breathe out and run my hands over the flowers laid out.

He strides to the table and pulls out my chair for me and I sit down somewhat gracefully.

This dress and heels make me feel fancy-dancy.

"I know." He says cockily with a smirk plastered on his face. He then takes his own seat and I rest my head on the palm of my hand with a smile on my face.

With the soft music playing in the background, a breeze tickling my skin, and the sound of tides hitting the shore, things couldn't be more perfect.

I have a gorgeous man in front of me that just set up the best date ever, making me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

My eyes observe Aaron's face as he ties his shoe laces. His hair got shorter and lighter than before, that fits him perfectly. His eyes greener than any forest I've ever seen and curls for days.

He sits back up and gives me a breathtaking smile, melting my heart away.

"So what do you want to eat?" He asks me and hands me a menu and taking one for himself.

With the place I'm in and the person I'm with, I wouldn't be anywhere else.

I grab Aaron's hand that lays on the table and bring it to my lips, planting a soft kiss.

He stops his sentence short and his eyes follow my actions with a foreign emotion swimming inside and I give him a soft smile.

"I love you Aaron."

I updated really late I know! Apologies my fellow friends lol.
