First off, sorry for the very delayed update.
Second, we're nearly at 1 million and I'm literally so grateful.
Thirdly, bless you flapdoodles.

"What the fuck is that?"

"Shut up Charlotte! I'm trying my best." I groan and stir the cookie dough. Charlotte starts coughing due to her trying to swallow flour.

"Don't do that!" I scold and snatch the bag from her.

Since my parents left for the evening and Parker is at school, me and Charlotte decided to make chocolate chip cookies.

Telling by the broken eggs on the floor, the mixer that I broke, sugar everywhere, flour on our faces and clothes, melted chocolate on the ceiling, and super glue in Chars hair, we aren't doing so well.

"Maybe we shouldn't even try. Let's order Chinese?" Charlotte asks for the tenth time but I determinedly shake my head.

"No! I'm going to make this damn cookie and your going to like it!" I exclaim angrily. God! How hard could it be to make fucking cookies?

"Fine! Hurry, I'm been waiting four hours and all you've done is stir the damn dough!" She says impatiently with narrowed eyes.

"Don't worry, we're leaving the day after tomorrow. No more of this bullshit." I mutter and stare at the soggy dough in disgust.

"Maybe we shouldn't?"

My head shoots up at lighting speed. My face forms into a scowl and Charlotte backs up with raised hands and a cautious face.

"Relax."

I set down the bowl with a bang that echoes throughout the room. "Charlotte, you know what's been happening. What I've been going through, and you suggest we stay longer?"

"Don't you want to be closer to your dad? And Aaron-,"

"No. I don't. I can call my dad or FaceTime. He can send over his jet and I can visit for weekends." I explain shortly and start laying the dough onto the pan.

"And what about Aaron? Just cause you can't fucking see it doesn't mean I can't." She says suddenly with anger evident in her tone, surprising me.

"Your just to caught up in your feelings to realize that he has feelings too. After all, he's the one who nearly died because he loved you too much." She basically shouts and throws her hands around trying to prove a point. She's pacing back and forth and rambles on.

"I see the way he looks at you! When you smile or laugh his eyes brighten immensely and when you talk to him he's so interested in what your saying. And then the necklace, and the ball! He disregards everyone else, and puts all his attention to you!" She says stressfully and grabs my shoulder, staring into my soul.

I stare at her in disbelief and shock. I've never seen Charlotte like this. So worked up over something.

"I'm tired of seeing you guys bluntly ignore your feelings. He loves you and you love him. Problem solved." She shrugs like it's the easiest math equation in the world.

I lose my words and open my mouth like a fish out of water.

"I don't know how to tell him." I whisper with closed eyes.

"Well you better figure out, either take the risk or lose the chance." She says simply and jogs up the stairs to her room.

Before she leaves out of sight I call her.

"Wait Char!"

She stops in her tracks and turns to me from the railing. "Yes?"

"Was this considered a fight between us?" I clarify.

"No. Just a reality check." And she disappears into her room.

Charlottes words really opened my eyes, I can't lie. I can't deny my feelings for Aaron, no matter how hard I try. I need to tell him.

Tomorrow.

I pick up my phone and call the one person that can make me make up my mind.

I press on Seth's name and wait for him to pick up. He answers on the last ring.

"Hey, whats up?" He says in a deep weird voice.

"Seth? Is that you?" I ask and check the caller ID again to make sure it's him. It is, but he sounds really weird.

"Yeah, everything okay?" He asks again in that deep voice.

"Are you okay? What happened to your voice?" I ask in concern and lean against the counter with furrowed eyebrows.

I hear another voice in the background and stand up straight. "What's goin-," I start but I'm cut off by another manly voice.

"Babe who is that? Come back to bed." Says a gruff voice in the background and my jaw drops to my toes.

"Seth you flapdoodle!" I exclaim with a smirk and childish eyes even though he can't see me.

"U-um I'll call you back later." He stutters and cuts the line, obviously flustered.

I stare at my phone in shock and burst out laughing to myself. I wipe my eyes and shake my head with a smile.

I open Spotify and play Used to By Sandro Cavazza and Lou Elliotte. I start swaying to the music slowly and humming softly. I try to finish baking my cookies and not put it to waste.

When the cookies are in the oven I turn to the mess of a kitchen. I put my hands on my hips and take a deep breath. Let's get started.

"Sometimes I really love life." I laugh and grab a mop.

"Wanna dream crazy dreams, be a teen, like we used to."
