Ellison Taylor

Mr.Park's mouth dropped opened. Mrs. Zhou looked scared. Ashton was choking and Eleanor looked like she will faint.

"You mean to say.. you are the IAN COLLINS?!? like our boss Ian Collins?" Audrey spoke after sometime.

"Yes." Ian said tilting his head to one side.

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Collins." Mr.Park apologized, he was baffled and I think embarrassed by how he was treating our boss.

"Please don't be, thank you for the warm welcome though." Ian said amused. "I guess Ms.Taylor found it amusing." And all eyes turned towards me. Mrs.Zhou give me a look and I give her an apologetic look.

"I think Mr.Collins had more fun."

"That I did." Ian agreed.

"I apologized for my informality." Mr.Park said.

"Apologies accepted. I would apologize to all of you for not introducing myself earlier." Ian said.

"It's fine." Everyone stammered as they brushed our boss's apologies.

"I can see how hardworking you guys are and I'm happy how you are working as a team." Ian complimented them. "Please carry on the good job."

"Of course." Mr.Park said. "We will try our best."

"Ms.Taylor and I would like to thank you all for your generosity. We would like to excuse ourselves as it is getting late."

"Of course." Ashton said.

"I hope to meet you all again." Ian said. "Have a good night, everyone."

"Have a good night, sir." Everyone said in unison.

I thank everyone quickly and give them apologetics looks before following Ian out to the elevator. All of them followed us and waved goodbye until our elevator's door closed.

"That was new." He said.

"I was surprised they didn't know who you were." I tell him, honestly.

"It was a surprise for me as well." He frowned.

"Anyway, glad you had an amazing interaction." I said with a smile.

"I know." He give me a small smile and looked at his watch.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"10:20." He said.

"We spent quite a lot of times with them."

"We definitely did." He agreed.

"Are we going home?" I asked curiously.

"If you think you are getting away from me that quick-you are wrong. We can go and grab some desserts."

"Sure... like what?"

"Smoothie?" He asked.

"That's fine with me."

"Great! I know a place where we can go."

I handed my car key to Joe, who promised to have my car delivered and stepped inside Ian's Mercedes. The car smelled of mint as soon as I sat down. He made sure I was buckled up then adjusted the heat of the car.. it was not that cold yet. He played soft music in the background, not too loud so we can have conversations.

"If you don't mind me asking... where will you be next week?" He asked.

"My cousins- whom you blatantly scolded on the phone is visiting us."I said.

"The reason for my blatantly rude behaviour is she made you upset and I didn't like that."

"Thank you though." I said. "I appreciated that."

"I'm glad you appreciated that or I would be concerned." He joked to which I laughed lightly. "What will you be doing though?"

"They want to have tour around the city." I said. "I mean, they are social butterflies and they have lots of connections here and there which is why I'm surprised she even want us to show them around."

"Sounds like you will have fun."

"Of course." I said. "I took vacation days just to entertain people who are ungrateful and will complain throughout the tour." I rolled my eyes.

"I would love to meet them." He said all of a sudden.

"Why would you want to meet them for?"

"Just to check how nice they are."

"You really want to meet them?" I asked.

"Sure. Why not? Unless you have a problem with that." He give me a quick look before looking back at the road.

I'm sure they would love to see his handsome face, but do I want them to know him? And then I felt a pang of jealousy. I know how they are.. if one of them likes him-it won't be difficult to have him. They are both beautiful women, very elegant and graceful in whatever they do except their mouth needs a little filter. They don't care how other's feel when they talk, it comes out rude and offensive most of the time-but I know Ian will easily fall for them when he sees them and I frowned at that thought. Do I want him to meet them?

"It's okay." He said. "I don't really have to meet them. I'm just curious how they get on your nerves so easily."

"I think you can meet them?" I said hesitantly.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes." I said.

"I don't want to meet them if you are uncomfortable and trust me- if you're afraid I would fall for them. You're wrong."

"How would you know that? You didn't even met them yet."

"Ellison." He started. "I don't think I can fall for someone else again the way I did for you." He sighed.

"We will see about that."

He smiled. "Sure."

We entered a plaza that was filled with restaurants. We parked outside the frozenlicious store. There were most teenagers sitting there with drinks and playing with their phones.

They sold both smoothies and ice creams.

I decided to get the strawberry yogurt smoothie and so did Ian.

"This used to be my hanging out spot in college." He said as we were waiting for our drinks.

"What about the apartment?" I asked.

"That one." He give me a sad smile. "I haven't been there after I took you. Maybe we can go there sometime?"

"Not even once?"

"I couldn't go back there.." he whispered.

"Maybe we should?" I said.

"If you want? I want to make some changes over there and maybe you can help me out. I think I want to make it a living space rather a hang out space."

"You are planning to move there now?" I asked.

"I don't know." He said. "I haven't decided anything yet."

I nodded my head. A guy called out our number and he grabbed the drink for us and we found a spot away from the crowds.

The drink was delicious. I have never been here before, now that I do I think I will be buying here often.

"What is your plan for tomorrow?" He asked.
