Ellison Taylor

I didn't answer him and pleaded again for him to leave.

"Ian." Cooper said as he stood up to move towards his friend.

"I will never ever hurt you, not physically at least." He said and grabbed me by my arm and pulled me up.

"Leave me alone." I said as I tried to pull my arm away from him. He pulled me out of the chair and pulled me towards the exit. He took us to the empty music room and I pulled my arm once again and this time he let me go.

"I know you're mad at me, you have reasons to be mad at me, but I promise I have reasons."

"I don't want any explanation. I think we should leave things as it is."

"I can't leave things like this." He shake his head, no.

"Why you want to fix things now? Why not months before when it happened? It doesn't make sense at all."

"I don't like the way you are looking at me." He whispered.

"What?"

"You look like you are scared of me. I don't like that look." He said as he put one of his hand on my face. "'I'm trying very hard not to hurt you, I didn't expect this to go this far." He sighed as he dropped his hand to the side. "I promised El." He groaned in frustration.

"What promise are you talking about?"

"F*ck it." He said as he put one of his hand on my waist and pulled me close to him and then I fell his lip on mine. His other hand was on my hair, playing with it gently. It was a gentle kiss- he pulled away before I could respond and he cussed loudly. "Sh*t. I'm sorry, I should have asked you first." He apologized. I pulled him close to me, this time and stood on my tip toe and pulled him in for a kiss this time.

"I like you Ian.I don't know if it's too late, but I want you to know that I like you." I said after we pull away to breathe.

He looked surprised for a moment. "I've to tell you something." He started, but we were interrupted by the door opening and I see our friends standing there. El looked like he will murder Ian right now and Cooper looked at Ian with disappointment, while Claire was fuming with anger.

"Leave the room right now." El muttered.

I looked at Ian and then at El. Claire came forward and started pulling me away from the room.

"What's going on?" I asked. "I think it's not a good idea to leave them alone."

"You should worry about yourself." Cooper said as he stood beside me.

"What?" I asked.

"Claire, take Ellison out of the room, now." El said.

"I think we should all talk it out?" I suggested.

"Right NOW." El fumed and Claire pulled me along with her to the exit.

Claire pulled me out and asked if I'm okay.

"I'm okay, but I think we should be worried about them."

She grabbed both of my arms and shake me gently. "You should be the one worrying about yourself."

"What is with you guys and about me worrying about myself?" I asked frustrated.

"Have you thought about why Ian started being friends with you or the reason of his sudden interest in you?" She fumed.

"Instead of beating around the bush, can you please explain to me what is going on?"

Before she could say anything more, El came out and pulled me along with him. I feel like I'm being dragged here and there by everyone. Cooper stopped Claire from following me and I see Ian giving me a guilty look but didn't make any effort to follow us.

We stopped outside in the field and he sighed. "How are you feeling?" He asked.

"I'm confused." I said. "Claire was going to explain something to me before you interrupted."

He sighed, somewhat relieved. "Ian is my friend and so are you. I know we are not that close to be using the term friends, but I'm worried that you will get hurt. We all make mistake and I don't want him to regret what he is currently doing."

"Can you guys not beat around the bush and explained to me exactly what is going on..."

"He's doing something that he'll regret in the future and I'm saving you from the heartbreak and saving him from regrets in the future and I feel like I should tell you to end this right here and right now, for sake of both of you."

"Who are you to make a decision for us? Who are you to tell me to end things with him? He should be the one standing here and explaining to me what is going on and filling me with these incomplete details." I was angry now, angry at how they are treating me like a child, angry for pulling and pushing me around, angry at Ian who seemed to be running from problems, angry at him for not having the guts to come and talk to me about these matters.

"You're right, I have no rights to be here and talking to you about matter like this, but I have to remind you that Ian is my friend and I'm doing this to save him from having regrets in the future."

"He can end things by himself, he can come talk to me in person."

"You know that he won't end it here and then you will get hurt when you get to know. I don't want you to hate him later, he's a nice guy but he make stupid mistakes at times."

"Then I want to learn and hear this from him about the stupid mistakes he is making or made..."

"You will regret learning about it." There was a promising look in his eyes.

"That's for me to decide." I stared back with equally challenging look. He looked away and sighed. "I tried." He raised his hands in surrendered. "Please don't hate us later when you find out the truth and especially not him." And he walked away leaving me in thoughts and overthinking.
