"I know I am, Ma Neteyam."

Neteyam laughs softly, intertwining his fingers with Y/N's.

"Neteyam! Mom called for you...oh..?" Lo'ak stops, looking at the scene before him with a smirk on his face.

"Nevermind.. I'll just say you're..busy..." Lo'ak says, walking away from the pair.

Neteyam looks embarrassed, while Y/N just sits there- with her hand still holding his.

"Y/N.." Neteyam whispers.

"Yes?"

"Have I ever told you how..beautiful you looked under the moonlight?"

Y/N stays quiet, before responding.

"No, you haven't. Have I ever told you how cheesy you get whenever you're around me?" Y/N asks, squeezing his hand.

He feels his face heat up, before speaking once more.

"The day you told me about my future, I can never seem to get it out of my head."

Y/N nods, listening intently to his words.

"But.. I can't wait any longer. I tried to repress my feelings, but the more I ignore them- the stronger they get." Neteyam confesses, staring into your eyes.

"Neteyam.." Y/N whispers, in awe.

"Y/N. I can't take it anymore. I've liked you for what seems like forever." He continues, clutching your hands and bringing them to his chest. You swear you could feel his heart beating rapidly.

Y/N stares at Neteyam, her own heart racing.

"I See You, Y/N."

"I never knew my brother had such a soft spot for your sister." Lo'ak says, watching from afar.

"What's going on?" Manu asks, holding Lo'ak up so the Sully boy can get a good look at the two love birds.

"You guys are stupid. We're gonna get caught." Kiri states bluntly

"At least have a little faith in us, Keyring." Manu groans, dropping Lo'ak- causing the boy to hit the sand hard.

"What the fuck Manu?!" Lo'ak exclaims angrily.

"My bad, Loan. My arms gave out." Manu lies, shrugging.

Lo'ak scoffs, while Kiri holds back her laugh.

"What did you see though." Manu questions, pulling Lo'ak up from the ground.

"I couldn't hear much..but, I managed to make out one thing he said." Lo'ak explains.

Manu nods, listening.

"He said...I See You Y/N." Lo'ak states, crossing his arms.

Manu gasps and Kiri is also a bit surprised- but doesn't show it.

"He did it.." Kiri states, leaning against a tree boredly.

Manu sighs, "I guess I gotta play cupid now.." he mutters, grabbing a big shell from the sand.

Y/N stares at Neteyam, who only stares back.

"You don't have to feel the same way.." Neteyam mumbles, looking at the floor with a shameful look on his face.

"No..Neteyam. I-" Y/N stops when notices a big shell that is about to hit Neteyam in the head.

Without thinking, Y/N pulls Neteyam towards her, avoiding the shell from hitting the boy.

They collide, their chests touching and shii.

Neteyam feels as though he is going to melt.

Y/N peeks behind Neteyam and sees Manu, who is holding a thumbs up in the air.

Shaking her head, she steps back from Neteyam so they are face to face.

Seeing how anxious he looks, Y/N tucks one of his braids behind his ear.

"Neteyam..look at me." She whispers.

He obeys, looking into her eyes.

He felt so warm as if he was floating.

Her hand caresses his cheek, and he leans into Y/N's touch.

"I was hoping you'd take the hint.." She sighs, before grabbing him by his necklace and pulling him to her.

The small gap between the pair closes, and they share a kiss.

"I can't believe my eyes." Kiri whispers.

'I feel like I'm in a movie- wait never mind... I am lol.' Manu thinks to himself, shaking his head.

At that moment, Lo'ak looks like a proud brother.

Neteyam's left-hand holds the back of your neck, while the other is at your hip.

You pull away, your eyes boring into his golden ones.

You try to ease your heart that beats rapidly but you're unsuccessful. He presses his forehead to yours.

"I see you, Neteyam." Y/N confesses.

At that moment, Neteyams heart felt so full. As if it was about to burst. He laughs, holding Y/N close.

"Y/N...Y/N..Y/N." Neteyam says under his breath.

"Why do you keep saying my name?" You ask.

"I have no idea..but it feels so right." He answers, smiling.

"you're so weird.." Y/N taunts, pushing his braids away from his face.

"Whoo-fucking-hoo everybody. Do you see that? I did that." Manu says, pointing at his sister and 'Neptune' in the distance.

"Do you want a trophy or something?" Kiri asks, rolling her eyes.

"As a matter of fact, I DO want a trophy Keyring." Manu clarifies, jumping down from a tree.

"My name is Kiri- not Keyring."

"I don't care Keyring."

"Guys, stop fighting. We gotta head back." Lo'ak says, making his way back to the Maruis.

"Loan is finally being responsible? This day couldn't get any better." Manu boasts.

"My name is Lo'ak. Get it right, Mango." Lo'ak replies.

"MANGO? MANU AND MANGO DON'T EVEN SOUND SIMILAR-"

"He's in denial." Kiri states, walking beside the two boys.

"SHUT UP KEYRING-"

"You first, Mango."

"KAITAE-"
