When Y/N finally woke up, Manu and Maya were overjoyed. Not only was their cousin not dead, but also now they had an extra pair of hands that could help them survive. Maya and Manu made sure to fill Y/N in on everything that had happened.

After hours of working, like finding food, getting wood for the fire, etc. The three musketeers were getting tired and decided to take a break. Manu was sleeping, snoring loudly, while Maya stared at the sky. Y/N was drawing little doodles in the sand with a stick she found.

"What are you looking at?" Y/N asks Maya, who only laughs.

"I'm looking at the stars. They look beautiful tonight." Maya says, leaning back against the sand.

"They do." Y/N agrees.

"But look-" Maya points to one star, in particular, it seems to be alone. But it shines brightly- standing out from the rest.

"Oh..that's cool- I guess." Y/N says, staring at the star Maya seems to be encaptured by.

Maya sits up, "There's a story about it." She says, turning to face you.

"Long ago, there was a warrior. Her name was Whetū. She was one of the strongest warriors around, physically and mentally. The village loved her, and she loved the village" Maya tells, drawing little circles in the sand with her fingers.

"She lived a peaceful life, not much war. Until one day.." Maya looks out to the ocean.

"Large ships sailed forward towards her home. She saw it from the shore, as many ships came."

Y/N listens to the story, feeling like child being told a bedtime story or something.

"And on these big ships, were many many people. They were nothing like she had ever seen. She walked toward, curious about these newcomers. Whetū wondered what they were doing on the island, as she walked closer." Y/N listened intenly, as Maya continued to talk. Both unaware of the pair of ears listening from the trees.

"She only made it so far, before one of the men from the ship saw her. Upon seeing Whetū, he yelled in a language she couldn't understand. He yelled, pointing at Whetū, who stood there clueless and confused. Who were those people? Where did they come from? Why was the man yelling?" Y/N shifted in her spot, getting in a comfortable position to lay in.

"Suddenly, more men came from the ship- holding some sort of shiny stick with a handle. It was a silver, and it looked almost like a mirror. It was long, and the men pointed the objects towards her." Maya sighed.

"They shot at her, but missed. She was a warrior after all. She retreated back to her village. But as days passed, her people slowly started disappearing. The village that was once full of her loved ones, now mostly full of empty homes."

"What happened to the villagers?" Y/N asked.

"They were slaughtered by the outsiders. And when Whetū found out, she was enraged. She grabbed her taiaha, and walked toward the ships." Maya grabbed a hand full of sand, slowly letting it fall from between her fingers.

"Again, the man shouted, and she had the "silver sticks" pointed at her. But this time, she didn't run off. She ran towards the men. For every villager lost, one man from the ship died at the hands of Whetū. She used her taiaha to hit them, bash their heads. She did it all. Shouts, screams, cries were heard from the island all day and night." Y/N sat there in silence. If they were still on earth, Y/N would've definitely had some popcorn by now while listening to Maya's story.

"But she soon died that same day from blood loss and exhaustion, with the blood of many many men coating her hands. But people say that she now lives in the sky, being the brightest star every night." Maya looked up at the other, much smaller stars.

"And the other stars, represent her slaughtered people." Y/N looks up at the sky, trying to count how many stars there were. Maya notices this, and chuckles.

those dudes must've killed a loooot of people.. Y/N thought, sweatdropping.

"They say that the most bravest warriors will become a bright star too when they pass on." Maya concludes, yawning.

"Do you want to be one?" Y/N asks, pointing at Whetū's star while looking at her cousin.
"I'd like to... And when I do, I hope that you and Manu will join me when your guys' time comes as well."  Maya says, laying on her side and yawning again.

"What a bunch of weirdos... I wonder what they'll say.." a blue eyed na'vi mutters, staring out at the three strangers from the trees, before rushing away. Though the blue eyed boy felt uneasy about these strangers, the stories they told intrigued him, made him want to know more.

The trees rustle from the fish boy running off , which causes Manu's ears to perk up.

Manu gets up, and walks towards the trees, peeking through- only to see nothing. Maya calls him over, telling him to stay close. He obeyed, and walked back to their little spot, going back to sleep. They all lay there, around the fire to keep warm. And soon, The three musketeers fall asleep to the sound of the waves and the rustle of the trees.
