She is sheer perfection

I woke up twenty minutes ago and she is still asleep on my chest, let me tell you, I fucking hate anyone that touches me, but her. She could bring me to my knees with a smile. I can feel her steady breathing against me.

These past few weeks I might've not have been around her, but I was definitely thinking about her and that's hard to admit. There is something about her that has me, I don't know what it is but it's addicting.

There's fucking something wrong with me

Once she woke up I offered for her to come in the shower with me, I knew she would reject it, but just to see the light in her eyes was enough for me. The thoughts of her immersed me within the shower and I found my mind drifting back to last night. Her moan was my new favourite sound.

The minute I got out of the shower, I was graced with the presence of her naked body as she reached for her shirt.

I couldn't help myself but stare at her, "you got some drool coming out of your mouth there Easton," I heard her laugh. That addicting laugh.

As if my legs had a mind of their own I stalked over to her and pulled her into a kiss, my arms traced down her waist while I picked her up. The only thing keeping me from fucking her right there was the meeting at the warehouse.

Pulling away from her I could see her cheeks heat up, "come with me today?" I ask coming out more as a statement. After her agreeing I go into my closet and choose out a suit for the meeting. When I return from the closet I see her heading to the door, I spot her red thong laying on my side and pick it up. Red is definitely attractive on her, I walk behind her as she reaches the door and hold them in front of her.

I can tell she's embarrassed, when she slips out of my room. I sigh and lean against my door, I never thought this would happen, I feel weak. I've never felt something so deep, I'm getting lost in her. And it isn't right, that joy doesn't belong within the darkness of this lifestyle. But I can't help it if every time she smiles, I feel her joy enter my lungs.

Weaknesses don't belong here, especially not near the people whom I deal with on a daily business.

I walk out of my bedroom and into the kitchen, I throw my phone on the counter and look within the fridge for something to eat. I hear my phone ring, look at the caller id before I pick it up,

"What?"

"Easton they're here, and they aren't happy." I hear Dante say.

"What the fuck do you mean they aren't happy, we are having the meeting to talk about territory, they should be fucking happy that I'm even considering giving them any inch of our land." I run my hands through my hair as I yell into the phone.

"William doesn't seem happy, he's pacing the conference room, I'd say get here fast before he kills us all." Dante states.

I hang up and throw my phone at the counter, I should be the one to be mad not William. He is the man who fucked up his own drug trade.

I hear a bang from behind  me and I whip around, my hand reaching for the gun in the back of my pants. I see Lyla and she looks fearful, I try and calm down before we leave. The conversation in the car isn't much. When I park the car I look at her and sternly say, "Stay here, do not leave the car." I step out of the car and lock the doors before shutting it, this place may be nice, but I don't trust anyone around her.

Everyone's fucked

I enter the code into the door and it opens for me. I walk up the flight of stairs in the direction of the conference room. As I round the corner I see Dante and Joey standing outside the door.

"Easton, there is more of them here them necessary, cameras caught some of them lurking outside the building, and within." Dante says. I instantly feel regret leaving her in the car, I don't know what they'd do if they got her, especially in car like mine.

"For fuck sakes, Dante go get me an estimate on the numbers," I mumble walking up to Joey.

I whisper, "Lyla's in my car, get her out of there and bring her to my office, I don't care what the fuck you have to do, I don't want anymore seeing her." Joey moves away from me with a smirk.

"Don't make me regret telling you anything," I say gritting my teeth.

I open the door and slam it behind me. I turn and see William standing at the other side of the table, with his men.

"William." I greet him pulling out my chair, kicking my feet up onto the table.

William is an older man, in his late sixties at least. His hair slicked back and grey, as we all do, he is wearing a suit. His men stand behind him as if it's supposed to be intimidatingly, they're all fucking pricks, they deal with sex trade, which is one I stay far away from.

"How nice of you to greet us Easton, an hour late might I add." He speaks taking a seat himself.

"Yeah well, you're on my time, I'm not on yours. So what did you want to talk about?"

"Well, as you should know, our warehouse was attacked the other day by a rival gang, who ended up destroying thousands of dollars in drugs. So I'm promising an alliance, we need more territory and protection while we get our affairs' back into order." He announces standing up

"So you want me, to fucking give you protection because you can't keep your shit in order?"

"Yes Easton, an Alliance," He states

"No, so get the fuck out. I'm not putting my men at risk because of your stupidity." I watch as he stands up and struts over to me .

"You listen to me boy, you fucking better think about what you just said." He yells, my eyes trace over to the men at the other side of the table.

"You don't fucking come in here threatening me, you are out of place. You need to back the fuck up before you lose everything." I say kicking my feet off the table, standing up.

"I'm done with this fucking conversation, close the door behind you," I continue.

Without another word I watch as William exits the room. His men stand there, and don't make a move to leave. "Get the fuck out!" I yell

I turn and feel something graze my arm, a bullet hole is in the wall. I turn and see one of the men holding a gun. "Fucking cunt," I yell taking the gun out of the back of my pants.

"Drop it." I say, and the guy stays still, I watch as the others stay still.  As I turn to leave the run I put my gun up and shoot him in the head. I hear him thump against the ground and I shut the door. I lock the door behind me, seeing Dante walk down the hall.

I throw the keys at him, "Doors locked, kill them all."

"There's 15 of them circling outside still, I don't know where William went. He's disappear off the cameras," Dante states while walking towards the door.

'I don't fucking deal with bullshit,' I mumble to myself feeling the blood seep through my jacket.

I walk up the stairs towards my office I kick my door open and walk towards the sink, I throw my jacket on the floor and take my shirt off, I look over my shoulder, I can feel it burning but I can't see it which pisses me off. As if it's just invisible pain.

I turn around in the room when I hear something hit the floor, I whip around hoping it isn't an ambush. I see Lyla stand up from the ground, I feel the weight lifted off my shoulders.

I watch as she approaches me and squeaks out, "do you want help?"

"No Lyla I'm fine, I can do it," I grumble, the pain almost immersing me with every moment. I turn the water on and let it run.

"Easton you can't it's on the back of your arm, how the hell do you think you're gonna reach it," she persisted. It made my blood boil, I had already had to deal with William this morning and she was tipping me over the fucking edge.

"I'll manage Lyla, leave me the fuck alone." I yell raising my voice. I grip my hands onto the skin and close my eyes, I fucking hate when people persist after telling them no, I deal with bullshit like this all the time and it pisses me off.

I hear the door slam shut and I'm brought out of my thoughts when I look around the room and Lyla isn't there. I run over to the door and pull it open, letting it slam against the wall. I see her making her way down the stairs, I run my hand through my hair and look to the ground, "Lyla please come back, I didn't mean it."

I watch as she approaches me and I whisper, "sorry," before she walks back into the room. I grab her arm and bring her back to the sink, "would you help me?" She doesn't answer and I feel like she's mad, I bring her against my chest, "you bring light into my life, I didn't mean it, stay with me."

She mumbles some words which makes me feel better, and then she's gone to grab the first-aid kit. I'm immersed in my thoughts, not knowing what's happening outside of the room, or within the base. I'm brought back out of my thoughts when she demands me to turn, "I would like a kiss first," I say smirking.

She tells me 'no' and I turn going back into my thoughts, over the ten minutes I didn't feel anything she was doing. But I did feel when her touch left mine. I heard the first-aid kit close and I turned around and wrap my arms around her waist, I spin her around. I lean in and kiss her, her lips are soft, and I can feel her whole body giving in.

I feel her arms wrap around my neck and I lift her onto the counter. I deepen the kiss before pulling away from her, her eyes glittering full of happiness. "So where do you wanna go?" I ask letting my hands linger on her waist.

"I don't know," she whispers running her fingers through the back of my hair. A perfect feeling.

I knew what I wanted to do. I lifted her up from the counter and she squealed, wrapped her legs around my waist. I walked over to the couch and set her down getting on top of her. If she knew of what had happened earlier, I know she wouldn't be comfortable around me.

"Come to dinner with me tomorrow," I ask more coming out like a demand, she pulls my face down to hers and pecks my lips. I hungerly push mine back onto hers, I hear her moan into my mouth which only turned me on more. I slowly started to grind my hips up against her, feeling her hands glide down my chest.

A loud knock at the door disrupts us and I pull away from her groaning. Her face is flushed, which makes me chuckle. "Go away," I yell before kissing her again.

"Boss, it's important," I hear the person say from the other side of the door.

I sigh and get off of Lyla and I see her sit up on the couch. I open the door to see Joey and Dante standing there, "What was so important," I say glaring at them.

I watch as Joey looks into the room and spots Lyla then looks back at me and whispers, "you guys gotta leave E, William is throwing a fit, there's gun fire everywhere outside."

I felt myself go pale, I shouldn't have brought Lyla here today, of all days this happened it had to be when she came with me. "Lyla come on, we are getting out of here ." I say and I watch her come over to me.

"okay come on," I say taking her hand in mine, walking out of the room. She trails behind me as we walk down the stairs, when we reach the bottom I turn to her, "stay close Lyla, and don't make eye contact with anyone."

She doesn't reply but I know she's listening, I walk through the hall with her behind me. We reach the door and I open it slowly to see if anyone is outside. We walk out the door towards the car when I see William, I feel my shoulders stiffen and my grip on Lyla's hand tighten.

"Ah Easton, I knew this was your car, I could recognize it anywhere," he says sitting on the hood of my car.

"Get the fuck off William, I'm not playing this game with you," I shout, I watch as his eyes drift from me to Lyla and he smirks.

"Well are you not going to introduce me to the lady Easton? That's quite rude." He says walking towards us holding his hand out.

"Don't fucking touch her," I warn pulling her behind my back.

I watch as he raises his hands in defense with the smirk still on his face, " pretty girls like her don't last long around here Easton, there's been talk about some girl seen around you, but who would've thought that was true," he threatens walking away from us, I open the door for Lyla and she gets in. I get out of the neighborhood as fast as the car can go, after ten minutes I pull over to the side of the road and turn to Lyla.

"I'm sorry, you should've been there. Fuck this should've never happened," I run my hand through my hair, "you deserve better, fuck you don't deserve to be around someone within this lifestyle, you're gonna get hurt," I rant.

I feel her hand on the side of my face making me look at her, "Easton, I'm okay, nothing happened. I like you Easton, I'm here and I don't want to leave."

She likes me.

She made me feel something, I could never describe it. But as soon as she leaned over the dash and her lips touched mine, it told me everything I needed to know.
