"Baby girl you did so good" I exclaim as I pick up my five-year-old daughter, smiling proudly as I give her a hug

"Did you see all of my dances?" She asks with a smile

"Of course I did."

"Did daddy?" She questions looking around the room as more and more parents enter the room

"Yes, Daddy saw all of them as well." I nod and turn to the direction where Easton is standing, letting Alena and I have our moment.

Alena's eyes follow me, falling on Easton "Daddy!" she says excitedly. I put her back on the ground and she runs to him. Easton bends down and scoops her up pulling her into his arms.

"Of course I saw all of your dances, and I'm so proud of you, you did so well" He kisses her head

"I love you daddy." she snuggles into him

"I love you too Sweetheart"

Alena is now five years old and today Easton and I had yet another proud parent moment as we sat in the audience and watched her dance at her end of year concert. Alena loves to dance, and she's very good at it as well, it started from the time she should walk she would always stop and start dancing whenever she heard music, so when she turned four we decided to take her to a dance class to see if she liked it, of course, she took to it like a duck to water and she's made so many little friends as well.

She's been dancing with the same group of little friends for a year now and they're all becoming quite the little dancers, but at this stage and them being so young it's still all for fun, nothing too serious.

"Are you ready to go home? We're having everyone over for dinner to celebrate." I remind her as I stand next to Easton and her

"Is Grandad Chet going to be there?"

"Of course he is."

"YAY!" she exclaims and claps her hand

"Grandma and Grandad?"

"Yes." I nod

"Oli and La?"

"HmmHmm" I hum

"Grandma Angie and Caleb and Romee and the baby?"

"Yes." I nod again and laugh "Everyone is going to be there, so let's get you home." I kiss her cheek.

Holding Alena with one hand, Easton reaches for my hand with the other and interlocks our fingers as we walk out of the building together.

We arrive home and I'm thankful for Amara and the girls who have already started plating up all the food and bringing it out, as well as the boys for starting the barbeque. Leaving the hall took a little longer than expected with the Mums and Dads stopping us for a chat on the way out. Both Easton and I appear to be pretty popular among the parents, especially Easton, the other Mum's just love him, not that I can blame them, he's still as gorgeous as ever.

"The superstar has arrived!" Chet yells and everyone turns in our direction. Alena runs to Chet who picks her up and spins her around

"Did you see me Grandpa Chet?"

"I did, me and Grandma Amity, and Grandma and Grandad." He says referring to Shay and Lane.

"How did she go?" Amara asks as she makes her way over carrying her and Nate's three-year-old Layla or La as Alena calls her on her hip.

"She smashed it, best kid out there" Easton grins cockily

"Oh come on, you have to say that, you're her dad." She giggles

"No she did really good, she's in her element on that stage that's for sure."

"You want to hope she doesn't end up a stripper or exotic dancer," Reid smirks as he makes his way over carrying his daughter Rosie.

"Fuck up would you." Easton huffs causing Reid to laugh, they just love pushing each other's buttons.

I giggle softly as I look around at all our beautiful friends and family.

A lot has changed for us all in the last five years. A few weeks after our wedding Nate asked Amara to marry him, she, of course, said yes and less then a year later they were married, and a few months after that she found out they were pregnant for the second time after, this time they were expecting a baby girl who they named Layla

Reid and Kassie finally got together after almost a year and a half of them dating and last year they had their first child, a baby girl who they named Rosie. They don't have any plans to get married at the moment, for now, they're happy living life together with their baby girl as a family.

Romee finished college and took over the medical wing for Sara just like she had always planned. Caleb also finished college and is now working as a lawyer, lucky for us because he's got Easton out of trouble more times then I'd like to count. Like everyone else, Romee and Caleb have also gone on to get married and have their first child, a baby boy named Sebastian. At this point, they've decided he won't be part of the Cobra family business, but they're also not going to hide it from him.

Evie and Leo have officially traveled the world together, it amazes me the places they have seen and the things they have done. If there are two people who were ever met to be together it's Evie and Leo. Evie is currently pregnant with their first child and Leo proposed a few weeks ago, so it won't be long until we have another baby in the mix and another wedding to plan.

Things for our parents are finally starting to slow down a little. Now that we're all grown up with our families they've been able to take a step back and enjoy life as grandparents. Chet and Amity are now getting older but they're both still fit and extremely active, Chet still goes to the gym every day and puts the young guys to shame. Shay and Lane are no longer doing any work for the Cobras with Easton, and Nate having officially taken over and run everything themselves with no help from the older generations.

Charlie and Zay are still running the Mechanic shop for now, but in a few years they'll hand it over to Reid to take over. Reid is still very much part of the Cobras but to take over the shop for his parents is his dream.

Angie and Damon still live Springs and have no intention of leaving. Alena calls them Grandma Angie and Grandad Damon, she understands they're not really her grandparents but that they looked after me for a very long time and they're very special to me. One day when she's older I'll explain to her properly.

Yes, a lot has changed for us in the last five years but the one thing that never changed was us sticking together, always, through the good times and bad.

Dinner with everyone was great and before we knew it, it was 7 PM and most definitely the kid's bed time. We said our goodbyes to everyone and made our way inside.

"Shower and bed little miss," Easton calls as Alena begins to run up the stairs still full of energy

"But Daddy." She pouts

"You have your first day of big school tomorrow and it's almost past your bed time already." He reminds

"Okay." She pouts and walks slowly to the bathroom

"Damn I hate it when she gives me that face, she makes me feel like I'm so mean." He laughs softly

"That's why she does it because she knows you let her get away with whatever she wants when she does." I press a kiss to his lips "I'll bath her and put her to bed."

Easton's POV:

After cleaning up downstairs I make my way up to Alena's room and stand in the doorway for a moment watching Aubrey put her bed, tucking her in and giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you Alena." She tells her with a smile

"I love you Mummy."  she says sleepily as she snuggles into her pillow.

If ever I was right about something it was that Aubrey was going to make the most amazing mother, she has been nothing short of the best when it comes to the way she cares for and loves our daughter.

She's kind, patient, gentle and loving and the relationship she and Alena have built already is so strong. Now that school is starting I'm sure things with change for Alena and as much at the scares me I know she's in good hands with Aubrey who'll always give her good advice, listen to her and give the best cuddles when she needs them.

"Hi daddy." Alena smiles up at me

"Hi Sweetie." I make my way into the room and bend down kissing her head "Sweet dreams okay, and when you wake up it'll be your first day of school."

"Oli will be there, won't' he?" she questions a little unsure.

"Oli will be there baby, he'll look after you if you need him, but don't forget how strong you are."

"I won't daddy" she smiles

"Goodnight baby." Aubrey stands up

"Night Mummy, night Daddy."

Aubrey hits the lights and we exit the room together. She makes her way across the hall into our bedroom and sits on the edge of the bed letting out a soft sigh

"You okay?" I question sitting down next to her

"She's just so grown up, it feels like only yesterday we found out we were expecting a little girl and now she's going off to big school."

"Beleive me, I know." I laugh and lay down on the bed "It won't be long before I need to give the guns a good clean."

"Easton." she giggles and lays down next to me

"It's true, she's getting more and more beautiful by the day, and before we know it she's going to be grown up and bringing home some asshole with tight jeans and tattoos who clearly won't be good enough for her, but she won't see that."

"Oh yeah? An asshole in tight jeans with tattoos? What is she marrying the younger version of her father?" Aubreys grins at me

"Probably knowing my luck." I laugh before pulling her into my arms. "You're the most amazing mother you know that?"

"Mmm?" she hums looking up at me.

"Really baby, you are. I don't know how you do it, but I couldn't have created a better mother for our daughter if I tried. These last five years have been full of adventures and firsts, but nothings seemed hard with you by my side."

"Aww East." she looks up at me, tearing feeling her eyes "That's very sweet of you to say, you're a wonderful father as well."

"Eh, I'm okay" I shrug

"You're more than okay. I know we have it a little easier than most families because we can take time away from work when we need it, but how many other dads did you see at the dance concert? how many other dads held their daughter's hands and walked them into their first day of pre-school? How many other dads have not missed one single tiny milestone in his daughter's life?" She leans on her below

"You're wrong baby, our daughter would never end up with some asshole who isn't good enough for her, because you've taught her how a man should treat a woman through the way you treat me."

"Maybe." I nod

"Definitely." She turns her head to the side looking at me. "You are the best father and the best husband and we're so lucky to have you." She presses a kiss to my lips once more. "Now, we have a big day tomorrow, shall we go and take a shower and get into bed?"

"Would I ever pass up the chance to have a shower with my wife?" I smirk and sit up.

Aubrey pulls her dress from over her head, and throws it to the floor, her eyes never leaving mine. "Meet you there then." She winks and heads for the bathroom.

Fuck me.... five years on, and I still want her more than ever.
